This is the walking pad I am currently using and my favorite one for a good workout! (Amazon affiliate link) geni.us/9Jtq - Here is my video review for this walking pad: th-cam.com/video/-mwC58aTrsQ/w-d-xo.html
Of the brands you tried, what about noise at max speed? Appreciate a real human comparison, not another fake bot pretending and just a text to speech if the Amazon page..
Thanks for the suggestion, i really didnt want to spend nearly $300 for something very limiting, and ONLY for walking! I just want to walk in the comfort of my home. Instead of dealing with the summer heats and then choose to stay inside if i want.
Just be careful bc cheaper price means cheaper parts, often no quality control, extremely limited warranties, and sometimes no customer service. If you're going to use it everyday, make sure it can handle it. I've read reviews and have coworkers who have had to replace cheaper ones in less than a year because the parts wear fast or the motor burns out. There's a reason regular treadmills aren't cheap.
I want to buy one just so i can get cardio in at my house, but when i look at reviews of some of these. the Band could tear or the motor burns out/ cathes fire. So anyone have a long lasted tried and true Walking pad looking for heavy duty aswell holding atleast 300 pounds
Don’t get the ActFlame. Belt slips left and right and then when you tighten it, it starts grinding. It worked good for about a month. I’ve had it about 5 months.
Great video summing up most walking pads, they all look so similar but have small differences. Thanks for making this, helped me have less choice paralysis when looking at so many options!
You didn't discuss if the motor gets hot after walking for a period of time or warranties that cover your product to me these are just as important as the remote or incline??????
Great video 👍. Unfortunately I am still curious to find out with the ones that go up to 7mp how it feels to jog on it. Oh one other thing to consider when buying one is if you can stand it up straight for storage some of them you can because of the button lay out.
I was looking for this, too, initially, but having used a lot of actual treadmills, the cheap ones can be dicey. So if a treadmill made for running can be problematic, it's probably too much to hope a walking pad is going to be able to handle it. Jogging/running increases the force at ground contact, and I just started thinking that the walking pads that go up to a higher speed might not be able to handle the force over time and could wear out faster than some of them already do. So I just decided to get my running in some other way, and keep the walking pad strictly for walking.
Cost aside, why not a regular treadmill? You'd have to have excellent balance with one of these pads. The only advantage I can see, and yes it's a big one: cheaper and easier to store. The full treadmills have too many unneeded bells and wistles. Thanks for the vid.
I think really these are made for storage and for a work from home environment. It is nice that you set this up real quick under your standing desk or in front of the TV or something like that. It is a good way to get some movement in while you are in front of a screen all day. I do wish they would go faster but I get that they don't because they don't have a bar to hold on to.
Are you using this on carpet? I was told not to use them on carpet but my whole house is carpet except for the kitchen in the bathrooms. What should I do?
If it's a fire hazard thing, could you put a piece of tempered hardboard (aka Masonite) down? Comes in 4'x2' sheets at most big box home improvement stores. It's thin enough to store just about anywhere (as low as 1/8" thickness) and pretty easy to move around. (Bonus: you can cut hand holds into it to make it easier to move around and make it pretty with patterned contact paper if you want)
Hello there!thanks for your video!👍just got one actually!i need your help please!can you store your treadmill vertically?got so many different answers on the web!mine is actually in my living room under the carpet right now!!this is driving me mad!!is it safe to store it up on a wall??thanks for your reply!!😉👍
I store mine vertically all the time. No issues. The only reason I could think of where you might not want to is if your walking pad or treadmill and a lubricant reservoir that could potentially leak. Most walking pads however do not have this.
@@GoTechGeek many thanks for your fast reply!!👍👍👍i am relieved now and hopefully i won't have issues!👍👍like you said some do not recommend the way up to avoid to damage the belt...may i ask how long have you been store it this way??
Yeah. I think if you are setting up and putting away the walking pad that might be annoying but if you keep it in the same spot that is a good way to do it.
I went through two Topulure brand walking pads in 6 months off amazon they are almost $300.00 and overheat along with puking oil out too much and i walk 20 min a day thats it at 3.0 walking speed it gets hot the belt gets catchy and its a mess and i now think imo walking pads are for 60 pound kids and not adults im 227pounds on a 300 pound weight rated shitbox i sent the first back before the 90 days was up hoping it was a flaw got a new one and the same shit happened so there is no trying to save space you have to buy 1 thats as big as your local city county building and deal with it and thats my review of Topulure there JUNK dont buy

Finally someone not pushing crap and has some real information. This is rare these days.
Appreciate the no-BS 4-minute video, thanks.
Last month we bought the Cursor Fitness C70 Home Folding walking pad and we love it.🏃🏼♂️

Same! Great comment.
Walking in a pretty major “limited” thing…

yeah im trying to find that out too, lots of bad reviews among lots of good review.

I got the zenactive works fine for walking .There is not enough space to feel safe running .mine only goes up to 5 miles per hour .
I have the home fitness code white pro10km 120 kg with double shock absorption

What about noise? Does it have a big difference between how much sound they make?
Stick a couple of heavy books under the front should do the job for incline
Good tip! Thanks!
I thought of that but how safe is it
Perfect! I've got 4 x 5 kg weight plates.
Or a piece of wood
Pro tip if you want to walk incline, walk up and down your stairs
2:43 "You're gonna work more of your legs"
Me: I'm already workin two of em how many more can I do
I mean cant you just put something under the front of the Pad to increase the incline?
I had a walking pad. I think I burned the motor out because the pad is so close to the floor it overheated.
So which one is the best for longevity. Ive been looking at deerrun it been getting good reviews it seems
Hey don’t you think the width of the walking pad is quite narrow as compared to treadmill . We tend to go left and right while on treadmill
I'm 380lbs and i can't find one that i can use
I am loving my DeerRun walking pad!
how long have you had it?
What if the remote is not working???
Sorry I may have missed but the power of the motor is very important, whether it is 2.5 or 1.5 HP?
1.5 HP for walking. 2.5 HP can jog.

I use it on carpet and have not had any issue. I wonder why you were told not to use it on carpet.

Can you put a yoga pad underneathe it? My family has all carpet too!

Thanks! You helped me decide.
Is the size too small for a big guy ? Or is it comfy ?
Finally, my dog can get some exercise.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
do they all use friction between belt and their flat part? isn't any with rolling parts?
All friction. I have yet to see one with rollers.
Thanks for an very informative video 👏🏻
Which standing desk do you have ?
very well done, thank you
