I’ve never seen someone handle Bert so well. JJ is the mad, he some how got Bert to check himself many times, never made an ass out of him when it would’ve been too easy, and most impressively- seemed to stay true to himself. On top of that Jj was one of the most refreshing celebrity pod dudes I’ve ever heard and it makes me like him even more.
My girl made me watch new girl and I immediately connected with Nick Miller. And to see how much of Jake is imbedded in that character made me love Jake even more. Great pod and I’m only 8 mins in lmao

Jake… I’m 42 and I watched New Girl from the jump and it’s one of my FAVORITE shows of all time. I watch it on loop in the background, when I’m sitting around, when I don’t wanna watch anything else, whenever. I’ve seen every episode 50 times over. You are my favorite character on that show and it’s the absolute best. The last era of when tv shows had enough episodes to really develop characters and story lines and it doesn’t get better.
This is the best ep of 2 bears in a long time. These two balance each other out real nice whilst also being similar. JJ the only guy to get Bert into quiet mode by giving sincere compliments (I.e the reassurance that Bert craves and appreciates) great job!

New Girl is one of my all-time favorites! Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield are the best in that show.... The back and forth between Nick and Schmidt is why I fell in love with the show. So funny! Jake, as Nick, is my favorite above anyone on there. I bet that was a fun project for those actors.

Jake is one of the best actors of his generation. First caught my attention in Safety Not Guaranteed. Digging For Fire cemented my fandom. Was awesome seeing him with Tom Cruise in The Mummy. That opening section should have just been the start of the next Mission Impossible, though. He’s great as Peter Parker, of course, and Self-Reliance is a must-see. Did not see him on that show with that girl and three guys, though.
