I don't really track macros I just make sure I get at least 140-150 grams of protein in a day. I leverage fasting for weight loss when needed.

Wrong !. No carbs = low calories. Low calories = fat loss. Its a trick!!!!!
      Carbs contain CALORIES!!!!!!!
therefore if u remove carbs from your diet u automatically remove a 💩 load of CALORIES too
And if all you are allowed to eat is protein and fat its impossible to eat too many calories.

@@kieranaustin4004it’s a combination of both. If she ate the same calories but all carbs instead of all protein her insulin levels would spike and she might actually gain weight. I tried a vegetarian diet with portion/calorie control eating less that 2000 calories a day while burning at least 3000, I couldn’t keep my sugar levels under control and I lost very little weight. I switched to an almost carnivore diet and within a month I was off diabetic medication and lost weight. It’s been 18 months, I’m still losing weight and most of my health issues are gone.

@@linda33528 I'm addressing the fact that she admits she did it wrong. I strongly believe if she did it right she would be better, but that's beside my point. My question was not directly to the point of her current situation, but a general concern I have seen in the internet. Someone goes on say a carnivore, keto, vegan or whatever diet, has amazing results. Then they say once they went back to regular eating, they gained back the weight or some problems came back. Why the f would once go back to regular eating if the regular eating brought you all this problems? People say that those diets are not sustainable. For example, I am on a carnivore diet, what is not sustainable about eating meat daily? I can afford it eat and I like it. On this diet, I lost all the excess weight, I am at my optimal weight, I had high blood pressure, gone, I had severe acne, all gone, I had frequent colds and I was on antacids 4 out of 7 days a week. Why would I want to to back to regular eating now that I feel so good and have reached my optimal weight?

Eat meats with salt, as much as you like.
    Never eat a carb' again.
Once you've gotten used to it, reduce fat ratio.
You'll lose weight until you stabilise at your genetic optimal weight.

Yes, this works awesome, I’ve been on Atkins off and on for 23 years and every time I want to get quickly into ketosis I basically do a carnivore diet for a week. ANYWAYS this is NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HEART!! Back off the butter, light oil, and very limited red meat. Opt for chicken, turkey, tuna, and tilapia. Women especially have higher risks of heart failure in relation to red meat, just be aware and take care of your ❤

This is due to our individual genetic makeup - no person is the same and we all have a different ancestry (cold-climate people, warm-climate and mixed).
It's specified in a theory called "metabolic typing" and further in "genotype diet".
What fits for others does not always fit for you.
(Genetic testing can verify this - most people have different mutations due to evolutional adaption of climate/food availability)
Do you happen to know your blood type?

    • @karmelicanke
      @karmelicanke 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@carolina_is_free Thanks for your reply. My blood type is A+ I have know people of different ethnic backgrounds who have prospered living a diet of animal products. As you say, it's not one size fits all.

Mewsflash: meat has very low levels of essential nutrients, electrolytes included. You will end up with things like scurvy, chronic constipation, and hypokalemia, for example.
