ArmA 3 Tutorial/Showcase: USS Liberty (Encore Update)

- NOTE: The sidebays are used for boat ramps - aka launching smaller attack boats out of. I was unaware of this, and feel like a bit of a tit, but it's a rather minor feature to bring up that it's not worth re-recording and rendering for. Essentially an attack boat loaded on a boat ramp in the side can be launched out of the USS Liberty to drop in the water beside it.
Some of the keys used are below:
R = Choose next Target
T = Choose Target currently in crosshairs
Ctrl+R = Enable/Disable active Radar
[ or ] = Switch either mini-display to Nav, Sensor, drone Cam, etc.
The Artillery Computer used via the scroll menu.
And a UAV Terminal, used via the scroll menu, to control the various static pieces.
Well hey, I wanted to learn how to use these things, so I taught myself and the best way to do that is to teach others, turns out.

If you put a boat rack in the side hangars, you can put assault boats in the racks and you can deploy them and also reload with more boats.
How's that work. They only blow up for me
Put boat racks within the rectangles shown on the floor, spawn a boat and place it on the rack (it will position itself automatically) then hop in the boats driver see and you will have a "unload boat/vehicle" option within your scroll menu, it will spawn the boat in the water next to the ship and when you return to the ship after driving away, there will be a "retreive vehicle" (hold space type) of scroll option.
Im pretty sure that the weapons with the extreme range are made so people can make larger modded maps.

Was making a mission where I had two destroyers and a carrier parked in the corner of the map, fully armed. Turns out I underestimated the power of their weapons systems, because just a minute after spawning, they wiped out every enemy aircraft on the map. Had to restrict them to the main cannon, VLS, and the MG.
Does anyone know how to spawn this is thing in with weapons/turrets? The only one i can spawn in doesnt have them. I did it ages ago and cant for the life of me remember how, i only have access to the static version.

Yeah there's ai in the editor and in campaign and probably in multiplayer (haven't played multiplayer)

I know I'm late to point out some corrections here, but what the hell. First correction is that you stated the wrong class of ship. You stated that the platform is a frigate. It's not, it's a destroyer. Second correction. The Praetorian 1C goes on the bow (front) of the ship, not the stern (back) of the ship. Third correction. In navies it is not referred to as a cannon, it's a gun (naval gun).
