As this formula contains both I use at the same time but if you have two separate products I would apply benzoyl peroxide first then Azelaic acid. Both are fine to use in the same routine, I would just give time between each one
Hi, so my acne isn’t based off diet or what I eat however I am vegetarian and I have been vegan for 3 months in the past (not my decision) and I saw no changes in my skin. My acne is all hormonal. Yes you can use these together within the Dermatica formula but % are low so your skin has the the chance to tolerate it. Personally, I would use one or the other as it’s more gentle on the skin.
Is it safe to mix azelic acid cream and benzoyl peroxide gel at night ? You have both ingredients in one cream but in my country it is available in two different tubes.. so should i just apply both at night?

I would recommend you a BP wash instead! Put it on after a first oil cleanse and before shower and rinse it off. It needs to sit for about 3 min. You can then just hydrate and moisturise, or even incorporate salicylic acid or a retinoid if you can tolerate it. A BP wash works really well and doesn't make you as dry as a leave on treatment! In the morning you can use a azelaic acid (for example face theory), moisturiser and spf. This shouldn't dry out your skin ❤.
As they are both within my formula, these are applied at the same time but if you have 2 separate products, you can use the benzoyl peroxide first followed by the Azelaic acid last.

I am on the same prescription as you with dermatica 🤞 just started a week ago. Did you use 1 pump for whole face? I find i need 1.5 pumps. 1 pump is not enough for my whole face
@@LauraLeannee did you continue to see results? I am use to 5% benzoyl peroxide so a bit skeptical if 2.5% will work on me. Oh & i have a terrible habit of popping my spots 😭.

Can I use Azalaic acid morning and benzoly peroxide at night as a spot treatment?

Did you put it on the clear areas of your face as well, or just on problem areas?

Depends how your skin copes but general rule would be to apply at different times.

Azelaic acid is great for the post acne marks. This is something you can use in the evening, doesn’t need to be used off.

Hi sometimes it can take time but if you feel like 15% may help you can introduce it
And which moisturizer are you using ? I have white head oily skin
If I was to use a moisturiser I would just use cerave & a facial oil

Oh good luck! Yeh I did 1.5 - 2 pumps, honestly you’ll still have loads left by the time you get the next one
