What is it about people in audiences that makes them think it's OK to just hack out loud like that, not even pretending to suppress it. I feel like giving them a straight right to the throat when they do that.
Ahh yes blue man group, the group we as a band went to see in Florida, the group we didn’t know used strobe lights (I have epilepsy) I had a jacket in me to cover my face but that didn’t stop me from cussing the entire group out, when uh little did I know, one member of the group was standing on the back of my chair listening to the entirety of me cussing their group out, I got so scared I cussed just a wee bit more
Tsunami it’s machine learning, recommendation just sees this is popular, the people that watched this maybe watched another video you did and then it recommends it to you because it sees shared interest through that other video
Every time it goes back to the open 5th quarter notes, I immediately want to sing the Proclaimers. It's the same tempo as "when I wake up, well ah no am gonnae be, am gonnae be tha man who wakes up next to you"

1940's: one day there will be handheld devices that can tell you anything you've ever wanted to know whenever you want. 2019: you wanna see a video of the james bond theme song played with PVC tubes while we wait for our uber?
What the heck are those, just various sizes of mailing tubes or PVC pipe? LOL, good job, very creative. But shouldn't those be shaken, not stirred? Just saying.
Gotta admit, that's pretty cool. What I find especially impressive is the timing required to get all the notes in the correct rhythm. Hope your thighs heal quickly!
Stephen Mataganog it's all timing and basic drumming skills. They all look like they have some experience drumming before hand so maybe a week or two to get it 90% down.
we had these in grade 1 or 2 and just played less elaborate songs like für Elise and twinkle twinkle little star :) they weren't that difficult to learn as long as you could keep a beat and knew where on the tube to hit
I'd say , if you have musicians who know what they are doing: 2-3 repetitions sessions of 2 hours to find out how exactly to do it. Then some general repitition of half an hour to finish it in a satisfactory manner and ready to go for performance.
Why all the hateful hurtful negative comments?. These people are really good at this. It's cool and artsy and extremely creative. Just because you people haven't done anything that gets so much attention oh, stop putting others down. It's just mean. And it says a whole lot of negative about you. This video is really cool. And I really enjoyed it.
There's some serious thigh-pounding going on here! Absolutely amazing they manage to keep in rythm through this sheen of pain they must be experiencing everything while playing. Until I remembered the many hours of practice that must have gone into performing this. Then, well, I don't know. Considering that it's not actually necessary to use the player's thighs in order to produce the sounds. That changes the whole thing ever so slightly.
Cool. Guess I'm not the only one who has used empty paper towel and wrapping paper rolls to get music. Great Do-it-yourself didgeridoos. Great job guys and gal.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Science has pretty conclusively demonstrated that play and playfulness improve study habits and influence grades positively. Besides, what makes you think these students are doing this instead of studying?
this is actually really impressive because instead of each person playing a different instrument, but having all the notes for that instrument under their control, the notes are spread out across the whole group. If you watch how they play, you can see the melody be "passed around" from person to person (not the physical boomwhackers, but the notes that they play, although the passing of the boomwhackers is cool too). Each part of the song is not restricted to one person, and so it takes extra coordination and practice to make sure not only each part is timed together, but every note of every part is played with the correct timing.
Brilliant!, You guys are now in my favourites list with the ukulele orchestra of Great Britain, superb work I believe even John Barrie would be impressed, I would love to hear you try the original Lallo Schiffrin version of the Mission Impossible Theme

they’re really thin plastic tubes meant to be whacked or hit, hence the name boomwhackers :)
They are tuned plastic pipes normally used for beginning music classes to teach rhythm and melody.
And I’m pretty sure that counts as being shaken
We had these in music class and it hurt so much after a while just punching yourself over and over with a coloured pipe for the sake of music.
They are colored sticks of discord

As a music educator, all I can say is that boomwhakers are a blast!
It was a really cool session!! Greetings from Germany
That was wonderful. I only wish the sound quality was better.
