Did exactly what you posted and totally worked; I learned that most 2022 Ram 1500 have an issue between the radio and the rear camera which apparently have components that are not compatible which causes malfunction. THANKS A LOT BRANDON!

This just happened to my Jeep Gladiator. This is weird but found it online and it worked for me… problem disappeared… 1. Press push button start until you are in either ACC or RUN. Do not turn the vehicle on. 2. Hold down Green Phone button & Voice Recognition button at the same time. Hold for 30 seconds (for me it worked if it pressed the phone button a split second before touching the voice button. If I pressed the voice button first the system would ramble on about commands ). After 30 seconds let go. 3. Turn the car off, immediately open the drivers door. Hold it open for 30 seconds. 4. Close the door and turn the car on, see if the issue is still there.
The very first day I drove my 2019 off the lot this happened. It also effected the sound. The radio was playing or car play or Bluetooth but no sound comes out. Still happens every so often
My 2019 does this. It will also make the Bluetooth, sat and radio skip every few min. You can reset it by holding the power down and resetting. It’s so annoying. What’s more annoying is they’ve known about this for years and still haven’t fixed it. The dealer acts like he has never seen this issue before.
Thank you worked for me today, just to add to it the lights were left on hooked up my portable jump starter to battery started up fine charged it up started it up and put in in reverse blue screen came on, So disconnected battery terminals left them off for 10 min and now camera works fine, i am guessing jump starting it caused an issue??
I had this on my new Jeep that I picked up in March in Boise and drove to San Diego. After being left turned off and back on after a 1000 mile trip the issue has not returned. I called the dealer three times to alert them within the first 100 miles. It has not happened after the third time and I am now at 1800 miles.
You should be able to just go into the settings and reset the UCONNECT system back to factory settings, and that should work as well, and I think for people that aren’t handy it is a much easier solution.
got this on a 2019 ram 1500 too. hoping to find a permanent fix as well as a more convenient quick fix rather than disconnecting the battery. I imagine there must be a way to reset it without doing this.
Thanks bud, not even dealerships knows that, 5 times and 3 different RAM service centers have no clues why blue screen, rear cam freezes, randomly media center restarts, volume stuck, no touch screen, nothing works, just frozen RAM 2020 with 1200 miles on it.
i have a 23 mojave and i have the same problem right now. t tried doing this and left the terminals off for like 6 hours and it still didnt work. any advice?
I took it in for the same problem they kept it over night and said it was a lose connection towards the end close to the camera. I’m picking it up tomorrow hoping for the best. Software was up to date.
Uconnect® 4 with 7-Inch Display issues as well. CarPlay works on occasion, randomly switching to various media sources: XM, iPod, Radio, etc. No known remedy at this time by FCA.
Does anyone have this problem on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have a 2014 and after the UCONNECT update I can’t get my backup camera to work. I’ve disconnected the battery and reset back to factory settings several times, and nothing is working. After the update the screen would turn blue, like in this video, but now it turns white, as if the brightness and contrast settings are turned all the way up. I’ve tried everything I can think ok. Any ideas?

My 2018 GC Overland 17K the radio will not turn off and the back up camera stopped working. No blue screen but putting it in reverse the screen shows the radio no back up view. Taking it to the dealer before my warranty runs out. I drove it off the lot December 1, 2017.
😆 I knew this was going to come up. The truth be told. I did do a capacitor discharge on the blue screen Jeep. But what I didn’t realize is there was still power on it. So it actually didn’t drain the capacitors. But somehow the backup camera started working. I actually came across this info on the 2 batteries after that video on the blue screen.
Mine is a 2019 RAM1500, the backup camera displays blue screen on and off as well now. Is it a software issue? Did yours get resovled now after software upgrade?

My 2018 Trailhawk's Uconnect screen has been delaminating for about a year. The screen turns blue about 25% of the time I use it and takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes to reset itself. I'm taking it to the dealer today, because I'm sick of it.
Did you have to pay to get your screen fixed? And did it stop turning blue after they fixed the bubble on the screen?? I’m currently having the exact same issues!!! 🤦🏻♀️
mine doesn't get the blue screen sometimes mine loses the guidelines, they just totally are gone.. then when I get back in the jeep later they are back on? and I never touched any setting..
My JL has done this several times also, the lines disappeared then a day later they come back. Is getting frustrating. Let me know is you find a fix for this issue.
Hey Im having this blue screen problem with my tailgate camera on my 14 ram 2500 laramie, i can see my tailgate camera on my mirror while on my screen i can see the cargo camera, i went to setting but i didnt have luck...any ideas??
I'm wondering if this is battery related like the battery is fine to start the car but maybe isn't fine in some way for the camera. I downloaded the new update to an empty 16 gb usb and plugged it into my usb outlet but nothing popped up on my screen so I called a representative and was told that the only option was to take it to a dealership. Any recommendations?
Jeep Informant sorry couldnt resist, that being said all new cars will have some kinks on redesigns, Jeep really has a homerun with this new version though, hopefully it’s something minor that can easily be addressed
I've been watching it pretty carefully and I'm wondering if you have a battery that's fading if this starts happening.... It seems to work okay when it's warmer out and it seems to work worse when it's cold out.... That's what gave me some clues.... I also found that the more often I drive my Jeep the more likely it is to work.... Keep an eye on your battery voltage see if it's going under 14 volts pretty often while it's running.....

Ok, so just to confirm, the steps are: have a discharge, drain it, and get tested.

I have a 2015 Dodge Ram it’s my screen is blue also and I did disconnect the positive and negative and I even put a new fuse still nothing any ideas

I had this and all I did was hit the unlock button with the Jeep off and it fixed it, like or reply if this helped you so others know as well

UConnect devices are two-faced. I really like the HMI design, etc, but there are lots of bugs in it.
