A card you might want to consider especially if you're going to cast hydras at 0/0 is lifeline. Cast hydra for 0, it dies, get 3/3 hydras, lifeline brings it back end of turn, it dies, you get 3/3 hydras, end of opponents turn hydra comes back, dies, more 3/3 hydras, next opponents end step lifeline brings it back again, dies, more hydras, etc etc. And it brings back multiple 0/0s so even if your opponents stuff comes back, you easily overwhelm them
Why would you be able to bring your hydra back at the end of your opponents turn? Doesn't lifeline have to observe the hydra dying during your opponents turn?
@@edwardcardoso8532 "Whenever a creature dies, if another creature is on the battlefield, return the first card to the battlefield under its owner’s control at the beginning of the next end step." summon hydra for 0 on your turn, it dies, beginning of your end step you get your hydra back but it comes back as 0/0 so it dies. the next end step is your opponents, it says nothing about your end step, just the next end step. This is the errata'd text btw
Enduring renewal is a must have in this deck, that along with a phyrexian altar win you the game on the spot, add elemental bond and draw your whole deck
One question about the infinite combo! If Nim Deathmantle is attaching to the creature you're sacrificing, doesn't that make it a zombie, and no longer a hydra? Is there a time between the deathmantle equipping to the revived creature that you can sacrifice it again? Or would you need to sacrifice 2 alternating hydras to make it work?

Ascend from Avernus, Rally the Ancestors and Return to the Ranks are great here. They get you a bunch of hydras back (to die immediately) for a low investment
I've been teching my own brew for polukranos since pre-release and I'm not sure how much the ozolith does here in your list specifically as you're mainly casting your hydras for 0 and the only ways you have to put +1/+1 counters on your dudes are death's presence, oran-rief, the vastwood, and gavony township. I'm personally about to test out Cathar's Crusade and Defiler of Vigor with a bunch of tutors to help make them more consistent. I wasn't running Gavony Township before so I'm definitely adding that to my list. EDIT: Abiding Grace may be worth looking into as a reviver for single green costing hydras
True. It might be better to swap out for Enduring Renewal. That being said, just because the main strat is casting 0/0 hydras, some of the other hydras do enter with +1/+1 counters. So The Ozolith is still a backup for that part of the deck.
That's definitely an amazing interaction. The only token hydra that will trigger Polukranos is only if it's triggering off of itself (if it's a token). Unfortunately, the other Polukranos copies won't trigger since they're seeing a token hydra dying. Still, 4 tokens with each attack is nothing to scoff at! (It's 4 tokens; each token copy dying as a state-based action is only triggered off of itself, so you only get 2 tokens per Polukranos death, not 6).
how can i make the deck cheaper by removing the fetchlands and token doublers for a more budget friendly list? anyone have a list for me i am terible at deckbuilding

Yes, you would have to alternate between two hydras because Nim Deathmantle overrides colors and creature types.

My favorite interaction is Myriad: Give Polukranos a Blade of Selves and enjoy 12 tokens every time you attack.

Protean hulk doesnt die immediately but when it does it can fetch 6 zero toughness 1 cmc hydras netting you 12 3/3s
