    Vedanta is the final truth!
You shall not pass! (shouted Gandalf)
"One maya to rule them all, One Maya to find them,
One Maya to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."
😅😅 Love the talk of Ira. Jsut joking.

Cool more Blender render users here :) Render Layers and collections of reality.
Forget Maya it's all a big Blender!
We need a Blender Swami or Master. Could be a mindbending and texture unrwapping experience to here a Blender user talk Vedanta to other Blender users.
      LOL
Compositing shoudl be good brain training and stretching for Vedanta.

"God is and is not." (Upanishads)
What if you found yourself in heaven, but it wasn't what you expected, and you still felt out of place; would you try to raise some hell?
I'm not sure I could put this into words without generating more confusion. Please, pardon my clumsiness, as I try...
Basically, I see religion as the epitome of poetic license and "God" as a symbolic term for the highest reality, or the most real thing. [If you can find a more fitting word, go with it.]
And the only thing that is ultimately real is BEING; existence itself. The rest is temporary.
So long as we identify with the body and the personal self, or ego, and look for meaning in these things, we suffer.
Mystics, or enlightened people, are those who have ceased to identify with what is temporary.
They have actually dropped all pretension, all arrogance, and all sense of separateness, because they know themselves to be identical with existence itself.
I'm sorry if I don't know how to make this clearer, but, I believe it is a profound truth, which can only be hinted at.
The scriptures of the world have all done their best to drop as many hints as they could, to lead us to this realization. :)
"It is accomplished. Behold, the kingdom of heaven is upon you."

Who is it noticing the witness? The witness of the witness. Like Alan Watts says, it's like trying to catch a burglar who keeps going up to the next floor when you get to the floor he was on. And that's the game (for want of a better word) I guess.
However, it is conceivable to be able to reach the point of your true nature, our true nature. No witness is being noticed by a higher consciousness, there is just the pure consciousness that is us all and the witness of it all.
I have only done some online reading, I've read a bit of the Tibetan book of the dead and I've watched a whole lot of youtube videos! But I'd like to explore further if anyone has any pointers on what I can read or where I could go or who I could speak to?

Paramahamsa Yogananda would say: The Supreme Being (Brahman) was all there was in the beginning. So, he DID NOT create the world the way a carpenter for example would create a furniture by brining in some wood, using his tools to shape the wood into a furniture etc etc.
Brahman was all there in the beginning, without a beginning, without an end, without any form or dimensions. Sat-Chit-Ananda.
Part of that ever pervading Brahman BECAME THE UNIVERSE.

I have a question recently. I'm absolute consciousness, I'm Brahman. This ego I is a illusion. Who carries the karma and is trapped in reincarnation? Obviously it's not Brahman I. How could an illusion ego comes over and over with different body if it doesn't exit? I'm so confused.

Datings were done by Indologists with a bias.

this is simply theory of mind and it's a very poor quality philosophy class.

    • @jakjak9472
      @jakjak9472 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It is and it's not a theory. It is an attempt using language as a tool to describe as best as one can the nature of experience just as it is without mind's theories of what it is. If that's not the case, the mind just leaps at making therios about what it is making infinite continuity of self referential loop, mind trying to describe what the mind is which is bollocks cause mind is just an appearance, a useful fiction for the evolution of ours as the survival driven species. These are the rules of the game and seeing that is actually more beneficial for the game than some philosophies that have no grounding in life, being, just existence
