Pretty much. Have so many friends calling trying to troll but it honestly doesnt bother me, I saw this coming.
For me, it was the Cardinals game that sapped the rest of my will to care. Even though the signs were there from the get-go (they nearly lost to the Patriots in Week 1), we wanted to believe ... but by the time WC Weekend rolled around, it was already over. The players' effort (particularly with tackling) reflected this.
In all honesty, that loss to the Jets will go down as the biggest red flag they had during this season. Something about losing to them makes a team instantly fraudulent.
For me, it was the 1st Commanders game. I was like "Wait. Are the commies actually good?". But then it was like "Nuh they suck." The Jets game just confirmed my suspensions.
Didn’t the bills lose to the Jets week 1? Also the Texans lost to the jets. Are both of those teams fraudulent too?
To be fair to both teams, Josh Allen tossed 3 picks in Week 1 and The Texans had neither of their receivers.@@zacheryseymour7297

I'm an Eagles fan. Props to the Bucks for having an awesome game plan to go against our weaknesses. Horrible coordinators, nobody wanted to win, and now Jason Kelce is gone. Next Stop, hall of fame #62, Fly Eagles Fly in next year.

Try being a fan of a team that went 15 & 1 in the regular season. Blowing out teams left & right. Having a home game in the first round (after a bye). Only to lose the game after your kicker missed *THE ONLY FG HE MISSED ALL SEASON* to a bunch of *"Dirty Birds".* Took a long, long, long, long, long time to get over that pain.

As an eagles fan I kept thinking “what could be worse than the Super Bowl loss?” This whole season felt like rubbing salt on an open wound from said loss
A bad season is one thing. They happen to every team. The worst is the owner refusing to fire the coach who caused it. Jeffrey Laurie could have gone into every season ticket holders' house, banged their wife in front of them, and then made himself a sandwich and it wouldn't have been any more disrespectful than Laurie's refusing to fire Siriani.

As an Eagles Fan, while the losses to the 49ers and Cowboys were a big reality check, this season died a month and a half ago when Matt Patricia took over
They pulled the plug on Desai too fast after a tough stretch of games. I feel like the defense threw in the towel because of this move.
Promoting Matt Patricia to DC was akin to opening up the Ark of the Covenant and staring at the results.

Biggest downfall in NFL history.. Our coaches were bad, but our talent carried them, but once we played the 49ers they showed how predictable our play calls were, and it broke our coaches, and showed the league how to beat those calls. Players were great, but they just didnt believe in the coaches, which made them not hyped for anything.. We have to get rid of these coaches, or we are doomed for years. It exposed Nick as a fraud, and was only good because of our last OC, and DC.

That was an accurate portrayal of my unease turning into anger and despair throughout the season.
We had the biggest 180 I’ve ever seen really, we looked like a 2-15 team lol
The defense was like a perfect marriage of lack of talent on the back end and players phoning it in. Was so bad it almost looked like they were trying to miss tackles and take bad angles on purpose
Hurts is overpaid
The collapse of The Eagles has to be studied. They along with the Cowboys show that it doesn't matter how good you are in the regular season if you don't show up for playoffs. That did anything they did really matter
The problem was neither team looked very good as the regular season progressed and both looked like 1st round losses waiting to happen. Especially to fans and haters of each team of which I am one, so I watched each game and the playoff performances were expected.
Why did the Eagles fall during the end of the regular season?

Here's a fun fact for you, in the first Cowboys game, the Eagles fumbled three times. In the second Cowboys game, the Eagles fumbled three times. Can you spot the difference?
No? That's because it was the Cowboys who did different. 0 fumble recoveries in game one, all 3 fumbles recovered in game two.

That might have been our best game of the season. That's what got Hurts in the #1 spot for MVP until this.
Niners D gave the league the blueprint the following week. Eagles never made adjustments after that. The coaches all suck.

I think a good coach could turn the Eagles around. I’m a Niners fan, but I think the Eagles have talented skill players. The linebackers and DBs need an overhaul, though.

The eagles have an extremely talented roster minus the DBs and LBs. Also our QB is a fraud but if the right coach and scheme comes they can make him look great.
This should have been a nfc championship rematch quality of team, but these coaches suck the absolute life out of this team.

Honestly as an eagles fan, that was probably the most heartbreaking thing this season for the birds. This being kelce's last season. He didn't deserve this. It's like the team came to the play offs and didn't care what happened at that point.

Eagles fan for as long as I was thinking and I've seen seasons like this, so while it was infuriating to see the same issues each week, I knew the season was a dud. Kelce leaving on this note is worse than how this season went, it's worse than the seasons the Eagles were scraping together a handful of wins. Kelce really is 1 of 1 and I'm just happy that I got to watch him play for the team I root for (and hate equally) 🤘

Personally, I was dead inside after the Cards loss (I'm still pissed about it), I literally felt nothing after the Giants loss, and I'm borderline cathartic after this Tampa loss because I'm TRULY glad this nightmare is over. Such a relief. Looking forward to massive changes. I'm SO ready for massive changes.

I’d love to see in a screen writers video that the league decided, after the big dom incident, that the eagles were to only win one more game. And then they send a letter to certain key players saying “yeah, just give up”
Out of all the Eagles' years, this was one of them.

Majority of teams that lose the super bowl deals with some kind of super bowl depression, The Niners a few years ago lost pretty much all of their starters after losing to KC. And then KC had it's off year losing to the Bengals after the year they lose to Tampa. And this year the Eagles had a complete collapse after losing to KC, it just took it awhile to catch up. Yea i strongly believe there's a curse in losing a super bowl. It's just a matter of how much the curse wants to screw you and when.
