Yeah Bromptons are geared for the flat so I put a 38t chainring on, though in hindsight a 39t would fit the spider slightly better. I’ve also started ditching the mudguards if i’m not going to be riding in rain on tarmac because mud is an issue, and it needs a spanner that the Brompton toolkit doesn’t have to remove them so you can get caught out
Fair play on the Brompton’s 😮 I done LDN to PRS last October but took a more direct route and done the England section in one day, about 114km. The north and South Downs hills must have been an experience!
Training level's important but also, when I traveled to different countries I always took some Pepto-Bismol with me, they sell it in tablets that you have to chew up and I don't think they work as well as the liquid but they're light and easy to carry and they do work.
Insanity comes in many versions! As an owner of a very much modified and much lighter 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton I know it is a heavy ride on the small wheels, though mine is now below 9 kilos, with mudguards😄! Finn. Denmark
Love it! More please! How’s about North Coast 500 or Hebridean Way on the Brommies? 😁
Thanks for sending us on another adventure! We’re looking forward to the next one!
Great video guys 😁

What was the weather like last October Mark?
How many days between Dieppe and Paris?
@@VoitekKorus we had really nice weather, not to warm and a mix of blue skies, clouds and overcast days. Not to windy as well!
I’m in the US and my Brompton M6 is my favorite bike. I was hoping you guys would make this longer series, but that’s OK Thank you!
Amazing!
Great few days I bet :)
Great seeing the Bromptons off road
Me and the Mrs have absolutely abused ours since getting them in lockdown and they are solid
Great vid
❤ gran viaje. Felicidades

So refreshing that I’m not alone in the area of ‘Plan B’ … Great video, thank you!
That's extra pedaling with the small tired, you would die at my elevation 😅

0:13…That’s a nice stache!
I'm an italian Brompton traveller and I set in a 39T chainring on my 6 speed... now I have a more useful gears range for travelling with a Brommy....
Hola 👋 el modelo de Brombton es 6v o 12v ?
Gracias
Greetings from Malaysia,sir !
If I may ask.
What kind of camera or equipment did you use to shoot this video.
Thanks!
5 days, come on chaps that's a 3 day journey max !
Or, in my case, a week long saunter!
what about the equipment you are using?
What brand/model are those panniers? Got a link?
Hi Daniel - hope this helps....Pinnacle Panniers www.evanscycles.com/brand/pinnacle/water-resistant-pannier-bag-pair-713450#colcode=71345003
I want to see how they deal with the watery bit (the channel)
And I had my answer, a big fackin' ferry.
Looked like torture with those tiny wheels especially uphill
Try LEJOG at 65! 😂 The Brompton is so versatile. Love mine.
Get the gearing to suit you and Bromptons can not only cover continents but they’re great fun too.
G'wan the boys!
