You've made 10 years while I'm about just to embark the journey in few hours from now. Leaving house with Brompton for the first time bikepacking. Preparation & training for about 3 months. Hope all is well. Your video gave me strength.
Wonderful! All the best on your ride. I am sure you'll have a great time. Enjoy!
You have been are an inspiration to us for all those years
Thanks a lot and thank you too for all those informative videos! All the best.
Thank you for the reminder of the amazing journeys you've made and shared with the world over the last ten years - I've watched them all as you've uploaded them. The Brompton has its limitations compared to other bikes - but as you've shown so many times - it has unique talents and strengths that no other bike can offer. You've taken your little bike far beyond what it's inventor created it for. Thank you for all the hard work, effort, time and money you've spent over the years. You are a true inspiration and adventurer 🙏🏽
Spent many a happy hour following your travels, this video sums it up perfectly, absolutely brilliant thanks G.👍🚴
Wonderful Terry! Thanks a lot and enjoyed your adventures too! Part 2 will follow with highlights from the rest of my trips so far. All the best for your future rides!
I also travel by Brompton. I have tried many bikes over the years and the Brompton is my favorite for versatility. Very good videos!
Thanks a lot, couldn't agree more!
Greetings from Australia 👍 I have been following you for years and you have giving me my inspiration to enjoy touring with my Brompton 🙏
Great to have played some part in inspiring you! These comments are the best I can hope for. All the best for many more enjoyable rides!
Just wonderful. A nice compilation of your travels around the globe:)
Many thanks! One left to come :)
A Golden Globe and or an Oscar is waiting for your 10 Years on a Brampton to be submitted for the world to view.
Ah, ah... thanks for the thought!
You make in my opinion the best bicycle Videos
Will keep going then! Thanks 🙏
Loved all your adventures. And you introduced me to Catch The Wave deep in the Pakistan trip. And here it is again, front and centre!! It evokes memories of your rides.
I own two Bromptons and I often think of you as I ride. Thank you.
Love that song and have used it and abused it as I also like it very much! Thanks for the kind comment and wonderful rides on your Brompton bikes!
UK follower here …….. Thank you for your wonderful filming - so inspirational 👍👍👍
Great to hear! Many thanks to you.
Hello Gianni, I have watched each of these videos during each of your trips and I have enjoyed them all, to the point that I bought my own Brompton electric bicycle. This summary of all this time has been wonderful. I hope you return to delight us with Other trips just as beautiful, greetings and hope everything goes well for you😊👍🚴💫✨
Nice to hear Mithu. Most appreciated and wishing you also some wonderful trips on your Brompton!
When you hit like before seeing the video! Bravos! Truly inspiring! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! With all the footage it was nice to pick some of the highlights and share some of the best moments I have had on the bike! Part 2 will follow in a few weeks with the rest of the trips.
So inspiring. Made me want a Brompton.
Very practical touring bikes for trips up to a month or so!
Why up to a month may I ask?
@@user-rt5ee4rg6vit is a little arbitrary, and you can prove me wrong by touring a year with it…Depending where you go and to be more comfortable, a longer tour needs a bit more luggage than a Brompton can take. This is my take at least. Cheers
These are superb video diaries. I’m just reading your book “Unfolding Further” (I’ve already enjoyed your first book) and I like the QR codes at the beginning of each chapter which then lead to the videos of those adventures. I had a Brompton about 20 years ago I used to ride for work everyday. I loved that bike. You’ve inspired me to buy another one and travel with it when I retire later this year.
What’s the piece of Indian music that forms the background to your journey through Sri Lanka? I rather like that.
So nice to hear you enjoyed the videos and books, thanks a lot! Exciting times ahead for you then?! Provided you are not in a rush ( and you won’t be! ), Brompton bikes are a fun way to travel and discover a country and they take some of the hassle of carrying a regular bike away. I use Epidemic sound music and that song is called Kahaani and artists are Aks and Lakshmi. Cheers!
Just simply awesome. Here's to 10 more years. Cheers 🍻
Many thanks!
Hello Gianni,
An enjoyable video, thank you... and thank you for 10 years of entertainment and education, wishing you all the best for the next 10 years.
Take care.
Paul,,
Most kind Paul, same to you!
I can already see that this is going to be an epic series 🚲🙂👍
Not quite a series, but there will be one more soon! Thanks
@@BromptonTraveler ok, an epic mini series then 😁👍
Amazing, inspiring and truly wonderful, what you have accomplished on the saddle of that great bike, I am biased as a fellow Brompton owner. I will be doing the Pacific Cycling Road in Japan come October, 1,400 Kilometers
on my Brompton, very excited about that adventure and looking forward to see your next one.
Fantastic! Japan is a perfect country to tour with a Brompton and you will have an amazing time. Enjoy!
Thanks!
Most kind! Thanks for the generous donation.
Most Awesome and epic ride mate!! Thank you for sharing. You wouldn't happen to have recorded your route on a GPS? Would love to trace your route and hopefully one day be able to ride this too. GPX file?
Sorry John I don]t have those on GPX files. On the 2 books I published I describe the routes and show some maps with the main points along the route. Most of my longer videos of each trip also give a stage pointer as I cross the main stages? You could go through those if you are interested. Thanks!
Thanks
How kind of you! Thanks a lot and hope you will enjoy what is to come!
ดูกี่ครั้งก็ทึ่ง งานที่ทำออกมาดีมาก😊
I suppose thanks is the right word!
👍
👍
Fantastic as ever....what's your next trip you have planned?
Which is your latest method to get a Brompton on a plane? I've been experimenting with the Brompton Travel Bag recently with good outcomes?
Amazing brother, living the dream! May i ask, when doing these travels, what’s your usual budget? 1-2k per month?
It obviously depends on how you want to tour and where you are. On my longest trip when I went from London to Italy over 25 days I spent 700 Euros. Lots of camping, some airbnb and hostels and some wild camping. I didn't cook my food though which would have made it cheaper. There is a database of long term cyclists and it seems that a good monthly average s about 800 Euros. Some people do it for 400 others for 1200.
I do similar but with a motor. Viva la technologie !!
I am sure that is fun too! Electric bike or motorbike?
@@BromptonTraveler Staton inc. But don't tell. It's a secret.

Thanks!
I love the no helmet riders. Doing so GOOD!!!
Usually I upset people for not wearing one! I have no doubt it is safer to wear one but we all take our own risks.
The Danish bike helmet safety advert is worth a look! (th-cam.com/video/pD-f45TbvEw/w-d-xo.html)
hello dear bro i want also Bicycle long ride travelling i want your opinion buying Bicycle beginner which one i buy
Too hard a question and depends on your budget and what you can find.
I want to be like you, travelling around the world by a bike. However I am afraid of dogs, rabies, big trucks, bears, bicycle stealers and robberies. 🤔🤔🤔
Fear stops us from living our dreams and ultimately it is not real but in our thoughts! I have the same fears you do but with a bit of common sense and trust in your gut feeling in any given situation you are likely to be alright! If you are in the unfortunate situation to experience real fear due to an accident or a dog biting you, you will be surprised how well you deal with it!
😊👏👏👏👍🙏🙏👌

You never use a helmet?
Almost never when touring.
Your touring bike is M or H bar?
