English fans sometimes blow my mind. They are usually very knowledgable about their league and I really enjoy the English football youtube content because of that.

These people are waffling. Luis de la Fuente has been a club manager since 1997 and national team manager for U19, U21 and U23 before becoming manager for the National team. The majority of players in the spanish squad played for him before which is properly the reason for a clear idea of how to play. Nieve is just coping.
He clearly got that group playing a very nice brand of football. The Spanish players all play like a proper unit, everyone does the basics extremely well.

Not really mate, they had a nightmare draw and pulled through without half the squad they had in 08 to 12 massive achievement. And unlike England, who have an undeniably brilliant crop of players, Spain came into this as no ones favorites with a largely unproven young squad and have proven themselves a fantastic side.
