hmmm..Might be something I may need to look into. Crazy because when I was younger, all I wanted (and eventually got) was a Optima Red Top Battery, which probably weighed like 50lbs lol. Now, its all about getting lighter.

That, lighter wheels along with getting rid of their rear seat.
Its funny because the frony seat is heavier in alot of cars, i tell them and they either say " no way" or give me the i am from mars look 😤
All easy ways to knock weight of.
The wheels are pricey and if they buy them through me i give them the battery for cost.
We have 4 lightening packages. We have one that will save guys/girls around 460 pounds on a charger or challenger. They love it.
Say its the mod that gets them to beat zl1 and Gt by a good amount. Of course
Hellcats and widebodys dont need the help but they like ir for their slips.
Then they want more. I tell them, take the engine out.

The packages were to do exactly that. They are called mopar packages. I use the lightest mopars from the 60s and 70s as the names along with 1-4.

Brian Bos .. I actually wondered the same thing and asked Nick at Arc Angel about that and he told me it should sustain plenty of cranking Amps .. i wouldn’t let it sit for a month in -10 😂 but you shouldn’t have any issues 👍🏻
@@RacerX9 do you know the specs of the replacement bolt? If not, can you take it out and measure it?
I will have to check.. I don’t know off hand. Luis managed to find just the right one at the shop
@@RacerX9 Doesn't lose charge so doesn't matter how long it sits BUT if it is -10 over night and has probs just turn on the lights and let it sit for a minute or two to "wake" it up.

Alright. Been researching for hours after seeing this vid. The battery is lifepo4 which never burst into flames. The 94r size is virtually identical to H7. The weight of the H7 is 45 lbs. The archangel battery is 18. So i ordered 1. How long for delivery?
You got it my friend.. yes I got confirmation that it was the 94R.. not sure why I thought it was the 40R. When I weighed it, it was just shy of 17 pounds so it’s a big weight savings. Sorry to send you on a wild goose chase
Definitely interested to see how this works out for you especially if it is lithium ion. Like the idea of the weight savings but something about lithium ion batteries scare the crap out of me. After issues that have been had by big names like Boeing, Tesla and Samsung the technology just still seems not fully mature to me. Of course in most of those cases I believe the issues were caused by unsafe charging practices.
coolwrld302 .. I agree with you. I was skeptical at first but then they made some additional revisions to the design and improved them even more. Demonology has been running the first version for many months and it’s been flawless.. so hopefully it’s going to work great 👍🏻
@@RacerX9 After you have been running it for a while you should do a follow up with your thoughts. Of course the interesting aspect is there is fine balancing act with removing weight but not removing to much in the back end from a traction perspective. I know you run a dedicated drag racing setup on your Hellcat so probably not as impactful for you but I'm still doing DRs on my factory 20 inch rims on my Hellcat and I feel like removing to much weight from the trunk might adversely affect launching.
We actually talked about that as well.. I think at the track it will help but if we’re doing no prep it may actually have an adverse affect.. so we would have to add weight .. seems crazy right.. good idea on the follow up video. I will try to keep everyone posted
You're right. I used to work at a company built batteries with lithium. We had to keep an eye on them because they would just burst in flames for know reason.Ever sense then I've always been scared of that stuff.
Hopefully these are well engineered and perfectly safe.. no issues reported to date 👍🏻

SloMango .. absolutely. It should work just like any other battery but much lighter. Demonology has been daily driving his now for at 3-4 months. I asked him how he liked it before I got mine 😉

RacerX ok great I’m building a 448 stroker engine for my Scat pack. I need a good light weight battery to save on weight. I already have Braum Racing seats they only weight 25lbs each and they look great and feel super comfortable
