Haven't seen many blocks with studs. Sick of this bollox where fouls are different in the box. A fouls a foul. Not to mention it's a yellow or red judging by the high foot/studs up rules in this comp so far
Penalty kick or not, it doesn't matter. Much of the Netherlands' first half was staggering and basically unwatchable. Perhaps the course of the match gives a distorted picture of the quality of the English team. Let's face it, the Netherlands presented themselves as a mediocre team here and I highly doubt England stand a chance against Spain. Surely Spain (and actually Germany, who have been very unlucky) have proved to be the tastemakers of this tournament. England are not going to make it on Sunday.

Wellicht dat het verloop van de wedstrijd een vertekend beeld geeft van de kwaliteit van het Engelse team. Laten we eerlijk zijn, Nederland heeft zich hier gepresenteerd als een middelmatig team en ik betwijfel ten zeerste dat Engeland een kans maakt tegen Spanje. Spanje (en eigenlijk ook wel Duitsland, dat erg pech heeft gehad) zijn toch wel de smaakmakers van dit toernooi gebleken. Engeland gaat het zondag niet redden.

Ha the hypocrisy in these comments is outrageous. At least Adam has been consistent in pointing out that England have been rubbish this tournament (almost entirely down to Southgate) and that moment of individual brilliance have saved them. Everyone calling him out was probably slagging Southgate off for the past three weeks and probably longer.
Just as has happened in every tournament England have played in under Southgate, they will get their pants pulled down as soon as they play a team capable of playing good football - you're just unbelievably lucky that that hasn't happened until the semi final or final in those tournaments.

Southgate went for it today! Foden played better, Mainoo brilliant, Rice good, Kane off earlier, Watkins on - this is what we wanted to see! It's paid off! The confidence of the team grew since Bellingham's overhead. Then Kane's goal, set up by Palmer, Eze and Toney. Then Saka's goal. Then the penalties - all gave the team belief to go far.
