Void is technically you considering it carries on one of your attacks. It's also your master, Zero's grandpa considering Void was labelled as the "progenitor of darkness" :)
By that logic, Sectonia is Marx. Also, Zan Partizanne is Star Dream, who is also Marx. And Drawcia is Marx, who is Zan because of their laser attacks. Grand Doomer is Magolor because of their shields, and the Lor Starcutter is Kabula. Phan Phan is Whispy Woods, who’s also King Golem. King Golem is made of rocks, therefore he’s Grand Doomer. Magolor is Marx because of their master sparks. I can go on if you want, but by your logic every Kirby boss to ever exist is Marx.
Miracle Matter is really really strong when you think about it.
It can only be hurt by itself, and it can be whatever it wants. Meaning, if you can't copy abilities or throw abilities back out, Miracle Matter is completely invincible.

My comment doesn't show up for some reason because of copy/paste so I have to type all this "lore". (I'm not good at making one, feel free to change anything you want.)
Miracle Malware is an entity that corrupted Star Dream's database, but due to absorbing Haltmann's mind, it managed to get all it's data back once. The entity was first discovered in a heart-shaped planet, Ripple Star. Haltmann picked up pieces of an icosahedron one by one as if it exploded. Haltmann managed to turn it into a malicious malware and stored it within the files of the malevolent computer. Without knowing the consequences, the entity chipped away Star Dream's data, as a result, it received unusual abilities, such as turning into a flask filled with chemicals, or even turning into a "mirror". After the defeat of a certain clone, Star Dream knew the risks of summoning this malware, the computer projects a screen and forcefully shutting itself down. After a while, it successfully rebooted, in which it projected the same screen. The only difference is that the screen has an image of a white icosahedron.

Thanks to Haltmann and Star Dream's help, Miracle Malware received unusual abilities. Mirror, Jet and Sword are one of the unusual abilities. It is uncertain if it's just a replica or the actual one. Miracle Malware can turn into a mirror that set foot on Pop Star and cause trouble, known as the "Amazing Mirror", which allows it to deflect any attacks and such. The Sword form is based on a weapon Kirby used to defeat a certain enemy after it caused trouble, known as the "Rainbow Sword", the malware had data of Sword_Master.exe, but instead used the style of an enemy from Rock Star. Lastly, the Jet form isn't really a special ability but still quite dangerous. The malware hacked onto the Jet Mode of the Robobot Armor and stole the data, though it didn't really have any harmful intentions on Kirby.
Using a combination of data collected on Kirby’s Robobot Armor and Kirby himself, this clone has been upgraded with a variety of new abilities to mimic. However, due to its mysterious connection to Dark Matter, it hasn’t reached its full potential yet. It can only be harmed by the ability it’s currently using, so stay on your toes and be prepared for anything!

Honestly this theme fits so well with Robobot's themes, a mechanical Miracle Matter would've made for a great True Arena exclusive boss, not even the Final Boss but like perhaps a final challenge before the Heart of Nova.
I finally beat nova EX in true arena and I was celebrating and then it went to the heart of nova and I said "are you fucking kidding me?" Now I have to memorize it's attacks

Honestly, that's why I'm not a big fan of the Miracle Matter fight. You can not use copy abilities. You HAVE to star spit. It's cool seeing him use your own abilities, but what does that mean when YOU can't use your own abilities? I would have liked it a lot more if his transformations lasted longer letting you have ability fights!
Can u imagine how badass it would be if after defeating dark matter clone, it does the usual deformation animation but then stops *right* as its about to explode, Rapidly starts reforming and *BOOM* miracle matter clone appears! The background turns into its boss room from 64 and this theme immediately starts blaring as it relentlessly starts attacking with revamped moves.

@@Magic_Ice i mean, don't bring back the ability weakness thing, that was dumb anyways since it was ALL abilities, and not every ability it had is in PR iirc (I don't think needle is in the game) so they'd either need to do new abilities for that system, or bring the fight back with some new stuff, but it takes EXTRA damage from the same ability, since now adays they don't want you to have to completely discard abilities you like fo rbosses

jrpludacrous I honestly think that Kirby 64 SUCKS in most parts. It had a huge potential, but at the end it didn't have what any other kirby games (mostly) had. I think is a terrible overrated game. And you know what? I think that's exactly the reason why it deserves to be remaked, not because it was a good game, but because it's a very good concept with too much potential, and with the technical capabilities of nowadays, it would make an EXCELLENT game, and probably one of the best (if not the best one) Kirby games in all times.

Clown: A balloon. It'll try to pick Kirby up with its string and carry him away, damaging him.
Bell: A tambourine. It'll follow Kirby around, creating damaging sound waves.
Leaf: A black hole (very tornado-like) that inhales leaves (but not Kirby) that cut him.
Beetle: A ladybug that sprouts horns once it gets near Kirby.
I find Miracle Matter intriguing because we have absolutely no idea what his deal is. Thanks to Star Allies we can infer that Zero/02 is an evil reincarnation of Void Termina, but Miracle Matter's got nothing. Was he a decoy created by 02 to throw Kirby off his trail? Could he have been an attempt at a 03 that could counter Kirby with copy abilities of his own? Or was he some kind of weird machine? I hope he shows back up again so we can clarify things a bit with some good old fashioned pause screen lore.
I once heard someone say that Miracle Matter is 02 in an undeveleoped form (like an infant).
Considering the crystaline shape, I’d say Miracle Matter was Ripple Star’s guardian Void-ling, but was corrupted by Dark Matter.
Perhaps Miracle Matter's capacity to wield copy abilities is a parallel to Kirby's?

I've always kind of assumed Miracle Matter was just another one of the many forms of Dark Matter, like Mariel and other dark matter-based enemies.
It's a good thing Star Dream didn't bring back Miracle Matter or 02, or they'd all be fucked. Moreso than with Galactic Knight.
Part of me thinks that Galacta Knight would OHKO them both like he did with Star Dream in a fight. GK is 2 OP 4 me.

The clanging at certain segments seems really fitting, considering the possibility of what a mechanized Miracle Matter would be like.

Look at the bright side, the fact that so many people think this remix is actually from Planet Robobot speaks a lot about the quality of the remix, I too thought it was from the actual game till I read the title Lol, its a job well done.
I'm going to be honest -- I thought the title was just being informative. Like you were saying, "this song first showed up in Kirby 64 before it got remixed for Planet Robobot." IMO the easiest way to stop the confusion is to either put "FAN REMIX" in the title, or get rid of all the Robobot stuff and replace the image with a still of Miracle Matter.
Personally, if something is so good that people think it's _official,_ you should take it as a compliment, not an insult.
I gotta agree here, but at least put it in the description, since True Dark Matter got an OFFICIAL remix in Robobot. Amazing fricking work, though.

I usually don’t like remixes, but this one is a huge exception
I can listen to almost any version or remix of this battle theme indefinitely and not get annoyed. IT'S SO GOOD!
To avoid that issue where you can only attack with the matching ability to deal any damage, effectively ruining any arena run, perhaps Miracle Matter’s battle could be similar to Pix. You could still deal damage with any ability, but if you used the ability that matched it would deal greater damage. This could allow players to use any ability they wish while simultaneously allowing the strategy of constantly swapping abilities.
Yeah, but it would only be a thing for the true arena, like how magolor's super ability phase is skipped in the true arena

My idea would be this: even if you don't have the ability it's using, you can still redirect an attack back at it or cause it to hurt itself with it's own attack, stunning it and bringing it into it's default form. While stunned, it can be damaged by anything.
in star allies, drop stars can be colored and will give abilities. miracle matter could leave colored drop stars and be vulnerable against those.
Or just force your ability off like magolor does and give it back after the arena fight

Yep, doing good thanks! Done some Kirby one-shots recently to get back in the writing phase now I've got past the really heavy bit of my Masters. Hoping to start writing the next way long overdue chapter to the Boo story once I've finished my placement.
Let's take the hardest boss in EVERY Kirby game crank them up to soul and make Kirby fight them all in one seating no break no recovery items no abilities final destination and put this theme in the background who agrees?

Actually, since the whole gimmick of Miracle Matter was using its own Copy Abilities, this theme could be used for a Shadow Kirby boss fight where he uses different moves from multiple abilities each phase.

I saw a comment saying that this fight would be the final boss of a Dededetour mode for Planet Robobot. So I made the perfectly rational descision to think up entirely new dialogue for Dedede's pause screen description, dialogue for Star Dream, a pause screen description for Miracle Matter Clone, and put all of it in a reply to that original comment from seven years ago. Afterwards, I made the equally rational decision to take screenshots of my reply, write each of them down into this comment, and then post it. This was the result.

That's not easy to do either. Some remixes get the timbres of intent (original mood/impressions) lost in translation (not counting genre changes of course.) This is super well made.
I love how it sounds similar to the original N64 version, but it still has the Metallic, industrial feel to it.
If you removed the whole "only vulnerable to the current ability it's using" thing so it'd be good for the arenas, it'd make a pretty damn good fight to repeat in a future Kirby game.
It could have all of it's attacks from the original until it reaches half health, then it could start using combo abilities to mix it up, like spark/stone and bomb/needle. It'd be an excellent tribute to the game it came from.

The "only vulnerable to the current ability it's using" is kinda the whole point if you were to ask me.
It's a change that'd need to be made, otherwise 'completing the whole arena with the same ability' would become impossible. The only other way to remedy it would be to make it so it doesn't appear in the arena.
The novelty of them using the abilities Kirby can use would still be there though.

I don't think it is that much better compared to the original. But not in a bad way, it is just what you would expect from a remaster, quality is better and feels more clear, so very good job.

Honestly, this is pretty in-line with the remixes of the N64 boss battle and Dark Star themes that are actually in the game. Could totally have been in it and wouldn't sound out of place

This was so good, I really and truly thought this was real. I was so excited for a rematch with Miracle Matter with robot powers....
That said, it's an awesome remix! It genuinely sounds professional and it really did fit the style of the 3ds Kirby games. And those drums and bass bumps are so lovely.
Man, the potential for this to have played with the 3D perspective would have been amazing, even if it'd only use Cutter, Needle, Fire, Ice, Spark, Bomb, and Stone.
Neutral form would hang out in the middle of the screen. Every form can be harmed by any copy ability or projectile, and we can hand wave this by quoting on how Star Dream could only analyze a small part of Dark Matter, thus not knowing how Miracle Matter's copy ability protection works.
Cutter would have it swoop in from the background, homing in on the player's last position. This would happen three times.
Needle would try to impale the player's last position, piercing the screen if it misses, cracking it until it is done with another form.
Fire would have it either spew out flames horizontally, with three different heights, or vertically, with five different cuts. The screen will be burnt in that line, again, clearing after it is done with another form.
Ice would have it swirl to the foreground and then to the background, happening twice.
Spark would bounce the balls of plasma to the screen, which would then richoet between the background and the screen until they disappear.
Bomb would happen the same way as Spark.
Stone would split out its boulders horizontally, and they would all roll towards the screen and back towards the background. This would happen twice.
That is what I have so far.
I can imagine a remaster fight for this. Its an aerial rail shooter, inside a tessaract like void. Miracle Matter shifts and morphs, spins, fires lasers. When an eye panel is destroyed, it shatters like glass and blood sprays out with a scream. The fight intensifies as more eyes are shattered. When beaten, it collapses in on itself and becomes a black hole to the new Hyper Zone where Zero2 is fought.
We need to get more Kirby: Planet Robobot remixes from you! This is one of the best! Keep it up, and I hope you make more like this! :3
I just realized something that would be really cool. What if during the star dream battle in the true arena, you realize that star dream is using abilities based on yours, you beat him and instead of fighting that heart thing when you go inside it''s revealed that the main ai is miracle matter and you fight it with this theme playing. Can't stop wishing for it to be real now that i've thought of it
or maybe the heart of nova phase is the same, but after that it's revealed that star dream was being corrupted by zero two, and it possessed haltmann because Zero two was too weak to take complete control of star dream and could only use some basic functions. after that, it sends out miracle matter.
the description would be "controling star dream, Zero Two seeks to end the universe. it has sent out a familiar foe to deal with you as it trys to reactivate star dream and grant it's wish of total destruction, if you take too long, the wish will be granted". it would be a timed battle. after that phase, you battle the heart as normal. the description is different though, saying "now that Zero two has risen in strength, it is now able to control the heart on it's own. since it has no more need for haltmann, *the part after this is the same as the normal fight"*
in the main game it would hint at the fact that zero two was alive. when haltmann gets possessed, he would make the same face that the queen did in kirby 64's bad ending. at the end of the credits, it would say "The End?" for the normal game, then show the picture of haltmann making the possession face. if you take too long in the Clockwork star phase, you would just get a game over and Star Dream's eyes would turn red. after the heart was beaten, the description would change to
"zero two was in control the whole time. after the encounter on dark star, zero two fled to a nearby galaxy and inhabited a giant ship. it remained in stasis for many years, healing. one day, it woke up near a familiar planet. it knew who lived there, and it seeked revenge. it wanted to return the universe to *zero.* it then realized that it had inhabited a clockwork star. it was still weak, it needed another being. it waited for the perfect moment and then took haltmann's soul and star dream became sentient. star dream was driven by zero two's desire and took off to destroy the universe"
that 2nd paragraph changed some parts of the lore so having zero two would make sense. there are still some minor plotholes but i'm not the best writer in the world.
star dream:well done,new admin. you managed to beat my clone of a queen. now for your next test. this thing is skilled at using copy abilities. when kirby fought it,it could only be damaged by its current copy ability. however,kirby had the ability to mix abilities at the time. now you will fight a clone. oh,wait,this clone can only be damaged by its current copy ability,so you'll need to take off your mask for this fight. oh,and you can't inahle when you're holding your sword,so i'll keep your sword unless this clone is its sword form. *summons miracle malware*

This remix is totally sweet! In the future, when Kirby: Planet Robobot gets a remake (and it will), Miracle Matter Clone should definitely be a new boss in it! I agree with Renterain that it should be one last obstacle before taking on Nova’s Heart in the True Arena! How about you?

I also really want Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Kirby: Squeak Squad and Kirby: Triple Deluxe to get remakes too! Triple Deluxe definitely needs to be remade before Planet Robobot, though! Don’t you agree?

Unfortunately, I’m still working on describing the gameplay for my second game that I put into my letter, but when my letter is finally completed, I know that it’ll all be worth it! My concept for a miracle Matter clone boss fight and Dialogue:
*After beating sectonia clone*
"Impressive, you're really strong, but after all, I didn't expect anything less from the new admin, although there's still one final Test of your skill you have to go through, you will now fight a being whose mere existence itself is a miracle, a slice that came originally from the matter most dark, which became anything but that, you will now fight a master of different elements,powers and weapons, do you think you're gonna be able to succeed? Sadly, there's not a rewind functionality planned in the admin program.
*Summons the glass jar containing that purple goo kinda thingy that clones are made out of*
As soon as it breaks and miracle Matter appears all of his eyes look around confused, perhaps Searching a victim, until one eye looks at meta Knight and suddenly all other eyes snap to look at meta Knight and the he emits that typical roaring noise that Kirby bosses always do for some reason.
In this fight I think we're gonna give miracle Matter some new attacks, and since meta Knight can't have abilities I think just for fun, let's re give him all of his old attacks, except they're all gonna be combined, for example, remember that fire eruption the original miracle Matter had? Well let's combine that with the ice ability, basically miracle Matter splits into two parts one giant eye is the fire eruption, and the other are the ice triangles and the giant ice cube, the fire eye flies around and as soon as it stops after a few seconds the fire will erupt, and while you dodge this the ice triangles also fly around except they follow you around, and the way you hit it is by either hitting them with your sword or directing the ice cube under the fire eye so that it attacks itself, something like this could play out with all other combinations like cutter + rock, the cutter thingy that flew around in Kirby 64 now flies only in the air and never touches the ground, meanwhile the rock is now made smaller than it was in the original fight and the pieces that fly out of it are also made smaller but when they roll, you can't attack them, (and they also come back together after a while and reform the bigger rock) so you have to use the dodging ability to dodge them and as soon as they stop you can attack them, of course you could fly but the cutting eye is there and it moves faster than in Kirby 64, although if you avoid the rock for long enough the cutter will get inpatient and starts trying to Twomping (dropping itself on your head) you and if it hits the rock it deals damage to the rock and remains stunned for a while. Now I could go on and on about the combinations but honestly I'm just gonna move on the new attacks because I totally didn't run out of ideas for the combinations, a something you I would like to see would be a water ability that first goes upwards off screen and starts dropped droplets which hurt you because game logic and then when it comes together it start trying to splat water on you and then if you avoid that attack you can attack it, it also splits into two big water bubbles for an extra challenge, something that would also be cool would be mirror, miracle Matter again flies around the screen and occasionally splits in two and the two matters can damage you, at first it only does that once, then after a while it starts going crazy and splitting multiple times before remaining stunned for a while, it also occasionally flies in the foreground and background and sends after images of himself in the fight arena and if you destroy them they will break into glass shards and damage miracle Matter, and if you break all of them miracle Matter will fly around in either the background or foreground and spit in 2 except one half is in the fight arena and the other is in the background so it's kinda like those hazards that launch you towards the screen or outside the screen. Again I could go on and on with more abilities but I'm just gonna skip ahead to the dialogue that will then lead in the star dream fight because I totally did not run out of ideas again,
"Impressive, you've even defeated the master of various elements,powers and weapons, the original admin was not able to defeat him, this is why you have proven yourself worthy to attend the final challenge. You will now fight a Warrior that was sealed away because his power was too great, he may put the galaxy in danger or at the very least destroy a few nearby planets, but I can assure you it will be worth it, this time I'm not cloning anything, if anything goes wrong this action can't be undone, hope you're ready"

They should have done Marx.
Only thing is that they were specifically going for sword users that weren't just Meta Knight clones. Dark Matter Swordsman and Queen Sectonia are the only actual non-puffball knight sword user bosses in the series.
It sounds like there are voices in the background saying "thre-e-e-e one thre-e-e-e one thre-e-e-e one one one" and it reminds me of Colress' theme from Pokemon.
"A Miraculous Return" or "The Return of a Miracle" sounds like cool names for this

Honestly even it's made with the Star Allies Engine I would love to see a Remake of Crystal Shards on the Switch!
They could include newer abilities in the remake, an Arena and True Arena and I would cry blood of happiness for a Soul form of Zero Two!
Hopefully with a more interesting Zero 2 fight that's more akin to, say, Star Dream or Void Termina's shooter segments. Zero 2's original fight really only has one pattern and it's super easy to avoid.
We got Kirby 64 on the Switch now, so hmmm. And there's already Boss Endurance in 64, which is the closest we got to an Arena on the game.

every time i've come back to relisten to this, it disappoints me- only because Pix made a return as Holo Defense API. some form of a Miracle Matter boss fight would've been way better, even a holographic version would've been sweet.
