I mean I plan on 2 trolls, saw, fanatic, olligan, 3rr and enough goblins to bring me to 900 ish. So 2 bribes. I think the ooligan is now very important for damage dealing. And he is 15k less expensive than a goblin with dirty player.
Not only he is 15k less expensive than Gobbo with DP, he's also what? 12SPP less expensive? Or 6SPP+a lot of luck? That's huge, because if you want to reliably get a DP on a Gobbo, he needs to gain a lot of SPP instead of just get lucky with a Double after gaining 6. With life expectancy of Stunties, especially against teams that a little bit developed to get Block+Tackle MB, getting 12 SPP ain't never an easy feat. I feel like SPP changes are not gonna be kind on Stunties in general, considering you can't just hope that Nuffle will give you a nice roll on an up, so you can start forging a star.
@@nemamiah7832 Agreed. The new system is really good for a) elves b) big guys c) Werewolves In my opinion. Many other teams/player won't necessarily benefit as much (although there are definitely more than the three I mentioned)
Gobbo's looks like a fun team with all the mad stuff they have. are they particularly hard to play though? I think I want to do a Gobbo team just as I really like them as a race and they seem incredibly unique as well. also I could do with a gobbo or two for my orcs, so I have to get box of gobbos anyway. might as well make a gobbo team.
Turns out my mate was doing a commission with 3 converted trolls, an apothecary and some other converted character from an ork. then all the FW stuff as well. dude bailed on the commission so it's just siting there half painted. I might buy it. the troll conversions are nice as well. they're made from that 3 set of new cave troggs, but he's made proper BB armour for them and stuff. I was wanting to really paint my own though, and he's already started painting these. do I try and buy them in the state they're in for cheaper, or actually get him to fully finish the commission and buy that. there's a very good chance his commission is going to look the total tits as well when done (it will have a display board for tournies as well) my only issue is that he started to paint the armour red, and I probably wouldn't have picked red myself. I guess red will have nice contrast again the green skin, and the blue of the trolls. my chaos are going to be red though, and I didn't want to have any teams in similar colours.
The “No Bribes” roster actually costs 975, not 995. You can do a version of that roster and replace one lineman with a ‘Ooligan to get to 1000 on the nose. Seems well worth it.
With the new rules on how to level up (i know that i still needs the gobos alive), and the improvement on Fanatic (i know its a small thing) i am really looking forward to play some gobos, sadly they did get that nerf on bombs

Ah yes, the true stunty team. What better way to play stunty that a team that loses damn near half its models thanks to secret weapon, then pray 2 trolls win the game? There are none, if only this team didn't cost 3 kidneys irl.
The trolls are also Loner 3+ for goblins in the 2020 rules, so making sure you have both is even better.
