Remember the true arena for kirby's return to dream land? Several weeks of 7 year old me dying and retracing before getting my 11 year old brother to help and even then it took 1 week of practicing to no hit the first 5 stages. Fast forward to 6 years and I finished typing this comment.
The Datamine revealed that there is three different background (one for each waves) before we even get to see the first one. Maybe the third one will give us the sweet lore we want, a new boss or a teaser for the next villain.
this remix is really good. I like how the 02 theme is something calm and sad and melancholic so the miracle matter theme starts in pure anger and chaotic aggression. when ripple star starts playing i can only imagine the kirby and ribbon in the final fight against 02 in a anime style :) like in planet robobot
This is my favorite medley in the game. The transitions between 0² and Miracle Matter is perfect. And the Ripple Star map theme at the end is a cherry on top.

I really like that Zero 2 brings in the rising action, Miracle Matter is the tension, and Ripple Star unleashes the climax, finally bringing us back to Zero 2 theme.
I think they did the Zero Two part better than they did in Smash Bros. Brawl (although that remix was more designed for a fighting game). I also love how they intertwined Miracle Matter’s theme within this remix. Two amazing songs in one (but Zero Two’s theme is better :D).
God, playing through Guest Star as Adeline, going through the Ripple Star level, and fighting Morpho Knight only to hear Zero-Two and Miracle Matter's themes COMBINED was such a treat!
This is probably my favourite of the alternate Morpho Knight themes, primarily because it stays true to the motifs of Morpho Knight's original theme. The medley was a fitting tribute to the endgame of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, starting off with the somber, suspenseful rendition of Zero Two's theme and then gradually getting more intense with Miracle Matter and Ripple Star, kinda like how Morpho Knight's theme started calm and then gradually got more chaotic as it built towards the climax. The beginning of this track in particular is my favourite because the beat, pianos and synth bassline (which is used to transition into Miracle Matter) are all closely similar to Morpho Knight's, like the track is saying "Yeah, we gave you the fanservice you wanted, but remember - you're still fighting Morpho Knight".
coming back to say in 2020 that this theme is fire, and the ripple star segment is the greatest shit ever and should be made into a boss theme on it's own

I decided to unfriend everyone as soon as the fight began, and I have to say, it’s the optimal way to experience the fight. What originally became simply running at him and mashing the button becomes a very difficult test of strategy and speed as you rarely have enough time to summon a mount, so you’re left with your basic brush attacks and your assortment of obscure enemies. You simply are unable to hit him while he does his shockwaves, and you have to be fast to not get hit while still damaging him.
I need to pick up Kirby 64 someday. The Final Boss in that game is looks like the most horrifying thing ever. Not to mention the cool unique ability combining.

Throughout my entire play through as Adeline I was hoping that Zero Two would play. My dream came true, and miracle matter being added was a sweet addition.
I like how throughout the medley on occasion Morpho Knight's theme still kind of blends in, even if just with the beat. Overall this is just incredible!

On the one hand, the fury of Miracle Matter's theme fills us with as much energy as the mad demon angel from space had anger for the ignorant universe, but the calmer theme of Zero 2 shows us that Zero took death as a learning experience and is willing to grow from that and challenge us once again with a more refined form.
Some spoilers ahead so why not play as the DLC characters' in Guest Star ???? Allies Go mode first? That's it... that's your warning, baby, so don't get mad as I NERD OUT DOWN BELOW!!!!! So the Hyper Zone background (in HD!) got represented in the floor of the final 3 bosses of the Guest Star ???? Allies Go mode for the wave 1 DLC characters and NOW we get the background of Dark Star during the 02 battle (once again in HD!) represented in the floor for all the wave 2 DLC characters and DAMN I hope they decide to end this DLC spree with a bang!!! It really seems like they're hinting toward some big revival of 0 with maybe a 03 incarnation and I wonder if they'll add a new "true" final boss to the end of everything that may shed some light onto Nova, Dark Matter, 0, Halcandra/Magalor, Hyness, and-- holy crap there's too much we don't know in this series! 1:22 is when Ripple Star theme starts! It sounds so beautiful!
On the one hand, the fury of Miracle Matter's theme fills us with as much energy as the mad demon angel from space had anger for the ignorant universe, but the calmer theme of Zero 2 shows us that Zero took death as a learning experience and is willing to grow from that and challenge us once again with a more refined form.
Some spoilers ahead so why not play as the DLC characters' in Guest Star ???? Allies Go mode first?

So the Hyper Zone background (in HD!) got represented in the floor of the final 3 bosses of the Guest Star ???? Allies Go mode for the wave 1 DLC characters and NOW we get the background of Dark Star during the 02 battle (once again in HD!) represented in the floor for all the wave 2 DLC characters and DAMN I hope they decide to end this DLC spree with a bang!!! It really seems like they're hinting toward some big revival of 0 with maybe a 03 incarnation and I wonder if they'll add a new "true" final boss to the end of everything that may shed some light onto Nova, Dark Matter, 0, Halcandra/Magalor, Hyness, and-- holy crap there's too much we don't know in this series! And beyond all that, all I can wonder about is... WHY DO I CARE SO MUCH ABOUT KIRBY LORE AND WHY DO I FIND IT SO FASCINATING!?!?! It's stupid! I should be nerding out over something more serious like what the end of Metriod Samus Returns implied!
Kirby is a great series folks. I love it.
This ist pretty much near the true. Only Zero 3 ist Missing. But its mostly confirmt that Void is the origin of all good and evil in the Kirby universe.
The funny thing is, most players will never hear the miracle matter part due to how easy it is to beat Morpho knight at this point in the game.
