He’s the only continuous factor over the past 30 years of heartbreak. Only coach Dallas had that wasn’t a revolving door because Jerry needs to have total control was the architect of those 3 rings in the 90s. I sincerely doubt Dallas will win another title until Jerry is six feet under.
Again, the reason alot of fans don’t see this is because they haven’t been alive long enough to know any better. Jimmy Johnson built the 90s Cowboys. All Jerry did was pay for it and he didn’t like that. That’s why he’s the owner and GM when no other team does that. Its either a separate position or it’s part of head coach’s responsibilities.
@MaineAndre he’s been talking crap about them all year and I get that but when it came to pick teams for playoffs he had the cowboys moving on and he said the Texans COULDN’T beat the browns with a Rookie QB.. these analysts love blasting it out there when their right but when their wrong they love to not talk about it .. I’m just keeping it 100 SAS had takes and they were wrong but instead he wants to brush over that by making fun of the cowboys , nothing changes the fact that he was dead wrong and shouldn’t be taken serious when he has takes on football that is all
@KeeepUp: Stephen A. can’t really lose unless the Cowboys win the Super Bowl because he just bets against them in general. Even if he thinks they’ll win, when they lose he takes such satisfaction in it that it’s a win-win situation for him. Only thing these Cowboys can do to get him off their back is NFC Championship game or Super Bowl because they haven’t been there in a long time.
That opening drive that the Pack put together was hands down from start to finish the best complete and definitively well composed drive I think I recall seeing since the Super Bowl squad of 1996 or so with Favre and the big guys that won it who played around that time. A genuine work of art! Thanks!!
48 to 32 makes it seem like the game was close. It wasn't. Dak just padded stats in garbage time. This team ain't going nowhere with MM and Dak. We'll always beat up on weak teams and lose horribly against good zone defense
Brilliant gameplan by Matt Lefluer. Take the ball first and execute an opening drive relying heavily on the run that results in a touchdown. Put the pressure on the Cowboys from the beginning, a team that can't play from behind against good teams. They did a great job neutralizing the Cowboys pass rush and giving Jordan Love time to make big throws when he needed to. But the big reason why they did so well is because they established the run early on. On defense the Packers played very good coverage and disrupted the timing on Daks throws, getting him and the recievers all out of sorts. The Packers knew exactly what they needed to do to beat the Cowboys and they executed the game plan to perfection.
Legit Lefleur isn't the mastermind. McVay, McDaniel, Lefleur all scored on the Cowboys because Dan Quinn's defense can't stop the Shanahan offense which averaged 33 points against Cowboys this season.
As a Dallas fan, thank you Stephen A, because behind this mediocrity is Jerry, the main Cowboys problem and nothing is going to chance until he stops putting his hand in everything...and real fans know, that's not going to happen anytime soon.
What CAN go wrong, WILL go wrong. 😂 never seen a better representation of that than I did yesterday. They couldn't buy a positive play in the first half. Lol.
@@dc81503 Nice...bring in history in an attempt to discount what happened yesterday. Not one of those Dallas Cowboys on the roster said yesterday, "At least our team won Super Bowls decades ago."
In the humble estimation of fans who grew up in the 60s and 70s listening to the bookish, William F. Buckley-esque delivery of sports personalities Pat Summerall and Howard Cosell, this guy's persona; God bless 'em, would have been more appropriately welcomed as a character on the set of "Captain Kangaroo".
Let's not forget that early in the year, the cowboys lost to the cardinals. The cardinals had 400 yards of offense, 222 yards rushing. That was the cowboys first loss of the year. Every loss the cowboys have is because the opposing team was more physical and pushed the cowboys in the mouth early and often running the ball.
As a Vikings fan, the EXACT same thing is said about Kirk Cousins on a consistent basis. Great guy, but no superbowl or playoff pedigree to show for it. Yet so many people, the coach, the GM, and the ownership want him back.
I think with Kirk Cousins, he at least has the excuse of not having good enough teammates surrounding him. Dak has multiple pro bowl players and the massive bankroll of Jerry Jones, yet he still can’t get it done.
3:50 One thing that’s insane about Unc’s career numbers he did these when the running game was the staple of the offense. Can you imagine the mind blowing numbers he would have if he was apart of a passing era 😭
As a lifelong 9ers fan, my 2nd favorite team each week is whoever is playing the Cowboys. That game yesterday was a thing of beauty. Niners can't overlook the Packers, they're a dangerous team.
Packers aren’t THAT dangerous. The Cowboys simply just had their annual choke. Unless they upset the Niners next weekend, (I doubt) then they can be crowned “dangerous”

I believe that Jones won't hire a great coach is because he wants the credit for a Super Bowl win. If a Belichick came in and won the Cowboys a Super Bowl, Belichick would get the credit and not Jerry and I don't think Jerry could handle that.
It's like SAS said, why be surprised after 28-29 years of failed success. Atp we should be surprised if they actually make further than the Divisional round...
Yeah no hate on Love I'm sure he will be good going forward. I would love to see him pull off some of those throws and whoop SF. I'm just saying I was watching the game in shock. I'm not a Cowboys fan but I was like actually wondering if they had anyone in coverage. All I saw was green grass 😂. Nah Love is for real but the Cowboys didn't look like they came to play. It looked like a scripted play or something.
Dak is 13-15 since McCarthy arrived against teams that finish the season with a winning record. It shows Dak is as much the problem as McCarthy and the reason as Dan stated they both need to go. There's no legitimate argument if you're being honest. 13-15 says it all. The horrible playoff performances is just the icing on the cake.
I’m a Saints fan but my second favorite team every week is whoever is playing Dallas. I love every year how the hype and expectations are always sky high and everyone buys in while they beat up on mediocre or bad teams in the regular season, only to choke when it counts
As a 49ers Fan I wasn't surprised that the Cowboys choke this in usual fashion. I was a little surprised by the blowout. But the Packers did what the 49ers did, they ran it down their throats. Good Job Packers!
Even though Bland made history this year i think we still missed Diggs. Remember we thought Lewis was going to get cut due to his contract during training camp or shortly after.Gilmore didn't look right against the packers.
Dude I’ve been stuck at home with Mono the last few days. To say joy has been absent lately is an understatement. When I tell you I smiled bigger than I have in about a week, I’m not exaggerating. Thanks Stephan A and special thanks to the Cowboys. 😂😂😂😂
Us Packers fans had Fat Mac coach Favre and prime Rodgers. We lucked out into one fluke SB. I call it a fluke because we had 15+ starters on IR that season it was the only season I didn't think we had a shot at a SB. We played a weak playoff schedule. Packers healthy next season tear up the league in historic fashion 15-1. They didn't win a playoff game. This became a trend with Fat Mac. The team never felt prepared. Rodgers turned out to be the king of playoff chokers. Wouldn't be shocked if MM was the reason for that. I knew the Packers would destroy the Cowboys because I lived it over and over like a broken record. The Cowboys and their fans are the most entitled fans in all sports. Some fans like the Cowboys think their team will win big every game. I have not said it in 14 years and we are in the playoffs every season. The last time I thought the Packers would smoke a playoff team was in 2010 when we played the Falcons. We came into there house and obliterated them as well. Rodgers was not respected yet just like Love. And yes we have farms in Wisconsin and we grow Elite QB's.
Can we actually get a segment of them praising the Packers throughout this game more so them talking about what went wrong for Dallas. We can have both segments. Green Bay completely outcoached Dallas and Matt LaFleur deserves his praise
Dak has to go. They have changed every other piece of this puzzle. Guess what piece doesn't fit quite right to the over all picture because it's an expensive piece and you have to use it or but it just doesn't fit. He's had top receivers, top running backs, good defenses. Change coaches. Just doesn't work.
I have to agree with Dan on his statement. Dak isn't and hasn't ever proven to be a winner. You can't expect to have an all time great Def, all time great offensive pieces to help Dak. Teams have shown to pivot off of good QB's and go for the more talented QB's and it has shown to work. The idea that you'll be able to develope a super team around Dak is just as far fetched as finding a generational QB (Ravens, Chiefs, Packers, Rams, Eagles, Tampa Bay, Bills, 49ers) and that's all recent.
@@timocruz510 yea and I think the last time a back up won a superbowl that way was back in 1974 or something like that. It doesn’t happen often. Unless cowboys can build the 2000 ravens defense which is unlikely. Let a lone the legion of boom since Dan Quinn is the DC and they looked nothing like them.
What's crazy is the BUCS may have found it's QB for the foreseeable future in Baker. But you're not wrong it's hard to find a generational talent at QB. If it was that easy every team would have a patty mahomes but it's not like that. But also your expectations for a QB making a certain amount is top QB play when it comes to the playoffs. With dak is can he pick up his teammates and actually make them better. I don't think he can and you need a QB who can do that.
@@unclerico1106 yep its tricky and obvious at the same time. With how the NFL is today and the amount of QB talent that is in the league having a "system" QB takes a lot to build around and a lot to go right. You could of gotten away with that 20-30 years ago more often. Dak is a solid QB but he isn't putting a team on his back. It's a gamble to shift to someone new with raw talent. Also takes time. Also a gamble to think you can build an all class offense and defense around him. His numbers could look great but eye test says he isn't like the elite QB's. Is Jerry willing to sacrifice a year or 2 to build a team with a higher ceiling, doubtful.
I just can't imagine a scenario where Dak Prescott wins with the Cowboys. Mike McCarthy isn't any good either, but he was just as mid under Jason Garrett too. Maybe a change of scenery is exactly what DP would need to finally be able to get over the hump, because clearly Dallas isn't the environment that that's gonna happen in.
Dak and Kirk Cousins are one in the same. Good guys, good players, good stats, but they just aren't winners. If you want to sell a lot of tickets during the regular season, they are your guy. If you want to raise it up a level and win championships, they will leave you disappointed, as they always have.

This is Stephen A.'s moment.
broooooooo😅
Nah he picked the cowboys to win , so he was wrong
😂😂🤣😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤣😂
10% of households had internet service?!! Stephen A. dug deep for that one! 😂😂😂😂😂
Google didn't even exist lmao 😂😂😂
Instant classic stat 🐐🤣🤣🤣🤣
SAS was petty for that 😂
😅😅😅😅
That opening drive that the Pack put together was hands down from start to finish the best complete and definitively well composed drive I think I recall seeing since the Super Bowl squad of 1996 or so with Favre and the big guys that won it who played around that time.
A genuine work of art! Thanks!!
48 to 32 makes it seem like the game was close. It wasn't. Dak just padded stats in garbage time. This team ain't going nowhere with MM and Dak. We'll always beat up on weak teams and lose horribly against good zone defense
Yeah. I hated that the score got that high. I wanted that beat down to be evident. lol
Yep
Stat Padscott
Stats padded against 2nd and 3rd stringers in garbage time.
Nothing new about dak trashscott.
The Packers have more playoff wins at AT&T stadium than the Cowboys & won a Super Bowl there too 🤣
Packers own the cowboys
That’s their house more than the Cowboys come playoff time 😂
That’s mind blowing tbh
packers stay owning teams🤣🤣
The Packers are undefeated at AT&T stadium.
2023 Playoffs Round 1: Packers win at AT&T Stadium.
2022 Week 10: Packers 31, Cowboys 28 (OT), Lambeau Field.
2019 Week 5: Packers 34, Cowboys 24, AT&T Stadium.
2017 Week 5: Packers 35, Cowboys 31, AT&T Stadium.
2016 Playoffs Round 2: Packers 34, Cowboys 31, AT&T Stadium.
2016 Week 6: Cowboys 30, Packers 16, Lambeau Field. Well, at least the Cowboys have beaten the Packers since AT&T Stadium opened...just not at home.
2015 Week 14: Packers 28, Cowboys 7, Lambeau Field.
2014 Playoffs Week 1: Dez Didn't Catch It. Packers 26, Cowboys 21, Lambeau Field.
2013 Week 15: Packers 37, Cowboys 36, AT&T Stadium.
2010 Week 9: Packers 45, Cowboys 7, Lambeau Field.
2009 Week 10: Packers 17, Cowboys 7, Lambeau Field.
2008 Week 3: Cowboys 27, Packers 16, Lambeau Field.
2007 Week 13: Cowboys 37, Packers 27, Texas Stadium.
Yep. Since AT&T Stadium opened in 2009, the Packers are 5-0 in Dallas
Can we do a segment where it’s like a side by side of every year SAS’ laugh? It just gets more devilish every year 😂
The best part of the game was Jimmy Johnson’s halftime speech. 😁
you’re weird
😁😁 Jimmy was hurt and pissed

He was going off them
Shannon reading those quotes from thanksgiving and opening night was pure gold🤣🤣🤣
The Packers knew exactly what they needed to do to beat the Cowboys and they executed the game plan to perfection.
gameplan mastermind Lefluer on another level
Hopefully he can do it next week
Legit Lefleur isn't the mastermind. McVay, McDaniel, Lefleur all scored on the Cowboys because Dan Quinn's defense can't stop the Shanahan offense which averaged 33 points against Cowboys this season.
As a Dallas fan, thank you Stephen A, because behind this mediocrity is Jerry, the main Cowboys problem and nothing is going to chance until he stops putting his hand in everything...and real fans know, that's not going to happen anytime soon.
Real haters know, too. Everyone does. You just don't hear it very often on TV because ESPN likes Jerry's money more than they do their own integrity.
Jerry isn’t the problem. Not even close.
Naw bro the players play jerry and his son puttin good players out there they just wettin the bed 🤷♂️

I don't think he's fan of you either
It does get old especially the fake overactive laugh. It gets old but I love the other commentators thoughts.
Then why watch his show🙃
I love him he’s hilarious
Let's not forget that early in the year, the cowboys lost to the cardinals. The cardinals had 400 yards of offense, 222 yards rushing. That was the cowboys first loss of the year. Every loss the cowboys have is because the opposing team was more physical and pushed the cowboys in the mouth early and often running the ball.
The Cardinals are also 9-1 against the Cowboys in their last 10 games.
@@codyerickson3550 that is also true
Green Bay took the ball on flip.
@@into_play3226Kirk joined a team that went to thr NFC game the year before and did nothing

3:50 One thing that’s insane about Unc’s career numbers he did these when the running game was the staple of the offense. Can you imagine the mind blowing numbers he would have if he was apart of a passing era 😭
Yes he put up those numbers when Terell Davis was the focal point of the offense.
I think he played in the right Era to maximize his stats. Running the ball is objectively good for TE production

I believe that Jones won't hire a great coach is because he wants the credit for a Super Bowl win. If a Belichick came in and won the Cowboys a Super Bowl, Belichick would get the credit and not Jerry and I don't think Jerry could handle that.

The only reason the Cowboys got the 32 points was because Green Bay pulled their starters and put in 2nd string.

May the Fort Worthless Barn Shovelers bring you back to health. Be well.⛑
Us Packers fans had Fat Mac coach Favre and prime Rodgers.

I mean Eagles won w a backup. Tho granted he was playing lights out
@@timocruz510 yea and I think the last time a back up won a superbowl that way was back in 1974 or something like that.
The high point of the NFL before the Super Bowl is the Cowboy getting knocked out the playoffs early 😂
Sure is. These boys be feeding us content every year.
😂😂😂😂😂
Dak and Kirk Cousins are one in the same. Good guys, good players, good stats, but they just aren't winners. If you want to sell a lot of tickets during the regular season, they are your guy. If you want to raise it up a level and win championships, they will leave you disappointed, as they always have.
“Dak is a great person, he’s a good player.” Solid statement
