The historic context is so immersive and well done that alone is worth doing. I agree though, the story line and character arc have issues. Seeing how gangs evolved during prohibition though has a direct connection. The offspring, a new generation of outlaws in a changing world. If Rockstar put their effort into it how could it be bad?
@@socratesDude never said it would be bad? Just that i think it probably won’t live up to the other two games. I assume ur talking about the jack marston storyline and if you are I simply feel like a ww1 setting would not fit a rdr game.
Who said that Red Dead Redemption 3 has to be part of 1or 2? They can take this in another whole direction. Instead of killing innocent people, the main character can be a lawman or bounty hunter, in another part of the country. There're so many ways to go with a third game.
@@Roland2665 of course you could do a separate story, pretty sure I did that in the vid. But if that was the case it wouldn’t be called rdr3 and would have a different name imo despite it being in the same universe. Similar to red dead revolver.
Have you ever played Red Dead Revolver Red Harlow was the only character in the red dead franchise to survive his story He has mentioned a few times in both red dead redemption, one and two as a campfire story. Nobody knows whatever happened to him. There’s even a couple Easter eggs there’s the picture of him somewhere in San Denis and red dead redemption two. So I think red dead revolver sequel would be the best. We also knew Arthur was going to die because he was never in red dead redemption one if they wanna go with Mac calendar
They can leave the Van der Linde gang story as it is but hell yeah we need a new red dead game, man I would love a red dead fully set in Mexico, that's my dream for this series
They could make another one in the Prime West without Connections to the Van der Linde Gang maybe in the 1840s 50s and you Play AS a native American or mexican Something Like that.
@@derekbez3771 yeah it’s a good concept. I hope rockstar make the next game a standalone game in the red dead universe without major connections to 1 & 2.
Dude. Its a video game. I thought the perfect Red Dead 3 would be following what happened to Sadie after she leaves the gang. You can stay in the same time period.

I personally think that the 4th red dead game (including revolver) could be an rpg or something of the sort, i haven't thought about it or potential aspects yet but i feel like if it took inspiration from fallout 4 it could make a genuinely interesting western game
I disagree but I think the next one should be the last one. And I want it to be Jack. Since he's bonded with the past 2 main characters. I think Arthur and John haven't had their "redemption" yet. But they can get that through Jack. Also because Jack is the person they laid/will lay their lives on (I think Jack will die if Jack becomes the MC of 3). A cowboy with the education that deals with the bigger guns is a good idea to me. This time we actually mess around with the big bosses and destroy everything they have built to avenge, at the same time redeem, both John and Arthur. That would be a good ending to the series. Jacks "redemption" will take care of itself.
I believe we should have been given a DLC for Blackwater. We could probably squeeze out another 20-30 hours of story.
I agree "Redemption" story is finished but they should continue Red dead.
I want a Red dead about Sadie, Javier or even Karen Jones.

@@JUVO_YT sure, WWI like the civil war, I get it. I was thinking more about the prohibition gangs like Al Capone, Babyface Nelson.
