UME stands for Military Emergency Unit, it's a branch of the army designed to aid local forces(firefighters, hospitals...) in case of a big disaster (forest fires, earthquakes, flooding). The personal is all soldiers and they are under military hierarchy, that's why they get Spanish army vehicles
EOD stands for explosive ordnance disposal

a good thing to do before a arma 3 mod review is to check what weapons the pylon can get on helies and planes in Eden

UME stands for Unidad Militar de Emergencias (Emergency Militar Unit), a part of the army dedicated to well, emergency stuff
A lot of WW2 US Navy Fighters had a deep blue top half and a grey/white bottom using the same rationale as the C-130s camo, as they were mainly fighting over water.

Yeah, this mod is pretty damn nice. The BAM isn't even a full sized frigate or destroyer but I feel like I could spend hours just playing in the ship and stuff like that.

The vamtac from the UME is from the firefighters from the army, (Unidad Militar de Emergencias), and yes, im from Spain ; )

What u said about arma 3 the 2035 setting and how u don’t like it that is literally how I feel I love the modern ww2 and Vietnam mods and that is 100 percent why I still play arma

16:51 the RAF did a similar thing in WW2 painting the bottom of the plane a different color
Camouflage isn't to make an object invisible it is to make the object harder to distinguish, some WW2 boats and ships did it to distort object detail, making it harder to aim for critical points. Same applies for face paint and body camouflage.
The winch works, you have to position the SVD at the right spot under the ship.
Arma 3 Vanilla USS Liberty got that lower boat function too

UME means "Unidad militar de emergencias" they intervene in floods, wildfires...
"Fuerza Aerea Española" means " Spanish Air Force" and SAR means " Servicio Aereo de Rescate" " Rescue Air Service". their function is the same as the "Search And Rescue" department.
On the spanish FFAA there is 3 branches for flying vehicles: FAME"("Fuerzas Aeromoviles del Ejercito de Tierra" " Aeromovile Forces of the Ground Army") , the attack and transport helicopters supporting the " Ejercito de Tierra " ( " Ground Army"), like some variants of the NH90, the Cougart, the Chinooks and the Tiger or Apaches. The "Ejercito del Aire"/ "Fuerzas Aereas Españolas" (" Air Army"/Spanish Air Force") which is the Air Force with those Hercules, some A400, the firefight planes like the CL-415/215 , Eurofighter, etc and the Armada , which has some variants of the NH90, those Harriers that will be changed for the F35 and many other helicopters. To the Armada belong the "Infanteria de Marina", basically the Spanish Marines, which has some of those ground vehicles and many others not included on the mod.
The UME belongs to the Ground Army , there is multiple post telling you what it means, and it is noticed for being the unit on the whole army with the better public opinion. The public opinion for the Spanish FFAA tend to be neutral , the Spanish society just act avoiding any kind of opinion about the FFAA. They know that they're "the good guys" and nothing else but with the UME is different. Helping in every case of big disasters or going to another countries with those problems the public opinion easily recognized those soldiers serving on the UME pretty easily (Their uniform is Black with white strips and yellow berets).
Maybe you could review the 'British Armed Forces Faction All In One'. Haven't looked at it myself yet but I'd like to see your opinion if you can? btw love the vids

Does this mod need any other mods?
I have installed it and placed the boat in a map, but when I play the mission, hardly anything works.
There's no boats stored on the sides to be lowered down (do they need setting up in eden..if so how?)
Can't mount or fire the big machine gun cannons.
Can mount one or two of the MG's but they don't actually fire.
How do you get this mod to work properly?

The mod is very balanced in all terms, even the helicopters are more realistic in terms of how they fly compared with other mods.

Yo I am kinda new since I only got like 30 hours on Arma 3 most of which is on single player and multiplayer but one thing that puzzles me is that I don't know how to acctually access these mods after I download them off the steam workshop so can anyone tell me how? I downloaded this and some other mods but I don't know how to spawn vehicles or anything from the mods.
I've never played the game but my guess is you have to play a beta build of the game, right click on the game in your library, select properties, then go to the betas tab and from the drop down menu choose a beta build of the game, you shouldn't need a code, then just launch the game and you should be able to access the mods. that's just my guess though.

The name for the boat is annoying me, because in the Royal Canadian Navy we call that one a RHIB, and a zodiac is our tiny little boat, while a hurricane is the in between. Im too picky for this mod lololol

SAR is not search and rescue, its spanish air force, fuerza aerea espanola is spanish air force in spanish. I'm dont even speak spanish and I figured it out

We have a house in Spain and the vamtac I know the police use it. The state police not the local. When in a large city. I know Marbella and puerto banus use it there
