    Hey Björn you can turn off the lane departure emergency warning and reduce lane assist sensitivity in the settings. That helps a bit. I drove 2400km to Denmark on the highway with X-Pilot on for 80% without any emergency tugs on my belt. Still the annoying beeping when lane changing and engaging/disengaging X-pilot.
    Also, the X-Pilot issues are less glaring in the Netherlands and Germany (on the highway) where there are simply less curves and no merges that break the road lines in a way that X-Pilot doesn't understand.
    Still, even with software version 0 (there was a first OTA update already) I would buy the car again in a heartbeat. Nothing else comes close for the a similar price.
    Also, last week Xpeng announced that they want NGP in Europe too by the end of 2024 on existing G9s. Basically, free Chinese FSD (if they can deliver). And they want to merge Chinese and European operating systems so you get to the cool Chinese features right away here too, hopefully. I just hope they do something with all the feedback they're getting from European customers and allow us to disable the bings and bongs and make X-Pilot work better on our roads.

      its a very impressive car. This fast charging option combined with a "affordable" price. I like it very much.

      They also need to start to actually deliver cars, like they currently aren't doing in Norway. It's pathetic and unprofessional so far...

    All most November and no snow in Geilo? Just came back from a trip Vancouver, BC to Calgary AB return in a Fremont build Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD. I installed Michelin Cross-climate 2; 235/R40-20 on Fastwheels EV01+ 20 Inch wheels and my average consumption during the cold trek Revelstoke BC to Calgary, AB with average temp of -13Deg.C. was 209watt per KM (with average speed 109km/hr, I am totally blown away even with 2 mountain passes over 1300meters and black ice and compact snow. Might be the reduced tire width I purposely selected for winter snow,Tesla rock in the Winter! Looks like the P9 also rocks for winter driving!

    What about Max cargo capacity? My neighbor cancelled a G9 reservation du to poor capacity of cargo. Perhaps something to include in the banabox test. Silly with a lot of space if you have poor cargo capacity in kilograms… love your videos! Greetings from Oslo Norway

      It's a fair issue, but do you really get checked enough for that in Norway to make it an issue?
      Here in the Netherlands you only get fined with more than 10% vehicle weight past the rated max weight. So that means an extra 250kg capacity on top of the normal load (low) capacity of around 400kg. The Dutch police think it's okay to be like 80% past max rated load capacity :P and it kinda makes sense on a superheavy car like this to have a higher tolerance.
      And also, you basically never even get checked by police for being overweight unless it's super obvious. And I don't think we have a higher accident rate or anything.

    • @Jajalaatmaar
      @Jajalaatmaar ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's fair. I don't really know. I'd like to see some testing. I'm just thinking, if the Dutch can get away with like going 80% overweight without it being enough of an issue for the police to fine you, doesn't that mean a heavy EV has more room for error by itself? On the other hand, that should be reflected in a higher weight capacity.
      I can imagine it's more of an issue in mountainous Scandinavian roads over Dutch flat highways. @@badbasic

      @Jajalaatmaar ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair, I'm thinking more of passenger load which is more spread throughout the car by default.@@badbasic

      @@badbasic tesla claims 800 but if you compare the banana box test G9 can fit more boxes while having 660.

    If we ignore the software related issues this car is almost perfect. Huawei has the best software in China hopefully Chinese EVs will be able to use Huawei software in the future.

    Another Great videofrom You. Seeing you towing a trailer makes me think of max weight a trailer for a vehicle as heavy as this - with an ordinary driver license? And how much with “trailer card”?

    • @kimekholm7178
      @kimekholm7178 ปีที่แล้ว

      BE “trailer” license allows for a 3.5t car + 3.5t trailer. Normal B license caps at 3.5t total weight.

    8:47 - 400V TN-nett for the win! 😏 pulling ~10 kw, how is the ‘nettleie’ stairs in your area? If it is Elvia it seems crazy cheap. ‘Telemark-nett’ is really expensive, trying to keep it below 10 kw (peak).

    It's a joke how many cars ship with poor assistance systems and even more of a joke how we as customers accept that fact.
    The G9 has a lot going for it, too bad the assistance systems are so poor.
