Yes, at first glance. I'll let certain kinds of spiders live in my house, most anything but brown recluse and black widow. They have their own corners and I ask the cleaning people to let them be.

The bobcat was rabid. And yes, wife was carrying a cat in a carrier; they were on their way to the vet. Both husband and wife were given heavy doses of rabies vaccines.

Somehow horses seem to have the same attitude as my budgies. And I would not dare to ride an animal that is as easily scared as my birds. 🙈
There are only 2 things horses are afraid of: things that move, and things that don't.
I've met horses that are scared of: white gates (any other colour is fine), pillar boxes, witches' knickers (those ragged plastic bags caught in trees), bobble hats and policemen.
This is the exact example I give when I tell people I don’t like horses. An animal that can kill you on accident is terrified of wind.
Yes, I discovered through a faulty zipper on a snowsuit that tucking an Apple for my horse in Iceland into a plastic bag and then into my snowsuit was not a good idea. Poor thing! We were going at a full trot, and when that zipper had slipped down, and the wind whipped that bag out, he jumped sideways. I did not go with him

@@sapphireblue4031 thats true, it was oak I was attempting to cut. I'll start with pine and work my skill up to the hard wood. I'll try the tounge method too, that should be easy as I tried to cut it like a beaver which also didn't go well. Nature is hard 😥

The one with the bobcat was actually a sad story, because it had rabies. It first attacked the woman's legs (she was carrying their house cat in a carrier). Her husband pulled the bobcat off her with his bare hands, but got clawed up pretty badly as well, so he just threw it. The bobcat was later shot and the couple required treatment and rabies shots.
