oh my gosh...i remember having the 9F was really good. Adder meant you were RICH. Now...Khanjali through Downtown. xD literally earned every penny through grind.
And the worst thing about it is that they fail to make fun of themselves for that reason. That thing at 9:23 you can hear is actualy a advertisement which you can sometimes hear in the ingame radio. *and it is the only non parody ad in the entire world of GTA* Honestly I think that thats just sad. What where they thinking when, after making all of these highly sarchastic and critical of society radio ads, they created this bulls***? "Oh yeah it will fit guys! I bet nobody will be mad at us."
I feel like the game would get boring fast if you got money dropped. You’d buy everything within a week then what? Start blowing up other players for no reason. That’s why so many griefers are glitchers
@@MonroeSim of course, but i feel like that also brings back the point of how rockstar made grinding so bad that hackers join, bad grind = more hackers = boring gameplay
@@MonroeSim yeah i see that too, you should have to grind for money, but gta v grinding is too extreme, like stated in the video it can cost you tens or sometimes even hundreds of hours to obtain 1 vehicle, money in gta v just seems so impossible to get and, i know it seems like im just repeating stuff from the video, but that can (and has) made a large portion of the players quit
@@MonroeSim Its fun when a hacker joins, drops u like 500k so you can tune your trash car that you've been grinding yo get and dont have money left to tune and then does some funny shit like spawning all police cars or asks if you want to be slingshotted in a car or makes snow when someone asks for it or drives around in a UFO or simply does funny stuff
Ah yes. I remember the mixture of hate, frustration and pure joy when a whole lobby was being demolished by a single rhino tank and everybody teamed up to take it down. Of course back then you could lose a whole Weeks worth of grinding spending all your money on sticky bombs, and destroying the griefer tank would cost you a fine, and they got it back within 2 minutes flat... There were options though. It could be avoided as the tank can't be everywhere at once. Stealing a jet at the mil base was a super effective counter provided one didn't crash or get shot down by NPCs. Could also passively resist. I personally enjoyed trying to get the jet and failing that, flaming car bomb suicides. Got 'em every time half the time.
Rockstar likes to patch money glitches as quickly as they come out, but they leave game breaking glitches that ruin other players’ fun and just let them stay for years. It’s like when they see players having fun, they’re like “Nope, you can’t do that, and now we’re going to ban you for trying to not give us money!” But nahh, when they see game breaking glitches that ruin other player’s fun they’re like “Eh, they’ll still give us money, keep that glitch in there for another year!”
For what it's worth, "leaving before save" glitches can't be patched so there's still Blackjack and Bogdan. All the really good ones do get removed quick though.
It's like an additional level of messaging depicting the evils of late-stage capitalism that went straight over people's heads... or it's just blatant hypocrisy. ;)
@@timkusan4370 no this is some mobile, clash of clans type grinding without the ability to put the controller down and do something else. This video actually made me feel a little sick realizing how much time I have wasted in this game and how fruitless it is. This game has taken over my life for the past two weeks since I started playing it again after a long break, and it’s all been so I can keep slowly raising my character’s net worth. I think I’m gonna delete GTA V
Dude I just got on 3 days ago and I feel the same way stressing over that game has no value in the real world, it is the closest thing to a virtual experience though
Bro it's only a waste of time if you consider any game played during that time a waste. It's just a game, no better no worse than others in regards to a time waste or not.
@@tristanchaplin392 Reasonable and I did that too. Even if the video is mostly really on point and good work, it does miss the most essential problem. The forced PvP system. Every business you want to run in the open world is locked to open lobbies. It does not make any sense. Nearly All of the missions do include PvE enemies and a time-limit. They are hard enough for anyone before Level 100. On top of that a lot, a hell lot of freeroam activitities are not triggered when you play alone. They also contain PvE enemies and time limits and are even without other players annoying you very tough to deal with as a new player. I mean that is the main content in the open world and you cant enjoy the game without being constantly faced with toxic trolls. The Video Contributor asked a very important Question: Is Rockstar to blame for the worst community I have ever seen in a video game? Yes. It is no surprise that people are assholes. We all learned that already. And this is their fault. But Rockstar forces us to be assholes. You get constantly motivated to kill an other player. You get messages and calls that you need to kill other players. You get unbalanced high rewards for following their orders. It is way harder to start a mission, get to the location, do the activity and then being forced to use a vehicle to get the wares safe back to your storage. This is the real problem about GTA Online. The Rest would be bearable if we would get PvE-Only Lobbies without gameplay restrictions. I dont care about idiots and hackers if I dont have to play with them. I dont care if I need to grind to buy essential content or just cosmetics. I dont care if you can buy all the content for real money if you are able to grind it. But what I definitely agree with is the embarassing female character selection. Whats so wrong about long hair?
I know I'm incredibly late to this video but the algorithm led me here and I have a few words on this. I was actually a new player in 2019. I got the game for my 18th birthday in March 2019, and when I hopped into online it was a nightmare. One of my very first experiences as a new player was being relentlessly harassed by a 12 year old boy on Mk II oppressor until his friend realized what was going on and made him chill out. Funnily enough, after that incident I became friends with that 12 year old boy and his crew and they were the ones that helped me gain some footing in the game. If it weren't for them, I may have entirely abandoned GTA online because there was absolutely nothing going for me as a brand new player. Everything good costs a ridiculous amount of money, jobs pay out in practically pennies, and I sure as hell couldn't afford to buy shark cards, so it was pretty much pointless to try. If I hadn't met more experienced players and had them take me under their wing (and run me through Bogdan repeatedly) I wouldn't have gotten anywhere at all. Now I have a nightclub, facility, bunker, avenger, terrorbyte, one of each kind of illicit business, my own office, a handful of nice vehicles, and a high end apartment, and yet I have NO incentive to engage with any of those things because the payout is so pathetic that it isn't worth the time I would have to invest in them and most of the missions related to those things require you to have other people to successfully complete them or put you in a situation where you're most likely to just get blown up by an oppressor and lose out on all your profits anyway. It's impossible to make any progress as a solo player on GTA online, and even with friends to help, it's still incredibly difficult and time consuming. I hate that everything I have in the game is directly the result of repeating the same heist over and over until I could recite the cutscenes in my sleep because it's the only efficient way to make enough money to buy anything worthwhile. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun playing GTA online when I was still active, but only because of the people I met and made friendships with, not because the game itself was fun. GTA online is an incredibly tedious and frustrating experience and I really wish it wasn't. I've been a fan of Rockstar and the GTA series since I was just a child and seeing a series I grew up loving become so corrupted by corporate greed is just really depressing and makes me worry about the future of the series
Yep. What's sad is anyone with an email address can Google unknowncheats, make an account, and then download easy to use mods like kiddington. Not only is this crashing servers like crazy, but it gives greifers more tools to work with. They won't fix shit until the Ps5 release, and I hope that re-launch is fouled by modders within it's debut week.
They aready are, eventually if they keep this up sales will rapidly start going down and they will spend money to push new dlc's to get people buying them and shark cards again but there will be a point when people stop buying them and rockstar will have to think about making a new GTA game or they will be fucked as a company
I quit gta online like 5 years ago, tried logging in again after 5 years... Just when I thought the game could have changed, still a trashy game. I'm quiting again and going back to playing SAMP (san andreas multi-player) which is still way more fun than gta online, even though SAMP is like 15 years old. Sad when you think about it, specially since there's still a ton of people playing SAMP and roleplay servers.
One of the biggest problems with the heists is the mission design. Mostly, the organisation missions are far more fun because even when they reuse heist locations, they let you hit the objectives more free form, taking any approach that technically fulfils the objective. Steal a tank? You can jump in it and try to drive away, or you could have a friend do that while you get a cargobob copter and hook the tank to fly it to the objective while they use the turret on the AI. That's the kind of freedom GTAO should be all about, but the heists will give you harsh game overs for looking at an NPC the wrong way, or even just not using the exact road they scripted for you to drive on. Not to mention that at launch, whenever you hit one of these many failstates, the A button, which is usually repsawn in other modes, was for some reason "disband group" in heists only. Meaning if any 1 player in the group hit A out of muscle memory when they died, all 4 players would be kicked from the group and returned to the lobby. So more than half the time I ever spent playing heists, was just trying to actually get the missions to start.
@Political Reactor bro its 100 bucks for only 8mil in-game currency, you know how little that can get you and how easily you can burn through that amount of money,it's exploitation at it's highest degree ,worse than EA ,worse than Gameloft mobile games
People will defend gta online saying it's fine to spend 40hrs a week grinding for a new car "cause that's the game" meanwhile they play the same mission over and over having no fun whatsoever.
“Erm, it’s the same 3 missions actually” - ☝️🤓 (In all seriousness, I totally get it. It can get very repetitive the 5000th time doing the same few missions.)
Problems with gta online: “The game you are trying to join no longer exists” , “Connection was lost to GTA Online” and all the 20 minute loading screens inbetween
It also doesn’t help that many cars has experimental handling flags that make the driving experience horrible to spite the cars being in that $500k-$5 million range.
@@mr.randomgamer888 u/tiishen Basically, they're lines of code in the vehicle files that change the performance in various, usually unpredictable ways. So cockstar is basically testing vehicle handling (most likely for a new GTA game) in GTA:O and ruining otherwise good cars. By far the most affected vehicle is the Itali GTO which goes into the air from the smallest of bumps
I was a day one player. I remember grinding so hard to buy the Casco for 640k. It took hours of Ticket to Elysium lol the Adder at $1m seemed impossible and insane. 2.2m from the warehouse drops was like manna from heaven. That's right, playing heists with randoms is so bad and because you can only do the businesses in public lobbys you get attackt most of the time. The game would be so much better if you could play all the businesses in invite only lobbys.

You forgot about the part where Rockstar straight up deletes accounts, and doesn't allow people to transfer to their characters to preferred platforms, essentially nullifying countless hours and hundreds, if not thousands of dollars' worth of in-game purchases. @@benc.3128 i agree w u, i dont like modders and personally i stay away from online it self so i dont get banned for getting gifted money (i heard they can ban you if they detect a sudden rise in money), but to be fair rockstar really needs to make grinds worth it, you grind for a really cool vehicle and then realize you cant use it outside of free roam. Or u complete a really hard heist and all it gives u is 400,000 and only doing it once. And yeah the game would be boring if there is no goal, but if the goal deals with 20+ hours of grind to get it, thats one goal out of like at this point 100s. Well It's because they're not willing to do the work, bunch of lazy people. It is somewhat Rockstar's fault for making things overpriced but if you were able to buy an oppressor after 1 heist would the game really be that fun? Probably not. The fun part of the game is doing the heists/jobs and being able to reward yourself with a super car. GTA 5 is pretty much helpless at this point so for GTA 6 they should not add flying bikes with rockets and to add different characters/jobs.

I just want to point something out. The timeline is a little confusing, but in the beginning of gta online, the game takes place BEFORE the events of story mode. However, story mode takes place in the MIDDLE of the online timeline. So some things happen before story mode (such as your character first landing at the airport or the old 5 heists) and some things take place after story mode (such as the doomsday heist and casino heist) Proof: Lester makes reference to the big robbery of the UD before the casino heist. He also makes a reference to the jewelry story job in one of the heist options for casino heist.

I didn't do anything about it for over two years after getting my Xbox one x because rockstar canceled their phone and email support you can no longer reach them by those methods. I was totally unaware you could contact them on the rockstar support. When I found out I could contact them 2 years later I had reached level 134 in GTA online and had done a ton of grinding. But basically quit because grinding in a game I already grinded in for years and already owned everything in previously was killing me. But upon contacting rockstar they gave me 10 of my 50 million dollars back. Gave me my old rank back. Nothing else vehicles or property. Or stats. And there are most of the time between 10-20 cars. Grinding that much just isn't fun at all and is just boring. That is the reason why people mod themselves money. I personally have also modded myself money and since then GTA Online has been wayyy more fun because I can choose to do what I want without having to grind 50 hours before that so I can buy it. It is no wonder that many people consider GTA Online as being a full time job. Either the payouts have to get better or the prices have to get cheaper. One of the two will solve the problem or atleast be a beginning to solve the problem. People just don't want to buy a 60$ game and then have to invest 20 hours to buy and upgrade a single car and I mean literally grinding the same mission or heist for 20 hours straight which is not fun at all. Most people don't even have that kind of time.
@@Z38_US Lol grind 50h? I can do it in 3. Just do vehicle grind and sell businesses afterwards or afk the noght before. You get 1.050M in full bunker, 420k in coke and around 350k in meth. Back in the day I used to like going online, though back then I used to have friends. Set up a private server and just have a bunch of people driving around hunting rare cars so the others can load up some cheap garage and sell them whenever they needed the money. Or using sticky bombs to blow open doors of money vans and get away. Or even chain missions together and work toward buying tank, buzzard, and armoured cars - no toxicity, no players nuking the field and no hackers. Good times. I’m sure nowadays there is more to do but back then I would have loved for them to do something with the stock market instead of it just being on campaign with vague obscure hints on how to invest and where to invest. I remember completing the game and needing money, but because solo campaign won’t let you replay heists and keep the money, you had to be creative and buy property but some of them where boring. It wasn’t like GTA: Vice City or IV where you do a bunch of stuff for your property and it generates money on its own, you had to destroy cars yourself for $15 reward per car for scrap yard, and get $50 per car towed from towing property. Vice city generated money AFK and IV gave you perks such as LJ’s discount weapons/Romans free taxi/paddies car bombs. I jumped off the game when it was becoming a time sink, thankfully I never spent real money online.
Golden rule of heists with randoms: Never more than 15%. Never. If they request more before starting, kick them out. I know it sounds harsh but it's the only way. There is no reason why they would deserve more than what you are offering. With close friends I do equal shares and they always do the same.
You're absolutely right especially at the in-game prices. I just hacked the game and got me 300 million and bought everything and still wanted my refund.

When I looked at the cost of shark cards I immediately decided I wouldn't purchase them, ever.

I was fresh out of high school just started working so I couldn't buy an Xbox one in time to transfer my character. I didn't do anything about it for over two years after getting my Xbox one x because rockstar canceled their phone and email support you can no longer reach them by those methods. But basically quit because grinding in a game I already grinded in for years and already owned everything in previously was killing me. But upon contacting rockstar they gave me 10 of my 50 million dollars back. Gave me my old rank back. Nothing else vehicles or property. Or stats. I'm not sure why they didn't add my next gen level 134 to my old gen 560. I should have been rank 697. Instead I was 560. I got screwed worse than anyone. I played 111 days I broke out the 360 recently to check before contacting rockstar so I could show them how much of my time they wasted. They told me they cannot help me anymore than they have. But. I had already grinded pretty far in next gen buying a CEO office and vehicle warehouse and bunker and hanger. Now I bought the clubhouse the meth coke cash businesses and the nightclub. If you afk with your nightclub it's not bad at all. I have 53 million after 40 days of doing this. And I don't have to spend all day grinding. I can leave my house do whatever I want I don't have to have no life. And I can still make $880,000 a day from my nightclub. I may get banned who knows but it's working out so far. I could afford practically anything in the game now if I wanted. But I really only bought 2 things. A hydra. And the Krieger cause I think it's the best car in the game. The hydra is still easily the best attack vehicle in the game. If you are a good pilot you can still own the lobby with it. And though the Krieger maybe slightly slower than vehicles like the 811 and furia. It has extremely higher acceleration and way better handling and smokes either one of those cars if you are getting into car chases. That's all you need. Enough money to buy sticky bombs. A Krieger. A hydra. And about 50 million in your bank account as a comfort zone. @@a.t.9654 still a mad grind....
@Crusty783 having to grind isn't a bad thing and is common however in GTA Online payouts vs prices are really shit. Doing a heist with 4 players will often not even get you 1 million even if th money is split 25% for all 4 players and a new car in an update these days most of the time is more than 1 million.
Most people don't even have that kind of time.

you can use session sweeper, its not an awful little program
You can use the casino to grind for easy money if you know how to take advantage of it
Console players: *spends days trying to get a few million*
PC players: *walks into lobby, map is being nuked repeatedly, players teleporting, and money bags following players everywhere*
I can say the pc part is not true. My lobbies are filled with friendly players almost all the time.
Tapsu10 Yes people Who give me free cash are friendly
Yeah PC players go through hard times since it’s easier to download mods since it’s the same surface in which both apps are in
@@blasmunoz1341 i would say it is not that hard times. My friend started playing last week so we have been doing casinoheist like 4 times and we have not been killed even once. I don't know if console has more toxic players though.
Moders on pc are typically friendly at least the ones I've met help me out whit money or are just typically nice
Thats why everyone does money glitches, what is totally reasonable
xXLewanXx ya
xXLewanXx i don’t even know how to do money glitches
cool thats a shame, this is the only reason why I come back to play Gta
I agree, but this month rockstar is being generously, bunker has 3x (i think), free money, free gta v, and etc
@@batataroxa4968 not rockstar lol. Epic games bought gta and made it free
I don't know if it's your voice or the amazing editing but I always find myself coming back every 3 or 4 months to watch your videos
GTA sharkcards: The only business commercial that actively calls its buyers stupid and poor yet gets more people to buy it
GTA Online is so immersive, they even added class inequality to the game!
This hit hard
Hahaha...ha...ha....ugh 🤣😂😅😭
That’s why I mod
I have every gun in the game. Two garages filled with cars and the most expensive yacht. Along with a couple million dollars in the bank. Never have I bought a shark card or spent any money besides buying the game. You just have to play the shit out of it. Made all my money playing ltms like Rockets v.s. insurgents etc...
Best comments👏🏾
The point of failure for any game: A $500,000 Honda Civic.
I don't even care about cars, they are too expensive. Just use free cars like the original GTA
whoa, thats a hefty price fot a lawnmower
@@kuzey2513 racing mower*
wait... isn't it $900k - $1.2m?
hello there good guy! Last time I looked it was half a million
Not everything takes place before the GTA 5 Campaign, the apartment heists takes place before the story mode, including the Series A heist.
But heists like the Doomsday and the Diamond Casino takes place long after the story mode, and yes, the Union Depository heist in GTA Online also takes place long after Story Mode, that's why Lester said the Union Depository has never been hit before.
I agree with the rest of your points but I just had to say something after watching that part
The problem with it is its existence.
without GTA online, rockstar would have gone beyond GTA v a loong time ago at this point
if gta online didnt release, we would have got gta 6 and recently gta 7 announcement?
@@drifzyy67 No if Gta online stopped updating (like gta 4 online) then we would be on gta 6 by now but I seriously doubt a gta 7 announcement.
@@Cheezy_Bunz gta 7 I heard is coming out in 2100. I will be 98 by then but I sure will love it. I might have a loss in hearing and sight but atleast I'll die knowing a 7 came out
Why come out with a whole new game when they can just put put DLC?? They don't care what you spoiled kids are crying about
@@boostjunkie2320 how are we spoiled for not wanting to play the same gta 5 that came out in 2013. 8 years ago.
Gta 4 came out in 2008, 5 years between 4 and 5. I played and beat Red dead redemption 2 five times already.
The DLC shouldnt cost more than the game and this isn't EA Sports. You don't get an advantage with most stuff you buy.
It's mostly just fun things like flying cars we want. I don't care about the herpes spreader bike.
The moment they got their first Billion they couldn't let it go and wanted more
Thats the whole point of a company
And lets be honest what ever they do people will still play it so why would they care
Wouldnt you want more?
If people are going to continue buying it for a set price why lower it ?
@@adamclifford9183 but their is a difference between that's a companys goal and being greedy
This is why I have NEVER bought a shark card, not once, and I've had the game since release. I've always seen BUYING MONEY as unfair to other players and a cheap shortcut set by companies who make the grind hard to suck up money from player who want new items.
Daniel Fortune meh
Daniel Fortune I have and it was never worth it
I considered it, but then a kind hacker teleported everyone in the map to the top of a mountain and dropped 100s of Millions of cash for us to ferret around and grab. Thank you again mister hacker
Just mod money lmao
It’s so easy
3 years later and this is still relevant. I am only level 30 in gta online and its been disheartening to see that most vehicles/ content is out of my reach because of money issue
get a kosatka and the problems gone just one heist with some friends or solo and you have enough to invest into other buisnesses
It sucks
“Players would much rather have new cities to explore than new rooms to buy” Damn I felt that
Edit: OMG I never got this much likes thxs guys:)
Yeah im pretty sure we would all love new maps, but think of how much time that would take, we wouldn't get any new dlc for months maybe a year and everyone will think rock-star abandoned the game and that would lose them fans / money, they would have to make a big dlc release first to keep players hooked then they could work on it. We ALL want a new map.
Voltage Gaming well hopefully gta 6 has a bigger map than gta 5
Wingxdfish i’m sure they will, rdr2 was a masterpiece and they are improving
Voltage Gaming I agree. What do you play on? Xbox, PS4 , or PC?
Voltage Gaming meh
The part that I hate about gta is rockstar knows that the game is unfair but they know even if they don’t do anything people will still play the game
Fallen Night yeah gta is supposed to be about the grind
Like that we don’t get our 300k back from buying the suits now there free
@@crxzy_plays_cod1125 if you've been playing then you just recently got $2Million free plus 500k multiple times free just for playing. 300k is pennies bro, quit crying.
>Titled "the problem with gta online"

hmm
it should be still going live and listing the problems since the release date of this video :/
if gta online it's bad then rdr online it's a disaster
@@venus-fl3kn griefers are the problem not the game prizes are also a problem and how much money u make zooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

They made it so gta 5 is only fun with money honestly just like real life
cam kostek I’m pretty poor but I still have a lot of fun with my friends!
i have 2 billion dollars, and when you have everything, the game turns boring
SwoopZ dang how long did it take you to get that much money?
Jean Viloria he mods😂
The game gets boring once u have everything
Online heists be like: give me 60%
-but i made all preps alone
-give me or i will leave.
-ok
Mission failed player died.
I would leave if someone wanted 60%
Golden rule of heists with randoms: Never more than 15%. Never. If they request more before starting, kick them out. I know it sounds harsh but it's the only way. There is no reason why they would deserve more than what you are offering.
With close friends I do equal shares and they always do the same.
and me and my friend got 15% and the host of the heist died and we did it
This is why you should be allowed to solo heists
@@Hugealligator254 I have always wondered why don't they make it possible to have the Lester Heists in a solo version.
Have you ever loaded into a session without hearing the thundering cracks of explosions
Plenty of times...I enjoyed a quiet session
@Theone Wolf wow
It’s called PS4
@@jbot2476 what do you mean?
Yeah it's called invite only or solo sessions
You're absolutely right especially at the in-game prices. I just hacked the game and got me 300 million and bought everything and still wanted my refund. Ended up trolling and hacking because of this until i got banned and i felt such a relief. I am not going to give rockstar more money when i bought their game 3 times!
