You wear some great looking gear - it'd be interesting to get an overview at some point, and maybe some links... Excellent vids, keep up the good work. Atb.
@@barlysandadventures6666 It's a very useful app the desktop version is great for planning routes. Hopefully the hat will show another appearance soon. Thanks for commenting.
Hi , Ordnance Survey maps - on the app seem to have changed since this video was made , iam finding it far more complex to use, new or old version , what do you make of it
Hi Mark, the best way i have found to use it is to plot a route on your desktop then favourite that route. It then becomes available in the app. I make sure i have the map downloaded for when i'm out and about and tend to just use the app for finding my location. Hope that helps.
I switched to OS maps after another brilliant app I used started to charge for its use and had ads all over it ....I find it generally good...sometimes marked paths aren't there, many a time I'm tracking through swampy, long grass, gorse, Heather getting soaked ...as a quick hand non map way of navigation it's useable

Can you get a bearing from A to B from the app so that you can apply it to a compass?
@@simonmayo4618 I'm not sure if you can.

@@outdoorgaz5 Yes, would be nice to have a White New Years.
Not always about the miles you put in, just getting out into the fresh air always recharges the batteries, 👍
Definitely agree. Merry Christmas

I like the desktop part of planning routes which makes it much easier.
Is this app free ?
This app isn’t good, the topographic decides to just turn off randomly I got lost in a field for 3 hours because of it stopping working
