Thank you for the thorough explanation. I really don't know to choose r2 or x21 for walking purpose. The most important thing for me is the cushion and natural feeling. Your input would be highly appreciated.
Hey! Have you bought this treadmill? I just ordered one in India and have a few questions: How is it working for you? Have you ever contacted customer support? If so, how was the post-purchase service? Thanks for any insights!
Mine was defective in the motor and electronics and am in the process of getting it returned without having to pay shipping. It was so disappointing a real hassle to box it back up. I will find one in person so I KNOW it works.
I was trying to listen for the sound that some people report hearing when you unfold it around 9:59-10:01 in the video, but it seems like it got skipped a bit. Does yours make a noise as if something is peeling, and it it anything to be concerned about?
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
Does it fit under a desk if you lower the handle to the lowest option possible? Also, can you remove the handle, should it not fit under a desk with it on, and still start it?
Great review of the Kingsmith Walking Pad R2! I'm from India and just ordered one for 50,000 rupees. It's arriving next week, and I'm excited to use it for my long WFH hours. My main concern is post-purchase support. Since you've had the treadmill for about 2 years now: Have you ever needed to contact customer support? Do you have any contact information for them? How is the treadmill holding up with regular use? Any insights on durability and support would be really helpful. Thanks for your detailed review!
I've been using mine for a while now and love how easily I can get a few extra miles in while doing work that requires less precise coordination/typing. Your review definitely helped me decide (and ultimately, the R2 was on sale where I live, so it was quite affordable). But I find it quite loud, especially on the seam and was wondering if there's a way to fix it. I've put some of the silicone jelly but I don't think it's the belt that's noisy but the mat underneath it. If anyone has any tips, they would be greatly appreciated!

@@mohammadsohail5684 Hey! I still like it and use it regularly. I mostly walk on it, usually for around 1 to 2 hours while working on a presentation or something similar. But I've also done some jogging on it and it works for me. It's not amazing but fine. A bit loud. I did return the first one because the seam was super loud because the glue came off and the air bubble was popping. The customer service was great but that might be due to the store I bought it at, since I currently live in Europe and they have pretty strict regulations about stores having to do returns. If you have the space, a non-folding one might be better. but for those of us with smaller apartments, this is great.
Hi Team - Loved the detailed review. Question: Can you please suggest a walking pad that has adjustable incline levels? Also, it would be great if it can be folded and carried along while moving between cities (portable I mean). Awaiting your response:)
FYI for anyone wondering I saw a different video where it looked like the power cord is indeed removeable albeit a little short. Glad to know there's a chance to replace the cord if it gets damaged.
They're all great for different purposes but I think if we had to choose just 1 it would probably be the R2. It's just a really versatile and great pick! Let us know which one you would pick.

Hi, great and detailed video review. Thank you. You have used so many walking pads. Could you please recommend a walking pad which has the widest belt? I am obese, so I am looking to buy widest possible walking pad so that I can walk on it easily while working on desk.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru Thank you very much. I will buy this. Just to reconfirm if you do not mind, is there any other company other than walkingPad company with wider under-desk treadmill? I am a little lost that may be I should have specified in terms of all companies instead of just Walkingpad company. Appreciate if you could please be kind to spend a couple more mins to respond to this.
@@ashharme522 Yes, there are other brands with wider under-desk treadmills. The InMovement UnSit is the widest we've seen, and the LifeSpan TR5000 and TR1200 have wider belts than WalkingPads. If you check out our best under-desk treadmills video here: th-cam.com/video/6kkZp4cdZh0/w-d-xo.html you can learn more about these models and we have links to the products in the description of this video. @@ashharme522 LifeSpan TR5000 seem to have the widest belt along with a 181kg max user weight and excellent warranty (lifetime on frame, several years on motor and other parts). If you’re in the UK, cheapest I’ve found is The Treadmill Desk Store. Let’s both transform ourselves!
It is quite heavy. but if she has enough clearance to roll it all the way from under the settee to where she'll be using it, it might work. It's harder if she needs a mat underneath or if she has to roll it over any other sort of barrier. But if it's all flat, it might be doable. For me, the heaviest is lifting it from lying into standing position to hide it away. It's also hard to maneuver if you have less space.
@@franciscastelino6553 Forgot to add that it might be a bit tough on carpeted flooring, since the wheels are small compared to the overall size/weight of the machine.
We don't notice it nearly as much as we did on the WalkingPad X21. It's there, but the R2 feels a lot smoother than other WalkingPads we have tested. Your shoe cushioning will also impact how much you feel the hinge underfoot.

How to fit the battery
My top speed is locked. Do you have any memory of what it takes to get full use? I’ve been walking on it for almost forty minutes at a sloth’s pace.
You can unlock the speed in the KS Fit App on your phone. You just need to pair the treadmill to the app and you can unlock it there.
Same problem with me, it's on the walk mode, can't change speed more than 6 km/h even in the apps
