I would say talking about Tanya a fair few times online now, considering she never talks about him is kinda clinging on to the past! Just my opinion though!

I guess what matters is that when he does speak about her, it's not in a negative manner, which is great! I'm glad they have both moved on
I’ve watched Jim for years and loved this podcast so much. It’s great to hear him being so honest about him & Tanya. I saw a change in Tanya when she got seriously in to her “acting” and I felt that at the time I heard they had split up I thought the reason may have been due to Jim possibly wanting family etc, and Tanya not ready for that as she was off trying to become a big movie star. I actually thought it was Tanya that went in a different direction. Having listened to this I feel I may have hit the nail on the head. Jim is a true Gent and I would never have thought for a minute that he would have cheated. Jim & Sarah are going to be amazing parents and I wish them all the best. ❤️❤️

I really enjoyed this interview. Jim was so raw and open and honest and I love when guests bring that to an episode so willingly. It was good to see this other side to Jim as I know of him from growing up watching him on TH-cam but there is so much more to him beyond that and I appreciate that this interview divulged in that side more than the TH-cam side of things, it was great to learn what other projects he's been working on and hearing about his personal life so huge respect for steering the conversations more on that side of things. I’ve watched most of these interviews and I must say that this is by far my favourite. Jim is incredibly emotionally intelligent. The way he articulates his thoughts at such an elevated, yet accessible, way is very captivating.
Haven’t watching Jim in years and there’s no reason why just I guess wasn’t my thing anymore but to hear what he has been through has really changed my mind on him. Respect for sharing his story
This hit my differently. My dad was abusive as I was growing up, and he also has MS. It’s taken me a long time to heal from those wounds and see it the same way Jim does. Thank you for this. Growing up in a household like that he is describing is incredibly isolating, especially when the abuser is ill. I wish Jim and his family all the best 🧡

This is a really lovely interview. I've been a fan of Jim for a long time and I've always respected him and valued him and his content. I think it was brave for him to do this and I think this is a really honest portrayal of a guy who works hard. I just stumbled upon this video and its been so helpful for my own struggles right now. Jim's such a lovely man and I hope everyone else understands this too.
Sam mentioned it a few times in the early days of Pixiwoo. I have my suspicions about what happened. Sam’s the oldest and bore the brunt of the trauma. She’s an amazing woman. Judy, their mom is such a survivor, too. Great family!
Jim is so honest and I’ve had a very similar experience with my father. So it’s nice to be able to hear a similar experience as it’s hard to talk about with anyone. I used to watch Jim’s videos religiously and as I grew up I grew out of them... seeing him so raw and honest has shown me how much he’s grown up since my teen years and shows how gracefully someone grow up in the public eye and still be true to himself 🙏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 such a great podcast Steven 😊
How odd to have got so much backlash over something that wasn’t true and then lean the audience towards understanding that Tanya had actually moved on first. Leaving it at that has the audience now calling her the cheater but she possibly moved on first after they’d had this conversation of bringing the relationship to an end when Jim also acknowledged that they had been moving in separate directions for quite some time prior to the conversation. Who knows… all this should teach us is what we should already know - relationships are complex and unless you’re one of the two breaking up then stay out of it. I loved watching Jim and Tans vlogs and truly do wish them both all the very best ❤

Life is too short to be thinking about latest trends, posting negative comments on social media or even hurting people’s feelings. Just try to be kind to people and stay happy!
Aside from the childhood aspect. Which I know is a massive part of his journey. Much of this resonates with m,e when it comes to therapy and being unable to "turn off" my mind. This is because I have ADHD, and I pick up many of the traits in this podcast.

Hi, I'll be honest and say that this is the first one of your videos that I have watch (stumbled across the promotion clip for this episode on TikTok) and I would just like to say that I love your style of content. This was such an insightful video and as someone who watched Jim back in the "golden" age of TH-cam it was really interesting to see this open yet comfortable style of interview. As a current media production student I can only hope that I will be able to make content to this level one day.

Absolutely loved this! Jim you should do more deep talking videos. I love psychology, human behaviour, where does it come from. None of us are perfect, we are all flawed in some way, but sometimes recognising negative behaviour is the road to healing and improving yourself. And also being proud of your qualities and who we are is more important than focusing on our negative points. You come across so well and so knowledgeable and interesting. I can see how much you love Sarah and how good she is for you. So you've definitely found your soul mate. 😊

I’ve met Jim several times few times by accident. we’ve sometimes been in the same place at the same time. Jim is honestly the kindest most caring person I have ever met had drinks with him. Jim is also the reason why I am now married to my best friend

I didn't know who it was until this podcast, but I am so impressed with his maturity and self awareness! People (especially young men!!) in the public eye need to preach about therapy and mental health SO much more, for this world to change for the better! I so wish I knew what I know now as a 40yo (regarding my upbringing, family dynamics, etc., which nearly destroyed me), as I strongly believe I would be in a better place in my life now, had I made those changes at the age of 25. Never too late though. Another wonderful interview! x ps. Steven you finally convinced me to try Huel (which I used to perceive as a fancy hipster drink for gym people), and I LOVE it!! Costs as much as a sandwich from Pret, but has SO much more value and fills me up for longer! :)
Great interview, really needed to hear this today. I don’t know a lot about Jim and his career but I’m in a similar situation as him in that we’re expecting our first child mid 2022. Having a lot of experience with mental health, namely depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, my wife and I have real concerns about how we’ll navigate the issue of mental health with our child. Hearing Jim’s insight into anxiety and mental health and how he plans to navigate that with his child in the future was extremely enlightening and refreshing.
Would love Jim to start a podcast series catching up with the OG TH-cam group. Even just hearing from his siblings and mother would great 4 great episodes.

I know I wouldn't like anyone to know my relationship issues online and speculate. It must be incredibly hard to have such an intimate issue blown up on the Internet when it has got nothing to do with either of us. There is hurt and pain regardless of their public status. I found out a lot. Was very surprised about his father. Also didn’t know his fiancé is pregnant 😍. I never knew he had studied psychology. I reflected on myself because I remember Jim and Tanya breaking up and Jim moving on and I was like omg they were so perfect together but really it’s none of my business and I thought it was nice how you concluded that breakups don’t have to be horrible and you shouldn’t stay in a marriage if it no longer feels right even if your partner is a nice person and you have great memories together. And in general I think online hate and abuse is absolutely terrible and people need to address it more.

Came to look for this. As he was talking I realized he was an earth sign then as he kept talking I realized it might be capricorn. I'm infj as well and I'm a very empathetic person like him. My mom was a but abusive and I have similar views as him on the situation.
I never questioned the split to be honest but I had a feeling it wouldn't be to do with Jim. Tanya ended up becoming so full of herself and so nonchalant after she got some fame.

Absolutely loved this! Jim you should do more deep talking videos. I love psychology, human behaviour, where does it come from. None of us are perfect, we are all flawed in some way, but sometimes recognising negative behaviour is the road to healing and improving yourself. And also being proud of your qualities and who we are is more important than focusing on our negative points. You come across so well and so knowledgeable and interesting. I can see how much you love Sarah and how good she is for you. So you've definitely found your soul mate. 😊
The interview really resonated with me. I identify a lot with Jim and how he behaves, and yes therapy helped me recognise that anxiety was driving this.
Just recently found the channel, I subscribed and I absolutely love it. I've always followed Jim, he is an all round decent bloke and came across exactly as I thought he would. I really wish him and Sarah all the best on their new chapter in life. x

I’ve met Jim several times few times by accident. we’ve sometimes been in the same place at the same time. Jim is honestly the kindest most caring person I have ever met had drinks with him. Jim is also the reason why I am now married to my best friend

I didn't know who it was until this podcast, but I am so impressed with his maturity and self awareness! People (especially young men!!) in the public eye need to preach about therapy and mental health SO much more, for this world to change for the better! I so wish I knew what I know now as a 40yo (regarding my upbringing, family dynamics, etc., which nearly destroyed me), as I strongly believe I would be in a better place in my life now, had I made those changes at the age of 25. Never too late though. Another wonderful interview! x
ps. Steven you finally convinced me to try Huel (which I used to perceive as a fancy hipster drink for gym people), and I LOVE it!! Costs as much as a sandwich from Pret, but has SO much more value and fills me up for longer! :)
Great interview, really needed to hear this today. I don’t know a lot about Jim and his career but I’m in a similar situation as him in that we’re expecting our first child mid 2022. Having a lot of experience with mental health, namely depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, my wife and I have real concerns about how we’ll navigate the issue of mental health with our child. Hearing Jim’s insight into anxiety and mental health and how he plans to navigate that with his child in the future was extremely enlightening and refreshing.

We can form opinions and judge them, but we forget that they are going through something really personal on a public platform. I know I wouldn't like anyone to know my relationship issues online and speculate. It must be incredibly hard to have such an intimate issue blown up on the Internet when it has got nothing to do with either of us. There is hurt and pain regardless of their public status. Loved this podcast. Will subscribe for more.
Today was my first theory session and I can’t help but notice how I’ve stumbled across this podcast with Jim pretty much describing many similar reasons to why I decided to go to therapy also! I’ve learnt a lot already from this podcast & Jim is amazing! So thanks

I found out a lot. Was very surprised about his father. Also didn’t know his fiancé is pregnant 😍. I never knew he had studied psychology. I reflected on myself because I remember Jim and Tanya breaking up and Jim moving on and I was like omg they were so perfect together but really it’s none of my business and I thought it was nice how you concluded that breakups don’t have to be horrible and you shouldn’t stay in a marriage if it no longer feels right even if your partner is a nice person and you have great memories together. And in general I think online hate and abuse is absolutely terrible and people need to address it more.

Capricorn archetype is so right and I'd also go as far saying he is intuitive, like an INTJ/INFJ.
Came to look for this. As he was talking I realized he was an earth sign then as he kept talking I realized it might be capricorn. I'm infj as well and I'm a very empathetic person like him. My mom was a but abusive and I have similar views as him on the situation.

I never questioned the split to be honest but I had a feeling it wouldn't be to do with Jim. Tanya ended up becoming so full of herself and so nonchalant after she got some fame.
