I have written Ford off completely from any future purchases because of dealer markups. I refuse to pay for depreciating assets that will be belly up in loans if it gets totaled where the bank won't back me up l. Absolutely no sence to pay over market rate because in 20 years they will be worthless lol
I highly doubt this will be 80k other trucks in its class are going for 47k-63k so I’m guessing this will be in that price range

On a serious note, love the truck! On joking note, curious what outrageous markups dealers have in store for this.
My local Ford dealer wanted to sell me an F150 Raptor for a "bargain". That bargain price was $101,000....for a base spec. No 37PP or anything.
That was my thoughts exactly when I saw the video in my feed. I can't wait to see them sitting at the local Stealerships with a 40%-50% markup.

My dealership wants US$30,000 over MSRP, I turned them into Ford customer service this morning and they said the dealer has 100% control over how much they sell the truck for even if it’s over MSRP…

Was excited about this truck till I realized premium gas is 20 cents more a gallon than diesel...at least in VA right now. Thought this would be a good small trailer hauler, but prob just stick with my old 7.3 powerstroke for now. I can't believe my truck is over 20 years old and I still can't find anything I want to replace it with.

Why did you remove the rear ac vents and leave them in the global model?
Very disappointing considering the rest of the competition for mid size trucks have started or already had rear ac vents, just will have to wait and see if the new tacoma will have rear ac vents.

Things are coming full circle! I have my brand new Bronco Raptor!... My husband has a has a gen 1 Raptor and just traded his gen 2 for the Raptor R, and I know he'll be buying the mid-sized Ranger Raptor, for overland type use! We will have a big happy Raptor family!

You must not have kids 😂… I’d be driving those if I didn’t have 7 kids… just dropped $5k on braces, $6k on a violin 🎻, $500 on a beginners violin, $200 a month for middle daughter tutoring, $500 a month for 3 daughters to do gymnastics, and the list goes on… I’ll live vicariously through you two and others who can pay the prices over MSRP that every dealership I’ve called is requiring to obtain one of there coveted single allocated Trucks for 2024…

There's gonna be a huge slowdown in auto sales this year.
If you're worrying about interest rates, you can't afford the truck in the first place! $15-30K markups on this truck will be the norm and that's ridiculous! BTW, cash is king!

Great truck Ford. Perfect size, perfect execution of powerplant and suspension so as to not need clearance lights. I'll take mine with a sunroof. It doesn't need to be a new sunroof where the whole roof is glass, just and old school power sunroof will do.
Unfortunately that isn’t a option well here in Australia anyway. I ordered one a few weeks ago and asked for one and it’s not a option. it’s not even in future discussions I was told

I called 5 dealerships and all of them want 10-30k USD over MSRP for the new Ranger Raptor… why would anybody pay that? The resale value will be horrendous and with high interest rates payment will be ridiculous…

My '21 model has the Fox 2.5in shocks and they make 0 noise. I'm expecting the Fox Live Valve in this new version to be even better.

@ford why is the ranger raptor the only one that didn’t get the amber drls? I know why the ranger didn’t get the marker lights. I’m specifically talking about the headlights. It just seems to be a trademark of the raptor with both the f150 and bronco having amber drls.
57,985 for 3.0tt i6 suspension shocks beefed plates and frame. 18k more than a lariat fx4. 18k for all of those options seems par to me. Mark ups tho good luck

I would be surprised if it's only $10k. Here in Vegas area Raptor F150 have a $20k markup and Raptor Bronco $30k markup. Despite more than one on the lot. That's the dealer closest to me at least. Hope the others around here aren't so bad.

i heard a rumor about global model of Ranger Raptor from outside US will add a 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine for optional like previous generation of Ranger Raptor which had only 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine.

they offered automatic transmission only.
They don't put manuals in these, it compromises the drive train ratios.
A few things that Ranger Raptor needs...1) A sunroof. 2) Heated and cooled seats. Cooled, not ventilated. 3) Rear seat HVAC. And finally, 4) An R model with the 3.5!!! Otherwise, It IS the perfect truck!!

The 5.0 won’t meet cafe epa mpg requirements for this size vehicle. If you want a 5.0 full size get one now as it will be going away in a few years

Regular 6G ranger gets the 2.7l and the Raptor gets the 3.0l. Regular Ranger is supposed to start at like $32k for the way base model.

A bit late ford. I have had my Tacoma for 2 years now and I don’t see a reason to upgrade. If anything I’m waiting to see what the next Tacoma will offer. Wish that’s was around in 2020 when I sold my f150 for a smaller off-road truck.

Yes, both are midsized trucks. The Raptors closest competition is going to be either the Tacoma TRD-PRO, or the new Trail Hunter. Waiting to see them compete head to head. Leaning towards the Raptor.

They should have just shrunk the current F150 raptor which looks and feel like an 18 wheeler
