Liefeld sells his characters and is still getting those royalty checks. You gotta admit that he knows how to play the industry. A dark and gritty reboot of Glory is pretty shocking though 😱
I know Chuck Gibson knows this already but Wildstorm also had a Superman ripoff, Mr. Majestic. I found it funny that they named him after a Charles Bronson movie 😂
@@MrDman21yeah, if you read his TMNT you’d steer clear likely. He is a good writer, but he is a writer that should be on his own book and not something has commercial as TMNT.
I don't have these issues, but I think I spied a collected edition a few years back. I've been a fan of female bodybuilders since the late '70s, so women like this don't bother me. I'm not so forgiving of the tremendous changes to the storyline, though. That sword of hers is very cool.
Back in the 90s there was a female bodybuilder named Cori Everson. She was buffed yet still looked feminine. I think that's what the artist was going for with Glory, the problem is this comic came out in 2012 which was pretty much when the SJWs invaded the industry. The artwork is decent here but as the years went by the art at Marvel and DC would get worse. It took a while for Image to get worse but they did

Muscle Mommy Supremacy gains another adept. Welcome aboard, buddy.
The art style is good. I love those horizontal panels, they make the comic look more cinematic.
she got that goku neck
😄
She probably worked it a lot to get it to that point. _giggidy_
😂😂😂 spot on Kalifa template

the new Glory was a pretty incredible run, issue 33 is one of my all-time favorite comic covers, it's super dope
Front and center of that secret lair splash page is a Hell Barron skull, from OG Doom.
Also highly recommend Sophie (that's what she goes by now) Campbell's Wet Moon. And she's done a ton of TMNT comics as well.
I've seen some of her art. It's decent but not my cup of tea.

Love this run!
I like the ending to issue #24. Reminds me of Kill Bill.

Corey Everson was gorgeous. I remember her from the Adventures of Hercules 🤩
@@ComicBookMuscle Yep, she was in Double Impact with Jean Claude Van Damme too.
She's at least 6'10"
It is great
