2014 was a very dark time in my life and i cried out to God for help. And he heard my cries. Yeshua, Jesus revealed His presence to me. The Lord taught me about forgiving those who have done me harm. It was a process of sanctification. I needed to repent for my sins, which I have and go and sin no more. On Dec 11th 2016 I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit. Since then the HOLY SPIRIT has been guiding me in all truth. Some relationships had to be taken away, but i know it is for my good. The Lord God Almighty COMPLETLY transformed my heart and life. I LOVE LOVE LOVE our Heavenly Father, Yeshua Ha Mashiach!

I really have a desire to spend time learning about the Jewish roots of the gospel and I'm thankful for an opportunity to see that desire come into reality. Thank you so much for using this platform to give us better understanding.

It’s so true what was said from the very beginning. My wife is from the Philippines. I spent 1 year there before we married and it gave me such a valuable understanding of the culture and my wife. In the same way we cannot have a full appreciation for the work of Jesus without understanding the Old Testament.

7 years ago I was prompted and started to study God's word. (not just read) Studying the references in the NT that brought the narrative of the OT to life and I discovered much of what is being discussed in this video. We have a God who Reveals. He wants us to know him.
I am grateful everyday now and the compelling message of the Gospel is indeed brought to the forefront through the OT Hebrew scriptures. I pray for the spiritual restoration of Israel, an abundant and overwhelming harvest of souls.
I am sensing that perhaps a spiritual awakening is coming to life over all nations.
All glory and praise to our Father, Savior and eternal God.

They live in the world and of it as did I once cause I didn't really know God Jesus Holy Spirit to the depth i do now and it is mind blowing when u do it is GOLD! Priceless amazing incredible

You should feel completely buried under the law after that “chop off your hand, pluck out your eye, be perfect like God” sermon because that’s the point!!! This preceded the gospel (the cross & resurrection) which is what saves us from that curse. Wow, thank you for the insight!

Always good. Never eat with liars. 1 Cor. 5:9-13.
I like to share with you for many reasons. I loved the prayer at the end because while I accepted Jesus when I was first learning to read, I had a hard time accepting the Bible itself because I was a girl. I understood that boys and girls got themselves in trouble: I was taught early about pregnancy, adoption, and abortion with father and mother on opposite ends of the spectrum and both employed by the military, him the military her a military contractor. So, Eph. 6:4 was hard to differentiate when verses 1-3 were so prevalent in day to day survival. I shunned the Bible except for Proverbs for years because I flowed better with those who thought it was sexist. The biggest question I had that became my guard against Christians who wanted to make me their Great Commission, was "How could the Bible be inspired by God when so many awful things are said and I'm supposed to memorize the blood line?" (In my head, I was thinking, Jesus loves the free spirit so why are you trying to kill mine?) They never had the answer because "It was not my time."
When I was married, I learned more about Adam and Eve and I'd pray like King Solomon daily asking Jesus to give me wisdom so I could endure being with a man who seemed to be wasting his life by trying to teach me a lesson about my own faith, which I had little ammunition to use against him because I wasn't a student of the Bible and I was no saint like the Christians I knew, he was trying to impress, and both of which wished I could be more like as a student to them. He was not all bad because something he would tell me was, "Be careful what you wish for." Well, when he decided to enact a divorce like Adam and Eve while I was hoping and praying for a union of the New Testament, a partnership where male and female no longer mattered (Gal. 3:28); I opened the Bible and the Lord poured out his painting and sucked me in. The climax of my story is around the corner.
I completely read the entire Bible by Christmas of 2021 (I think it was.) Some 40 years after I said that Jesus was my savior and that to ensure He knew, I would end every prayer with "in Jesus' name." Two Bibles to complete this task which began with dabbling in 2012, but was from cover to cover in my current bible (the 2nd) 2015 through 2021. I tell you this because of what I go through with psychiatrists and social workers in a "democratic society" of the U.S. who says we have freedom of religion but I'm unemployable unless I follow the rules of their chosen religion; I get no pursuit of my happiness unless I obey their commands. So, I deny them and use their freedom documents against them while I pray to my God and hope they will learn to save themselves. The blessings God gives me are eternal. The first three pages of my bible, essentially, is of all the scholars who wrote and contributed to my Bible. I say to them, "I speak with scholars every day who have put their opinions in on how to interpret MY bible, so I don't need any of your editorializing hate into what is always going to be a work in progress." My Bible is The Life Application Study Bible, 2007, Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Carol Stream, IL., 60188.
Here is the climax. What I loved about this 2007 bible is the maps at the back. I referred to them so much they've fallen away from the binding. To me the story of Abraham started long before the Exodus. He chose a woman. He loved her. He loved her so much he defied Eph. 6:1-3 to brave trusting The Father in Eph. 6:4 and wandered from essentially the Middle East up to Damascus and then dropped into the Promised Land. It was at the point of Damascus I imagined Abraham considered turning back and tucking his tail to be a part of "the family inheritance." But he didn't. He chose to stay free, just as Apostle Paul told us in Galatians 5:1-6, "You are free because of Jesus, now fight to stay free." Moses adn the law is/are to me how Abraham matured, as we all do when having children and hope they never leave and fear they'll be taken too soon. A something or two that Abraham may have thought of after he dropped into the promised land. Jesus is his brother and son, as a matter of speaking, when we all felt so able and easily healed until age catches up with us and we are reminded of all the stupid decisions we made and were lucky to survive but have the scars and aches and pains to not be Hezekiah. God rest his soul. God loves our trust and I love being close to Him because he knows me better than myself. Hurricanes and tornadoes, calm waters and cool drinks of water are my God. The beauty of the Bible can never be revealed to someone who is only looking to it for an answer to make the journey easier, with more rewards, and "guaranteed power." They miss the entire love story and why when a man leaves his mother and father he becomes one with his woman.

Have read the Bible many times, but a couple of years ago I read through the OT, colouring everything God did and said in purple. Then started reading the NT, still colouring in purple, and was literally shocked to find that this same God, who in the OT was mostly distant, up in heaven, or shrouded in a tent, suddenly appeared in human form, walking on earth, talking with us.
Our God contracted to a span; incomprehensibly made man.

What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand.
God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly.
Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. That's why there is all this predicament on earth (selfishness, greed, lust, wars, sicknesses, death, etc).
We are all born into that mess.
For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ.
With His own once and for all perefect sacrifice, He paid the debt for the fall of man for us, so we can be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. An amazing act of grace and love by our creator.
That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all and walked in unselfish love.
And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin.
Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come.
So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand.
Hence the divine healing miracles we experience.
God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam.
Christ, the exact image of the invisible God.
The image we were created after in Gen 1.
The image we lost in the fall of man.
The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us.
What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing.
It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle.
He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love.
Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh.
For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth.
    He said:
"Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc.
I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name".
Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!!
So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ.
Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit.
You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator.
You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace.
A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam.
Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever.
Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote:
"As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again".
"IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)"
"The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power".
So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing!
In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote:
"By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man".
The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!!
Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness.
He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind".
"I have come to give you Zoë (divine life) in abundance...."

The God of Israel is not happy with what Israel has become. Not everyone in Israel is Jacob.
Israel is in the world and of the world in a reprobate mind. Not a repentant heart.
Israel the nation is decieved by their own role in the world. They serve their appetites for devices of war, yet God says to "Love your neighbor as you love yourself".
      Welcome to the latter days.
There are no coincidences to THIS and to covid which is not going away.
This generation will not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.
      What generation?
The generation of 1948 to 2068, of course.
This is "the end of the age of the Gentiles"
God is putting His focus BACK to Israel His people; but not a nation made by mans hands. God is calling His elect and these days are being cut short for our sake. Times of sorrows are here along with the worst times ever in the history of the world, or ever because HE is nigh.
Praise the Lord. The Lord of hosts is God. Lord is Messiah and I know Him personally by His own Holy Ghost who is a spirit who measures the heart.
Blessed are the meek. They will inherit the earth.

I just want to ask for clarification when the guest said that Abraham told Sarah they would kill him for being a Hebrew. The Hebrews came from Abraham. Nobody knew what a Hebrew was because there were no Hebrews (descendants of Abraham). Abraham did not tell Sarah to not tell anyone he was Hebrew, he old her to tell them she was just his sister.

I'm not Jew and at the time I became a Follower of Jesus ( I was 19 then), I would have read the Old Testament twice. Before I started reading the New Testamen. My first reaction was against Jesus becouse he several times, broke the love in the way that he made himself as G'd. When I read the chapter 11 that you cuoted I react to that becouse he was calling the disciples to follow him as G'd call the jewish people out of slavery in Egypt to follow G'd and be a people and a testimonie to the World. " I have seen their ...heavy burdens, and I have come down to free them. When The Lord Jeshua said you have heard... but I say" He is putting him self as the same level as G'd in the giving of the Torah. It was very hard to me to aksept this I have just started to believe in one God. Now I faced a man putting himselv in that position. Then I haved to conclusions; either thisman was a lier and deserved been stoned or He was what he really claim to be!!

I'm confused as to where Abraham tells Sarah not to tell the Egyptians that he is a Hebrew. I am reading the KJV, supposed to be the most accurate translation in English, and the only thing like that I find is where Abraham tells Sarah not to tell them that he is her husband, but instead, her brother.

Why did you mis-quote Abraham? He did not say to his wife 'Do not tell the Egyptians I am a Hebrew'; he said 'Tell them you are my sister, so that they may treat me well because of you and spare my life out of regard for you.' Abraham was from Ur of the Chaldaeans. He came out of there to go to the land of Canaan.

I do not want to throw shade or accusations, but I must call for everyone to be weary of these mistakes as they can completely change the narrative. This may have been an honest mistake, but be mindful, I see rabbis tend to do the same with certain passages. There is a trend for trying to paint important characters in a very forgiving light. I am not saying this is the case here, but I find it very odd that someone of his expertise would make such a basic mistake. Perhaps there is a tendency outside of Judaism to do the same in the messianic Jewish community. I take particular issue with these kinds of misrepresentations. It comes off very apologetic to mere mortal men of history simply because of their lineage. It is an issue that perpetuates the misrepresentation of the story the old testament is trying to tell, that when people rebel against the lord, things never go their way. David in particular is embraced in such a way. "A man after Gods own heart". But what they seem to miss is that it didn't make him more of a man. It simply shows that despite the terrible deeds he did later in life, he still trusted the lord and knew he was a sinner in such a deep way that God loved him for it. David always came back to the Lord in a very genuine way. He knew he had no right to glory, only God did. Yet you will find many Rabbis exalt him and excuse what he did to Uriah to the point of saying Uriah was a traitor, yet the scripture says he was so loyal as to refuse to go back to his wife because the rest of the men didn't have that privilege. He seems to have had the "no man left behind" attitude. Yet David killed him in order to take his wife, whom David had already impregnated and was trying to have Uriah go to his wife so he could likely disown the child. Very ugly things us humans do. Keeping that in mind only exalts the lord even further. That He came to us and became like us and so completely OWNED the role of perfection that no one before or since could ever compare.

16:57 I remember having some of those experiences before.
Hearing or reading verses that just seem black and white, and over-quoted by people to the point that it seems like a cliché. And you understand the cherry picked verse at face value but don't think much more about it.
But then once you actually start to read and understand more, and with the knowledge of Jesus and how he was prophesied all over in the OT, some of those "overused" verses start to click in your mind, and you start to see that many of those verses that you used to hear or read are so much deeper than 2D letters on paper.. And it makes you want to explain it to someone else, so they can experience that same "click".

      No book or class saves.
God saves. Yet, no one gets to Father unless they know the Lord.
Who is Messiah? The Lord is Messiah.
Who is the Lord? Christ is the Lord.
Who is God? The Lord is God.
For if you see the Lord you have Seen God.
It is not the Choice of ours to "be saved".
It is Gods choice. GOD measures the heart.
True repentance is "of the heart",
But people "think" it is something they can conjure up in their minds or receive because they go to a church building of Sunday and Wednesday. Being of God is 24/7.
Being "of God" means rejecting the world and its deceptions. This is mystery Babylon and there are few who knows what it is. Faith in God reveals it all by Gods doing. Not a Church building or synagogue. God seeks the pure of heart.

Humans can point other humans toward The Word and toward The Way. From there Jesus Christ takes over. God deserves to be and is The Only Way. Seek to establish the Individual Relationship before it is too late for your soul. Repent now and then begin that process which starts inside your own soul and allows God to be your Teacher.

Amen, there is neither Jew nor Gentile in Christ. It saddens me that this movement is becoming the same as Judaism in saying it takes men's understanding based on earthly things like education and nationality, etc. to fully understand Jesus. Yet scripture tells us it's the Holy Ghost that teaches us individually so that we know without any man's intervention. Come to now scripture tells us. I'm grateful to Yah for his children that do not hesitate to call out these narratives that exalts itself above the word of Yah. Blessings in Christ dear brother. A good householder will bring forth new and old from the storehouse, but only through the Holy Ghost.

    Matthew 11:28.
I couldn't remember the number or even the book at the time, but as I laid in the ICU earlier this year, two of the only coherent thoughts I had for over a week were that I could pray to Jesus for rest from my suffering and, from Job, The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.
He gave me rest to bear the affliction and helped me to see how He would glorify Himself in my suffering.

Hey, I’m Jewish and I’d like to invite you to present what is, in your opinion, the single strongest argument/reason as to why I should embrace Christianity. One comment per person please. I promise to look into each response. I’m genuinely curious about how you all think.

      @Maimon
I am neither Jewish nor Catholic nor Christian nor Muslim. I don't have any religion but I have a God named YHWH pronounced as Yah-o-va or Yehovah to the best of my research and understanding.
I humbly accept your invitation, but the objective of my acceptance of your invitation isn't telling you to embrace Christianity or any religion because I myself am fundamentally without any religion. My only objective, is to tell you to embrace Yeshua as the suffering servant Messiah described in Isaiah 53.
Let's start: So if based on Jewish scriptures and/or perspectives, who is the suffering servant Messiah described in Isaiah 53?

    • @maimon7081

@@deuteronomy6.4bw Friend, I think you misunderstood. I’m not looking for a comment section debate. I’m looking for people to pose their strongest point that supports why they believe what they believe so that I can then go independently study it.

@@maimon7081 Since you are Jewish, then the Tanakh will be the standard scripture for all Jews. Depending on different denomination between Orthodoxy and Karaitism, if you are an Orthodox Jew, then not only will the Tanakh be required to be subscribed, you will also be required to subscribe to the Talmud as well. But if you are a Karaite Jew, then only the Tanakh alone (less the Talmud) will be required to be subscribed, and nothing more.
The New Testament (Gospel) on the other hand, is fundamentally a biographical journalistic account written during the 1st century by eye and/or ear witnesses who had directly or indirectly interacted with the Jewish Messiah between 30-33 CE in Roman-ruled Judea. In other words, the Gospel will reveal the identity of the suffering servant Messiah prophesied in Isaiah 53.
      Question :
Do you accept the Jewish Messiah described in the Gospel as Isaiah 53's suffering servant, Yes or No?

    • @maimon7081
      @maimon7081 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@deuteronomy6.4bw The short answer is no. Jewish belief does not hold that Isaiah 53 is about the Messiah. But anyway, I think I got your argument. Please feel free to correct me, but essentially it’s this:
premise 1: If you believe in the tanakh, you should believe in the gospel.
premise 2: the gospels reveal the fulfillment of the prophesies of the tanakh.
premise 3: Isaiah 53 is a prophecy referring to the Messiah.
Conclusion: Those who believe in tanakh should accept that the Messianic prophecy of Isaiah 53 is fulfilled by Jesus as revealed by the gospel.
The last thing I want to do is misrepresent you so if you’d like to correct something or to use into different words, please do.

Just to clarify, Jesus has his law now, so the 10 commandments are now nullified and we now take the yoke of Christ? What’s the law of Christ?

    • @johnpratts2856
      @johnpratts2856 2 ปีที่แล้ว

John 14 Shows that Yeshua is one with the Father. And when you read up to John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commandments", you'll understand that Torah is the commandments of the Father. The law of Moses aka the Mosaic Covenant.
The difference is now we are no longer bound by the Law. We are bound by Grace. Meaning, we can do our best to live up to the law and not expect to be perfect so long as we believe in Messiah.
