@@nitev4407 thanks for checking out the video. It was definitely a big kit and the if you know what you are doing it can be a pretty rewarding kit but you're going to have to put some work in.
I do like the avian legs and head designs. I wished it had more of a organic feel with the armor, and it looks more that way with the close ups, but it still look over all very good, despite not all the parts feel like the flow together all the well esthetical speaking. IT certainly seems worth getting anyway.
I agree. I think it is worth a look and really if you have tolhe ability to fix minor problems it will be a decent build. I always review from the beginner perspective
I am totally getting it. Probably gonna rebuild that front piece. Your right when you say for builders that customize this is going to be amazing ! For a beginner it could turn into a nightmare !
It’s visually nice which is enough for what I’d do with it. Main thing for me is having something that aesthetically can sit next to the rg hi Nu without looking weird. The hg looks like a kids toy next to it.
@@MetalmanX guess it’s just down to price on whether I’ll grab it. If I can get it for like £40-50 then sure. Anything higher is trying to challenge something like a motor nuclear kit or in era, which this just can’t justify.
@@nnrmnlgI think the point more is that in most art the nightingale is sort of natural leaning forward so all it’s thrusters point back as oppose to standing normally.
I think it was rumored there is going to be an exclusive first batch of the model with some extra armor in clear colorless or clear red. I may be remembering a different kit, so don’t take my word for it. For the life of me can’t remember where I read that 😂
thank you for the review! The design looks really cool but it seems to suffer from a lot of the issues that quite a few third party kits from new companies run into. Itll be interesting to see where the company goes from here, the nightingale is already quite the product to start off with
Oh, they're actually shipping it already? I could only find the test sample reviews without the decals. Are there any other noticeable tweaks to the kit? (it was said they'll "improve" it by full release) Given that you already built it, ofc
Cough Mechanicore cough I get what you’re saying though. The Mechanicore models are notoriously too big, too statue-esque, and a pain to build with poor fitment and sharp parts. This one seems to be half the hassle though, so it wouldn’t be bad to have a 1/100 reprint in the future. But they likely went for 1/144 because a lot of people can’t fit a 1/100 nightingale in their collection, or just don’t want one that big, and the 1/144 is a least a good half cheaper to make and design than the 1/100.
@@SamRK-1000 thats too funny.. im currently sanding and painting my charon with uv reactive pigments. im a huge fan of BIG and pointy personally. like i would be 100% ok with a PG penelope. i get why they do it, but im not giving them any money for anything under 1/100.
@@kaisertech I'm really hoping it is different by retail release. It is obvious there were a lot of design changes going on when mine was printed. Not really crappy though but flawed.

Surprised to hear that this wasn't actually made by solomon. Hopefully that company is working on gp01 for their next work

I think it will look nice next to the hi nu. One of the reasons I still think it's worth a pickup if your trying to complete the set

I think the hg nightingale is still bigger
The hg have wider wingspand and length across the body, the “rg” is taller
The legs are too thin, it could be better if the legs are chonkier
