Best kit ever made, o recently finished mine , main change I made was move the cockpit light to the head and carve out slots for the side parts to light up .
Then I moved the wing LED bords to the flaps under the back instead of inside the wings because it makes it easier to hide the wires honestly.
i copied the video supplied but yeah there are better ways to hide the wires for sure, i may revisit this when i add the water slides and tidy it up a bit. One of those never never projects ha ha
Good stuff, i just installed the led kit yesterday. Took me all day but got it done. Sky Defender+ led best kit of 2024. Or top 3 at least.
so many great kits to come and the infinite dimensions nemesis will be a great counter part for display next to the sky defender, watch this space

Which one standard or deluxe? And is deluxe metal options worth extra $$$
I had no idea there was a different version, the version i got was a first edition so im assuming deluxe ?
some stores like bbts just selling standard and hobby stores selling deluxe only. It’s a $50-$80 difference in price. I just wanna to know is metal options joints worth it or make a different in posing for weight concerns.
oh ok the metal joints don't add to much weight but do offer more support i guess, posing has not been an issue and holds any pose i put it in nicely. if its worth that extra premium im not sure i wasnt aware they did a non metal version.
iam so jelly. i have the sky defender. my led set is still on pre order on the site i buy all my stuff...
and i want a install guide.. watching a 2h vid to insert the led set kinda sucks :D
and everybody should get a sky defender! it will look so good when the ID nemesis is out . even though the nemesis is just 1/100 :x
i used the app supplied with the kit to check all the bite size clips to install it step by step

One thing that I just hate most about are the battery. I wish that got rid of it altogether and just go with a built-in rechargeable battery as the better choice. I hate buying junk batteries that barely last 3 days at best.
Totally agree the plug in battery adapter is so redundant adds bulk and is cheap old tech, they could have like you said made the pack rechargeable with a pass through option for mains. A point I failed to raise in the video nice point
Man can anyone please please help me find the LED kosmo light kit in English or a paper copy?! Something? I’m scared to start my build without a good guide 😢

@ I know! I really don’t want to have to risk breaking any parts disassembling to add the lights, rather build all of it together! They give you barcodes for Chinese TH-cam videos that I still haven’t found a step by step!
Maybe I should do my best to apply the kit and make a video then
