I'll be honest, when I first made my channel like a year ago, I was following what other youtubers were suggesting by finding relevant videos with open licensing on them (there's the option on upload to allow vs not allow video sampling). Yours happened to have the license toggled on. Its the only video I've done like this, but its not my style of what I'm trying to do with my channel, so will not doing that again. Sorry for not communicating that back at the time.
Thank you for the inspiration! I have a bunch of leftover wood from a past project, and I was thinking what to make with it, and this seems like the perfect project =)
dude most cockpits aren't even that great for ppl who want things a certain way so we build our own to be different unlike ppl like you who copy and paste everything they see a creator do
@@almedasmith4677 I have never felt a strong DD, but if you look at the premium cockpits they are made from thick steel, much stronger/stiff than wood screwed in place. There is a reason cars are not made from wood. Saying that, I don't think this would have a problem with a 5nm DD, but maybe at 15nm there would be.
I'm humbled that you uploaded my video on you channel but a little upset that I was not asked

@@gtgamestv so theft was recommended and you thought "yes, theft is a good idea!"?
What’s even more disturbing is when I googled looking for a video like this, what came up was this rip-off instead of yours.
@@gtgamestv saying sorry but still using the video and not deleting. In your place id be so ashamed of myself...

I have the same wheelbase(v2.5)! How did you mod a full size wheel on there? I can’t find any info on it for this wheelbase specifically
Is there any wobble/play going side to side when drifting? could you make it move by hand if you push on the 2x6 on the side?
I’m going to make for sure one of cockpit like this good hob!
ayo why you upload anothers vid?
0:05 why is this a german plate
It’s a forza horizon custom plate with his name I think
Hi friend! Nice work … have yo the plans? Pls 😄
soooo smaaaaaart !
Ha I was a BMW tech…nice build!

You have over $500 Sim gears, why you setting by making a wood cockpit? You should pair with GT Metal cockpit to look cool.
Dude honestly, not everybody wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a cockpit if what he builds is effective and it works then it's perfect
because looking cool is good for all the "free guys" in the game to see you?
dude most cockpits aren't even that great for ppl who want things a certain way so we build our own to be different unlike ppl like you who copy and paste everything they see a creator do
it looks better and it’s less expensive
With such a build, you should put a disclaimer: not suitable for a direct drive wheel. You'll break or twist the supports.
It should work with smaller DD wheels, CSL DD, Moza R5 / R9
first off, its a stolen video. but second, you do know that this is what they use to build houses right?

I have a 11NM base and a wood rig AND IT DONT TWIST , but I have yrs of carpentry knowledge unlike 99% of DIY sim builders
