1st Time Hunting 1st Grouse - Canadian Grouse Hunting

I Just started Hunting, going for grouse right now and learning as i go.
Im out on some Closed Sled trails in Ontario Canada, Using a Girsan MC312 12 Guage with a 28" barrel ( a bit long to get swung up fast enough ?)
