Nice vid man. I followed along nicely. One thing I was looking for - future topic(?), is using the mobile app while out on a walk. In particular I have problems understanding which way the little pointer moves and why (current position)? Sometimes it goes down the map sometimes up and I get confused so end up walking 20 meters this way and that way to try and establish I'm going the right way! I'm guess I'm looking for google maps like when I'm in the car.

Hi Ian, thank you for watching and great to have you on my channel. Whilst using the OS app on route, have you tried tapping the target icon on bottom right of the app? That should bring you back to your gps location and arrow should subsequently point in the follow route direction. Try it.
I have done a video on the mobile app and perhaps you will pick up more tips here th-cam.com/video/yqhjU4pFSqs/w-d-xo.html If you can’t click on the link, just go to my TH-cam channel and the video will be there 😊
      Have a great weekend!

Hello Ian, I am having similar problem….. have you resolved the problem now? If so can you help?
Tried clicking on link, but only takes me to current video. Thanks

Tap the target icon to centre the pointer and direction. That should sort the problem.

Hi Shameer. I know where the resource is if ever I purchase the same app. I appreciate all the work you've put into the series. Take care buddy. Mark

Thank you, Mark 🙏 I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few months under lockdown creating my own routes in anticipation of when we can roam. Both for thru-hikes and bikepacking. I wanted to give others the same motivation and inspiration for what they too can look forward to when we have the freedom to roam. Yes, took a lot of work to put the series together, and I hope it inspires people ☺️ thanks again.
