I am so glad to get the Bhagavad Gita explained in fairly simple terms. I had often heard of it's profound value, but never quite "got" it till listening to Ira's talk. I hope the followup lessons will appear on this channel, I have my pencil and notepad ready.

Excellent presentations of this difficult to understand teachings; on some of his chats he talks about some factors that the serious student must gather in order to maintain the awakening aspirations alive; in this particular point may somebody out there to suggest the best possible translations into english (and/or spanish) of the sacred text he mentioned, i.e. Upanishads, Baghavad Gita, and others? Thanks.

Life's Pilgrimage Through the Gita by Muni Narayana Prasad Swami is the best advaitic translation. The translation retains most of the important Sanskrit words and the Indian flavour is retained.

He recommends a version with the commentary of shankara included.
