Ah, you already know some secrets about the Aggie Band! Their ever-changing drill routines always keep me on the edge of my seat, wondering what amazing formations they'll pull off next. And yeah, the live-in dorms, shared meals, and daily uniforms - that's a level of commitment you don't see everywhere. As a former band student in Jr. High and High School, I applaud this amazing band! We were a small town band and didn't have as big of a band, but we did marched Military style! I can not stand the current trend in high schools where the bands are marching less and doing more show tunes. This is old-school rank and squad drill. Every marcher has their drill written down in steps, they don't even need charts. It looks impressive, but for the marcher is really quite simple. Back in the 50's, 60's, everybody did this - now it's all corps style drills. Not taking anything away from this - it's awesome! Wish more bands dipped their toes into this style from time to time.
It looks simpler to me than you described. All they are doing is following the the marcher in front of them. Follow the leader where the leaders are the flag carriers. Watch closely and will see this. The flag carriers have to know steps and direction. Easier for them since they are not performing music at the same time.
I was in marching band in high school and although I loved doing parades, trying to learn different positions every week for the football games was brutal. That performance was beautiful, amazing and insanely difficult. I just kept waiting for a trombone to knock someone else or two tubas to collide. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us. I may have to start watching college football just to see the halftime performances.
Take the time to view The Ohio State Marching Band. Different every week and famous Script Ohio. Life long Iowa fan here but the Buckeye marching band tops them all.
^^^ they could NEVER EVER be the best. there are a few HBCU MARCHING BANDS that would leave this aggie band in the desert dust. maybe, you should get out of college station more...
They are a marching military band. The Aggies once invited Prairie View A&M to perform at halftime and the crowd gave them a standing applause. Their band all laid down on the field while playing and it was the only halftime that they lost.
bull shit, gig that! any band can do what they do and more. example: watch ohio state and many others. also, i was in the usa army performing at the royal tatoo in london and we would.ve shamed you. however, i enjoy watching the band and they're impressive. to say the finest in the world??
Fun fact, when they started using computers to plan and organize these shows, the program wouldn't insert the 4-way cross through, saying it was physically impossible.
I suppose I'm just an old school fool.. BUT I know I'm not alone wishing super bowl half time would feature this . ABSOLUTE inspiring football halftime
Not a single straggler. Not a single accidental bump into another band member. Not even the guys beating the drums or carrying the large tubas bumped into anyone. How impressive!!!
My first roommate in college played in a marching band. I thought it was a little goofy until he told me that he performed in front of over 100,000 people in one of his competitions.

OH!
@@robertduerr4688IO!
Absolutely genius & super entertaining!
I agree that they are the best! Please post more videos of Aggies! 😂
Nice to hear that :) I will try to do that! Thank you.
Not sure what I'd rather call them, but they're way beyond "marching band" !!!❤
04:05 They all signed a history.. Congratulations..
I am in awe of these amazing students. They do belong at Super Bowl halftime. Then I’d probably stay tuned!😮😅
The best precision marching band in the world.
bull shit, gig that! any band can do what they do and more. example: watch ohio state and many others. also, i was in the usa army performing at the royal tatoo in london and we would.ve shamed you. however, i enjoy watching the band and they're impressive. to say the finest in the world??
Don't think so.
Nope-a real snooze fest.
The Fighting Texas Aggie band never lost a halftime.
Gig 'em!
I love marching bands. Some of them do amazing configurations and it's hard to do; plus play an instrument.
I totally agree!
How in the world do they remember all the steps to each formation. Amazing.
I am gobsmacked--simply gobsmacked! I can't even cross the street straight.
Fun fact, when they started using computers to plan and organize these shows, the program wouldn't insert the 4-way cross through, saying it was physically impossible.
It's annoying when people say "fun fact" and they're full of it.
Outstanding performance, really tight & hardly a stretch; way better than a rubber band. Cheers!
Wonderful performance. The choreography is outstanding.
The spatial awareness is astounding!
I'd want to be in THIS band! Awesome!!
And older adults complain youth lack motivation and discipline! Stunning formations. Congratulations!!
In Texas we are all proud of the Texas Aggies ❤
As an aggie, we are proud of to be a part of TEXAS. :)
Don't speak for me.
The band yes, A&M, no.
I love a marching band and the Aggies band is the best.
I suppose I'm just an old school fool..
BUT I know I'm not alone wishing super bowl half time would feature this .
ABSOLUTE inspiring football halftime
When I was in high school, we called our football band, the marching zombies, lack of motivation. But it was fun anyhow.
Not a single straggler. Not a single accidental bump into another band member. Not even the guys beating the drums or carrying the large tubas bumped into anyone. How impressive!!!
Oh that is very good. Well done!
My first roommate in college played in a marching band. I thought it was a little goofy until he told me that he performed in front of over 100,000 people in one of his competitions.
Crazy good. I wish the video quality on playback was better for more detail
@bcman8670 This is also in 4K resolution; however, due to the netting behind of the goals, the focus may not appear perfectly sharp. Please take a moment to explore my channel for more content, featuring even higher resolution than this:

Respect and Love ❤️ Thank's and Bless you and your Community 🙏 ❤️ Congratulations 😂Beautiful
It's 2024. Texas A&M and Texas will renew their rivalry this year. I hope the band performs this maneuver at that game.
My wife graduated from Texas A&M. Her favorite record is still "10,000 rabid Aggies sing Hullaballu Kinik Kinik and other Aggie Fight Songs."
Band director should coach the Cowboys offense!!!
Damn, that takes a lot of practice! Beautifully done!
Well done, USA. Admiration from Australia.
WOWsr. Saw some new things from the Ags! I was in band through college at Arkansas. Need to go back an look closer. Some things that look good are 101 jr high level. They have put in some good moves. Marching is a math exercise.
I would also venture to say "the greatest fan interaction with a band." OO AH! Boom Boom! Where else can you find this?
Nowhere 😊
The Drum Major is actually saying Recaaaall…. step ooooff… oooooon… hullabaloooo! 😊
