Braille... 1st Class :) And there is no better performance boost than to "remove weight". A 3000 Lb car with 300 HP will lose to a 1500 Lb car with 150 HP. Thanks for the video.
Sounds so good on startup! And the IS never starts up the first time after changing a battery, so that’s normal. Always the second time, if the battery is good of course lol. The day I got my car the battery died 🤣 found that out quick lol
Ultra lightweight lithium-ion batteries from Antigravity Batteries are the way to go, dude. I'm using their ATX20-RS motorcycle battery in my Honda Prelude. :) It weighs only 3.8 lbs, puts out 680 cranking amps. AND it comes with the "restart" feature (wireless jump-starting) so you never stranded with a dead battery. Mine is about a year old, works like a charm, starts my car better than the full sized 40 lbs. lead-acid battery I had before.
Sanin Mulaomerovic Hey I’m looking into putting one of the motorcycle batteries into my car as well. The actual automotive batteries Antigravity offer are super expensive. So my question was how to hook up car terminals to the motorcycle terminals? Sorry if it’s a dumb question!
@@Hendizel, if you have a 6 or 8 cyl engine, you might have to go with the ATX20-HD or ATX30-HD because the restart feature on motorcycle batteries doesn't work well with more demanding cars. Non-restart is better in that case, if I understood their tech correctly.
Cool video. I recently ordered an antigravity lithium 13 lbs battery (group 48 H6R) with restart technology (built in jump starter) for my RCF carbon/TVD. I will be replacing it myself. For anyone interested, I will be putting the weight reduction on my channel in the next few weeks.
WeaponsFree86 just a heads up I keep mine on a battery tender since I don't drive it often otherwise it would drain itself after maybe 2 weeks but that's expected with the lower capacity
@@jaimehurtado356 I have 1 for my 11lbs FRS battery and one for my supra. The FRS charger is specifically for AGM batteries so I would definitely use that on the F
GTDREAMER doing great! Just have to be careful to not leave any lights on but that hasn’t been an issue for me. The only time I have needed a jump is when leaving the car sitting for more then two weeks but they sell a battery tender for that
Any reliability issues for a daily ISF using this battery? Some reviews mention they attach a charger during rest. I may drive it daily and cold months
I don’t have any issues I can leave it sitting for a week and starts right up haven’t tried it any longer then that. And I’m not sure how much cold weather effects it sorry
David Chaves iv never tried optima but when looking they didn’t make a battery that was strong enough but still light enough for V8s. The key is to get the lightest battery but that can put out enough power for your vehicle
@projectf80, if you don't mind answering got a question on this battery? After 1 year of ownership how is the battery handling and is it still running well/have you had to replace it. Appreciate any info you can give, as I'm considering it for my daily driver (many mods on my miata and trying to save even more weight but be safe)
I think it will work well with your Miata, the V8 draws a lot of power on start up and it would die on me if I didn’t drive the car for a few days so I had to have it on a battery charger in between days I didn’t drive it, it never left me stranded anywhere tho. It would only die in my garage after like 3 days just make sure not to leave any accessories or lights on for to long with the engine off
@@jaimehurtado356 Sounds great, good to hear the feedback. Again thanks for this and hey have a great holiday weekend. I know I'll be buying some mods here today!

Thanks for sharing, 20 lbs weight reduction is great 👍, but I hope the battery can last for at least 4 years.
That sparking is because you put the positive on last. Negative should always be first one off, last one on.
Man your car sounds strong! I didn't know Lexus made cars that sounded like that! Which year Lexus is that?
I wish it were$130.00 😊 I would get two! 💯
Hell yeah thanks for the info!
how was this holding up?
It came shipped from TireRack? lol the box
More like drunk Focus!!! How is the battery going? Do you trickle charge it at all?
Did u have to buy the top posts

My braille keeps discharging after not being driven for a few weeks. Anyone have a solution to this?
Get a battery tender

Damn. 2 years? Might as well grab a standard battery for a little cheaper and have it last 3+
@@PiterStreak yup going back to stock battery with better warranty.
weight reduction in a heavy luxury car, seems redundant
"Redundant"? I would not think of it as repetitive, maybe superficial?
