People are over-reacting? Noooo. Went to Costco for weekly shopping trip. Longer than usual line to get into parking lot and the aisle with tp, tissue, paper towels, and water - COMPLETELY EMPTY. Food was a lot less than normal. Even at Target, a lot of shoppers with tp and water. No panic at all.

I think people are underestimating Bloomberg. This might be anecdotal, but I live in California and I live in a diverse family. I’m white and my step dad and step sister is black. I’m a conservative and they are moderate democrats. Basically we were out at dinner for his mom’s birthday and the topic of who we were going to vote for came up. I had expected for my step dad to say he was going to vote for Biden, but I was surprised when he said he was voting for Bloomberg. My step sister and his mom said that they were going to vote for Biden or Bloomberg, but they sounded like they were going to choose Bloomberg. I asked him why he chose Bloomberg over Biden, as he was a fervent Obama supporter, and his reasons were that Biden has seemed rather out of control with his temper and the way he’s insulted some of his supporters. I then asked him about stop and frisk, which I assumed would have automatically disqualified Bloomberg due to the racial aspect to it, but he said that while he didn’t agree with stop and frisk and thought it was bad, people make mistakes and that Bloomberg has recanted on stop and frisk. Although this conversation happened while the South Carolina primary was still happening and they might have not seen that Biden was winning, which could possibly sway them, when we got back to the house we all voted together and my step dad and step sister chose Bloomberg.
TL;DR basically I think that people are overlooking Bloomberg and that he might play a larger role than people think.

First the bad news, the number of reported confirmed cases has increased by 18 to a total of 89 confirmed cases. Keep in mind that it takes at least 10 days for the CDC to confirm, and at least two cases in IL were already marked as recovered, which brings me to the good news.
As of a 7:30 AM CST
Total Confirmed: 89,197
Total Deaths: 3048
Total Recovered: 45,175
We have now passed the halfway mark. The Number of people recovered is more than half of the total cases, and deaths combined.
What we will see in the coming weeks is an increase in number of cases reported in the US. However please keep the following in mind. First it takes 10 days for the CDC to confirm a diagnosis. In most cases the person is already recovered when they get the official DX. Second unless you're in a high risk group, you may have the virus and think its just a bad cold.
Perhaps they should have the ending candidates play rock-payer-scissors to decide who gets the nomination. :-P

Everyone - If a political advertisement (ad) can influence your vote - then you should no be allowed to vote (period). To clarify - you should conduct your own independent research to find out what the candidates are about and then make your choice. Do not fall prey to foolish and in many cases false political ads. Again, if an ad can garner your vote, then you should not be allowed to vote.

I'm sticking to my original Coronavirus prediction of ~100,000,000 dead world wide with most of the deaths in Asia and Africa due to that is where most people on the planet are and the lack of healthcare infrastructure. Actually, this shows precisely why early voting is incredible. Were it not for the early votes, Buttigieg may not have dropped out, and the final vote would have had immensely more wasted votes for Buttigieg.

Do you honestly think hospitals etc get their protective masks from Home Depot? Please! First of all China makes all the masks and they're not shipping. They're in short supply here. N95 masks according to CDC are approved for coronavirus. As long as there is not an outbreak in your area you don't need to wear PPE. If an outbreak occurs please educate yourself on appropriate PPE and how to wear.

Some states have more Democrats that are more moderate or centrist. Some have more that are leftist. The candidates are all further left in their policy proposals than Barack Obama. Even Biden, tho closer to Obama , has embraced more "open border" type policies and more intrusive gun control. Some differences in vote will be those things, some just personality differences. For example, many find Warren deeply unlikable. Does this help?
@@lorahiggins4006 A bit thank you, but why is it that in the first few states Biden didn't come close to a win (correct me if I'm wrong) and in SC he murdered the other candidates. In the Netherlands you have 12 'provincies' -a sort of mini states- but the differences here in voting behaviour are almost non existent between these provincies. It is unthinkable that Candidate A receives 50 percent of the votes in provincie X and 20 percent in provincie Y. Sorry if it isn't completely understandable, graduaded with a 5 (is a C- I think) for English
@@DanDek your English is impressive!! Part of those differences come from the various demographics of a particular state. For example, it was widely expected that Biden would have more support in South Carolina. South Carolina has the highest black voting block. Because Biden was Obama's VP he is popular there. Blacks in America tend to be more religious and more conservative. They would less likely to vote for an openly homosexual man like Buttigieg or a socialist like Bernie. Tomorrows votes will be interesting to watch.

I love Ben's show and his values. We agree on principles 98% of the time. But, damn if he isn't horrible at predicting election results. So I'll this all with a grain of salt and see what happens.
Klobuchar and Buttigieg drop out and endorse Biden. Biden ends Super Tuesday in second place behind Sanders, but he is now a viable alternative who will then enter states more friendly to him (Florida, Georgia, etc). Bloomberg drops out after disappointing showings in Super Tuesday states which then gives the entire moderate lane to Joe Biden. All of this still may not be enough to overpass Bernie’s momentum, but this is definitely a good moment for Joe Biden.

I generally think the conservative side and those that actually pay attention by listening to shows like this are intelligent. Yet I can't understand why all these shill gold companies advertise on conservative media. Most of gold's value is because it is rare and people wanting status symbols might pay for it. Yet, like suits, it is losing ground for even rich people. And no economic collapse in the last 400+ years resulted in going to a gold standard. Food, guns, and ammo will be far more valuable than gold if the US economy were to collapse to the point of say Venezuela.
