How to Build RYOBI Tool Holders for a French Cleat Wall | 2019/27

  • A few weeks back, I built a French Cleat Wall System for my hand tools. In addition to the battery charging station, I made holders for most of my tools as well as a paper dispenser for painting. It's not the end of the project, but a good way there.
    Each holder consists of a few basic parts: a back, a shelf if required, and a cleat. Each one is made of 3/4 ply with pocket holes, pin nails, and glue. Some holders have specialty 3D printed tool mounts that are specific to my Ryobi Tools. But if you have a different brand, the models are out there; see the links below.
    Check out how I did it! Don't forget to comment, like, share, and subscribe!!!!

      @@DadItYourselfDIY mine is currently on the wall under my lumber rack. Shop is too small for an assembly table, so I maximize space where I can. On the assembly table would be ideal tho

    • @DadItYourselfDIY
      @DadItYourselfDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im thinking the table will only bee deep enough, 30" to accommodate the roll and give me enough work space, but can be easily rolled against a wall out of the way.

    We may have been looking at Ryobi Tools at the same time over the last three or years at the Oak Harbor Home Depot. Great tools that's for sure. Maybe some days we will cross paths there Scott. And bythe way I like the video Scott.

    What a great video. I though I had a decent collection of Ryobi tools but yours is off the chart! The French cleat system is brilliant. Finding a reference to the 3D printed tool mounts was the icing on the cake. Thank you 👍😎🇦🇺

    Scott, the tool holders are great idea. If RYOBI has a cordless paint sprayer you could give it a demo to paint your French cleat racks an attractive Navy gray or the YOBI color.
