@@OliverTheIceDude cxt2s are a more stable training shoe, do well for plyo since the response is a lot better and have good enough flexibility. These are more softer for all day wear but not so soft you couldn’t lift in them. I would give the width edge to WOE.
@@AMRAP Gotcha. How would these do for a 2E size foot? Which of the two shoes do you think would do better for CrossFit? My gym has strength days but also some short runs, we follow PRVN’s programming.
@@OliverTheIceDude they might be okay, volume is what I’d be worried about most but I think width should be fine. For CrossFit I’d pick cxt2…I do prvn masters, which has some heavier lifts. My gym is on PRVN affiliate as well and I think you’d be able to get away with WOEs but I prefer the stability.
@@AMRAP When you say volume, are you referring to how large the foot is? If not, how do you define volume? I'm leaning towards the cxt-2 wides personally but wanted to see how this shoe would compete. PRVN seems to have a good general mix of everything including strength but wasn't sure how this shoe would measure up with that programming.
@@OliverTheIceDude actual space in the toebox, not just width. Cxt2 wides are EE which are actually wide. It really depends on your tolerances for running, which cxt2s aren’t great at but generally okay for 200-400s. I would pick cxt2 personally.
I returned my pair the same day they arrived. They feel cheap and the laces are way too short. I bought another pair of RADs instead
😊
Diggin the new typefaces and lighting in your videos!
Bought them walked around the house all day. Had to return it. Too soft. Thanks Joel for the review
I also returned my pair
The Eva foam makes me think of a generic running shoe being sold as a training shoe.
that’s exactly what they are. not surprised one of the founders used to work for nobull which are also cheap shoes sold at premium prices
How do these compare against TYR CXT-2? What’s the width like compared to TYR’s?

Are they wide toe boxed?
They are
although toe box is wide, there’s a lot of material sitting on top of the toes, making them feel a little to snug in my opinion
