Not exaggerating, you and Jake's energies match and complement each other as well as you and Bobby's in most of this podcast. It legitimately feels like two best friends having a conversation. One of the more organic feeling episodes so far.
I wish more came of these interviews. After these interviews I want the second date to be a project or a long form improv or a sketch or something. Would add so much fun and good content

One of my favorite things on the internet is finding out which New Girl scenes are improvised, and hearing that Jake was always helping to push that for his buddies makes me so happy 🥰
Same! Its fun to hear the mechanics of a scene...and I really never thought about the dynamics of an improv scene, where the "straight man" is actually driving the bit.
This felt like one of those conversations that happens when you randomly start talking to someone, in a corner at some party. No pressure, just two guys shooting the shit and vibing man.
As a woman I didn’t know this was a thing for y’all so this is so fun and wholesome to see for the first time like that lol

My God Dude… Jake is one of my absolute all time favorites. New Girl somehow became one of my favorite shows to where I roll through every season front to back over and over and I have one earbud in just listening to it and watching it all the time and his character Nick is one of my favorite characters from any show ever. He is the freakin best. Just hearing his voice makes me happy.
Same. New Girl is my comfort show and Bad Friends is my consistency. Like, if I had a shitty week, hey at least Bad Friends will be there lol. So seeing these guys come together and get along was a real treat.

I havent seen much of Jake Johnson other than the sporadic New Girl episode. I got the same vibe from him here. He just seems like he wants to have a good time and he brings that energy in... I'd imagine to everything he does. Def going to have to look up his other work now.
