People who actually drive Nürburgring can appreciate the bonkers traction of that car. The speed in a few corners blew my mind. Absolutly happy to be able to drive those quality cars with my M3 comming this Dec. Though, the car is still to heavy, which results in a lap time no way near a GT3 RS. Still a freakin great job.
not even that much about the weight, the chassis itself is at a disadvantage, the porsche sits lower, has a spoiler, isn't front engined and has wider tracks + more aerodynamic with DRS

Don’t get me wrong, I love fast cars, but what’s the point of cars getting faster and faster, but speed limits stay the same and fuel prices only climb. Makes no sense. This is why the prices of older analog cars keep climbing.

BMW go for fastest sedan record and I feel still that BMW M4 CSL can beat AMG GTR lap. Its faster car on the stright line, change the driver or change tires for wider cup 2R the same wide as AMG GTR. BMW makes the best cars and I believe in them !

you have no idea what are you talking about. bmw will never be better than Porsche because of his configuration. Porsche is a next gen car. bmw is a regular car. is like comparing a bmw with R8 or Mclaren,Ferrari etc.

this BMW is closer in DNA to a bentley continental GT than an E46. the days of serious sports car bmws are in the past. its a nice car. powerful, stable, nice engine note and probably rides comfortable, but its not sports car. shouldnt be expected to compete with any genuine sports cars.
Kudos to bmw for getting 7:18.. but its still slower than a zl1 1le and with the price differences... it doesnt make sense to buy a m4 csl If you ask me, they did the csl name dirty
3.15 i dont know if it s the pov but ive seen this line ( going too left at entry ) very rarely. i was always wondering why people dont use the whole in this specific corner. is it sth slippery/bumpy in the tarmac or u just need balls to brake late and open the line?
The car seems to be over-hesitant and twitchy during corner entry, and gains stability towards the corner exit. If the car behaves the other way around it could have done a much faster lap.

Impressive, but a stock Camaro ZL1 1LE ran a 7:16 lap time, and it's less than half the price ($65k U.S.) of the M4 CSL.
Yet the zl1 1le has 650 hp and a better power to weight
