As a Rams fan, I feel bittersweet about how we played the Lions.
Then I remembered how the Cowboys season ended, and then things aren’t so bad after all
No one should have expected anything from the Rams. They went all in to win their SB and now it's just a shell of itself.
I was just happy we made it to the wild card games, but we played a great game. Wish we would have got that holding call
As a Cowboys fan, this is the 3rd year we've had the season end like this.
2021: Dak throws multiple INT's then burns the last 19 seconds on the clock running down field and sliding in bounds against the Niners and we lose the game
2022: Dak throws more INTs, misses passes to his recievers, our kicker misses extra points, and Dallas loses.
2023: same thing happened, only worse. Dak throws INT's, Dak over throws receivers, kicker misses extra points, McCarthy looks like a clown, and the Defense decides to say "fuck it" and not show up.
Cam Newton said Dak is a game manager, but he was wrong
Dak is a game breaker. He'll play ok ball for a better contract, but folda in the playoffs every year. Dallas has weapons, but they lack a decent HC and a QB with some game intelligence

As a Lions fan, it's crazy to think how that Ineligible player downfield penalty played out with the Lions hosting multiple home games and Cowboys being bounced by Wildcard Weekend.

As a Giants fan I love the fact the Cowboys stomped us 40-0 in week 1, and then the Cowboys gave up 40+ to the Packers in the most important time!

As a packers fan I had no expectations going into this game against the Cowboys considering how well they have done at home. Last night however it was so fun watching Love put on a clinic in the Cowboy’s own stadium.

You know, looking back at it 10 years later, losing to the Patriots by passing instead of running the ball was a blessing in disguise for Seahawks fans. If we'd won back-to-back rings, let alone pulled off a third win the next season, I can almost guarantee we'd be saying "this is our year" every single season regardless of the quality of the Hawks.
That has to be why Cowboys fans are so dedicated it comes to the whole "This is our year!" annual cycle of pain. It's either that or Jerry Jones wished on a monkey's paw 3 times back in the 90s and the entire team has been experiencing the consequences of messing with fate for the last 28 years.
