Excellent review, Matt. I'm pretty sure I ran my first road race in Pumas in 1978 and then they faded out of the running scene for a long time. But they know what to do and they're going after it now. It seems like they got a lot right on this one. It's a very good looking shoe too.🍊
Puma has come a long way and they make a lot of excellent shoes now. They’re kind of like Saucony in that way; they’ve been around a long time and all of a sudden they’re dropping gems left and right! 💎 👟
These Pumas look great! stable shoes are no longer what we know, today shoes are lighter, faster and much more comfortable. And they can suit neutral runners as well.
Another fantastic Puma, now i Am a Puma runner with a Deviate 2 to speed Sessions and Fast-R to races, but as i am a neutral runner do you think i can buy this one to long runs?

Hi Benjamin! I would go with the ForeverRun! It’s a pleasantly stable ride and feels great underfoot. The UBL is a great running shoe, and the best Ultraboost, IMO, but I like the Puma better.

Considering buying a pair as they are under 60 EUR here in Europe. Do they really feel slappy (loud) on the road as some reviewers said? How is the sizing compared to Velocity 2 or Liberate? I needed to size down a full in EU sizes for those. Also, are Foreverruns much softer than velocity 2 as I found V2 quite firm. Would like to use them for long and recovery runs. I know Magnify 2 would be a better choice for a neutral runner but they are almost 2x price. :)
That’s a great price! Yes, they are a little sloppy, but they’re comfortable, so don’t worry about it! As far as firmness goes, they are very similar to the Velocity 2. If you’re looking for a super soft ride it may be worth waiting until the Magnify 2s go on sale. They will!
The Tempus was one of my favorite shoes last year! I think the Tempus is ideally suited as a race shoe for someone that needs a little stability. It’s lighter and faster feeling than the ForeverRUN NITRO. I use the ForeverRUN NITRO a lot more for easy and/or long runs.

I just couldn't remember while commenting if you had reviewed or not and was a bit lazy to go back and check.
It may be worth trying on to see. Obviously I don’t know how narrow your feet are, but this shoe doesn’t feel particularly narrow. Find somewhere with free shipping both ways and try them!

@@srinivasaprabu1243 No, I wouldn't say it has the upper hand. It's a great shoe, but if you're looking for energy return, the Tempus is the best (and lightest) by far. I would say it is equally as stable as the ForeverRUN NITRO and the Glycerine.
@@its_Matt_B_ just got the tempus, so the stability quota is filled up there. But, got the other orange cousin, the Deviate Nitro 2 in orange colorway, and it rocks. Puma will continue to stay in my pipeline, along with my other rotation favorite brands (Hoka, Asics, New Balance and Saucony)

The UBL is a great running shoe, and the best Ultraboost, IMO, but I like the Puma better.
Also consider the Puma Velocity Nitro 2 is you’d like a super soft/plush ride!

A good option as a light stability. I think it is competing with Saucony Tempus. Did you run in Tempus? If so, how does it compare? 🍊

This is actually a good question and a fair comparison. If I had to choose I would go with this as it just feels a little lighter and less clunky.

I tried this shoe, not for the stability aspect. After one run, I developed a left hip pain which I have never had. I immediately returned it.
Even it had nothing to do with the shoes, you’d always be thinking any ache or pain is because of them. The only option was for you to return them! Luckily there are other shoes out there! 😄
