This pick-up truck (or in Australia, we call them utes), sounds really great compared to the previous version of the Raptor. No other truck in this segment can match the sound of this pick-up.
In terms of power and torque outputs, the Ranger Raptor EcoBoost Bi-Turbo V6 we get here has 397 hp and 583 Nm, whereas the European market like yours in Germany and the UK has been detuned to 292 hp and 491 Nm, which is a real shame.
I'm sure the Euro spec is a remap away from the AUDMs

In South Africa 🇿🇦, they call them as bakkies and in Europe 🇪🇺 and the UK 🇬🇧, they are called trucks.
And finally, in the US 🇺🇸, the general public call this type of cars as pick-up trucks.

Fuel is 1c in the Usa and 87ron rubbish. Fuel in EU is 95ron and very expensive

In Asia, the spec of this car model gets twin turbo-3 litres 392hp, while, in US, the spec goes up to over 400hp

Thanks for the video. Here we have these too, but I never met one. I was curious to know how it would drive, 2 meters high, 2500 kg and a v6 benzine engine. It's a luxury pickup, good choice if you have a family. I am afraid that every modified pick-up truck will dance around it. I have an older Ford Ranger, and it is no match for me. I will keep my money in my pocket 😉

American and Australians get 400hp from the same setup. Is there a way for this to be mapped/tuned to 400 with not much (if any) hardware interventions?
It should be. I'm sure it's just a chip remap tune and "voila". It's the same exact engine with the same set up so it has to be the computer tune making the difference. An easy adjustment. So it's not really a big deal. When you get bored just find a good mechanic and unlock your engine.

Buying the australian ecu wouldn't fix the restrictions in europe? Turbos and engine are the same... Any admision restricctions? Canister? Extra catalizers? Size of the airbox? Wiuldnt be difficult to get it to full power for europe i guess

Non so, io sto pensando di vendere il mio mercedes X350D V6 Turbo 3L gasolio con con questo Ranger raptor ma dal video che ho visto non mi sembra che abbia un motore più prestante del mio. Io arrivo da 0 a 100km/h in 6.5 secondi. Considerando che il mio veicolo pesa circa 2.6 tonnellate, mi sembra che sia più prestante. Ma è un V6 diesel o stai mostrando il benzina? È poi vedo che i miei NM sono circa 750.

The tires on the ranger raptor are all terrain tires, that makes a huge different. But to be fair, just test drive it. I did a test drive with the 292hp version and was blown away by everything, just like every other youtube reviewer. Speed is nice but i sold my bmw 330i g20 wich goes 0-100 in 5.5 seconds. But the 6 cilinder of the ford vs the 4 cilinder of the g20 330i is incomparible. The driving experience of that v6 is so good and smooth.. and the suspension and ride quality also nails it. Not to mention this truck is an offroad beast! Just try it..

The Raptors are Ford's line of desert race truck. They aren't really intended to be work vehicles or stoplight dragsters. They are made to fly across the desert at high speed.

The Ranger Raptor is a mid-size. Pretty easy to park in town. A Crew Cab Long Bed F250/F350/F450 is 56 inches/1.4 meters longer.
yes. correct. in America. even though i live in America, the context of my remark was more towards the European audience. as this is a German auto review channel; not an American one. parking in Europe is quite different than the US. and a "midsize" here, translates to "super sized" over there. at least that was my line of thinking 6 months ago when this review came out.@@rich7447
If only we had the V6 raptor in the Philippines…….. what we have here is a crippled raptor (2.0 bi-turbo). Don’t get me wrong, its still a raptor BUT without a V6, its kinda underwhelming.

Unlikely that they will be a small v6 diesel available to go in the Ranger Raptor anytime soon. Ford killed the 3L Powerstroke. You can get a diesel in the Tremor (F250/F350), but it is a v8 diesel. The standard output version is 475hp 1050 lb ft/1428 nm of torque and the high output is 500 hp and 1200 lb ft/1632nm of torque.

Another ford raptor dealers will mark up over MSRP and people will pay driving up the rediculous cost for the trim model. The 150 went for 10K over MSRP, The Bronco 30K over MSRP. Im done with Fords

Schönes Stadtauto. Keine 500 Nm, aber 2,5 Tonnen schwer. Fährt bestimmt gut mit Anhängelast.
Es ist ja auch ein Benziner und kein Diesel. Natürlich hat der weniger Drehmoment, dafür dreht er halt 50% höher als ein Diesel. In meinen Augen das wesentlich entspanntere Fahren als das kleine Drehzahlband eines Dieselmotors.
