Love the more in-depth stuff like you did with this one. Super interesting to see how you do things and very helpful since I'll be doing my own motor here soon enough!
I like watching you put stuff together instead of fast-forwarding to seeing it finished. .. The craftsmanship instead of boom that done. Love the channel regardless though.
I just an ETS Rotated kit in my 2020, started it up last night! I have a 6870 for it but I'm starting with a little 6262 until I can find the right turbine housing for my 6870. I'm surprised at how different it sounds compared to the stock location FP Green, much deeper exhaust note.
It's been 2 years since my baby broke down and I don't wanna get it fixed cuz I wanna take it to you for my build, I always love watching these cuz your attention to detail is immaculate. I wanna ship my car out but I'm damn broke lmao I would have to leave it there for like a year or more😂
When I worked at ECS Performance it seemed like the batteries were always dead. something about performance subie shops I guess. you should get a battery charger.
I'd probably watch a start to finish video of this install if you filmed the ENTIRE process, as I sit here slightly stressed by an 0457 code on my OBXT; should I take to the STEALership and get them to tell me exactly what's wrong or make a smoke device and hope it tells me where the evap leak is.....
I know its 2 years old I apologize. You havent had any leaks or issues with the rubber hose coming off the cut hardline from the water pump since it no longer has that rounded edge?
as always, good mechanical information. can’t wait to have my ets kit and precision turbo in the next week or two. is that the new anti surge housing on the 6466?!
Hey for fuel system maybe look at running Elixir fuel pumps / fuel system products. Rather than twin pumps could run even the 1000whp cars off 1 intank pump. Help with reducing failure points and electrical load.
@Dan Johnson yeah they're not exactly super mainstream yet. But they get used in some of the big GTRs making 2000+ hp and other things making 3000hp as well as some of the World time attack cars.
Hey Josh, Just installed my ETS rotated kit (6466) and did my first startup/drive and I’m noticing some very mild smoke coming from the exhaust. Not a lot and not continuous. Is this just from the oils on the piping. Curious what you would say is normal to expect after installing these kits.
Looking for some advice.. im trying to build my 04 subaru wrx for around 400hp and its got 6speed swapped and clutch done. Just wondering how I could build it for under $10k for around that power. The reason for 400 is the competition around me with high hp subis
Question Josh! I'm about to mod my 2017 STI and was wondering if you have ever worked with BCP500+ turbos? if so, did you like them? also would a 500whp on e85 STI be a good stopping point for internals? i don't beat on it every day and I also change the oil with motul every 3,000. Would it be a safe HP range on a stock internal Cant Wait for more vids!
It’s all about how you take care of the car he likes to say “if you tear it like a race car you will have race car problems” he has plenty of videos on his channel about the stock block stuff. Most of the time it will hold. But that is 100% depended on the tuner, get a good one it will be worth the extra money. Then again it’s still a stock block and you can’t be mad if you blow it up. (Not speaking for him I just have watched every video he’s ever made) good luck have fun.
since you deleted the upper reservoir how do you not have issues on burping the colant system? can you please make a video to show us if theres a trick to do it.
@@gerik3343 Josh did make some videos in the past showing his process. Basically josh runs the filler kit on the radiator with the front end jacked up to create the highest point to burp air out from the system.

I never get tired of your tuning videos brother. It's all new and it's very interesting.
No wind and no cranky neighbor hassling you. I say the shop is a major success!

Can't wait to see where they're gonna put the big turbo kits on FA24s
We will figure something out bro

Make sure you use the gopro hood and put the hand warmer in its pouch on really cold days... Hope they help
Damm Josh, you make it all look so easy. Stay safe brother. Great videos, and the shops look awesome, organized, and clean. Subies forever.
Waiting for the fa20 build update
I 2nd this hard.
Can you please do a full detail video on deleting the expansion tank with out the a IAG AOS
This is the first video I've watched in a while
I wish I could get the SuperStick dipstick to go with my Launch Edition but I can't find it anywhere in stock now.

Hey Josh, when you do the expansion tank delete, do you transfer over the expansion cap to the radiator? Or should I keep the factory radiator cap on.
Im always curious on why you prefer the 1.05 AR instead of the 0.83 AR for better response? Does the 0.83 cuts a lot of the power at higher RPM's?
Would you recommend a rotated set up for a daily driver kinda
So hold up, do Subarus use flat tappet cams? I always thought they were a roller style. Didn't know you had to break in the cams.
It's a shim under bucket design.

Would the ams or process west intake manifold make much of a difference on this same setup?
Can you delete the header tank with out having a aos
What's with you and batteries?
Great informative vid Boss Man!

High torque at low rpms is what kills stock engines. Your tuner will make it 500whp and 390 torque.
What if you have the street series should we upgrade or are we fine
I’d recommended upgrading to competition model always.
Killing it!!!
since you deleted the upper reservoir how do you not have issues on burping the colant system? can you please make a video to show us if theres a trick to do it.
From what I understand the AOS basically takes the place of the upper reservoir.
you burp the coolant from the radiator
@@mystrodreezy9190 yes i know that but since the radiator is not the highest point and it will have a hard time removing the air bubbles

What's the current lead time on a 6466 turbo? I heard they were backordered
I ordered mine on Nov 22 and i received my ETS rotated kit with the 6466 and 1.05 housing on Jan 24th
Can I just know how much it would cost to get this install?!?!?!?!
Oh yeah man 🔥🔥🔥
Hey man
What happened to your help
You had working with you?
He laid me off 😂
#Bbr got the whole Suby world rotated 🤣
Time 60-130 wIth 6466 ?
depends on the power. Some make 600-700whp others make 800-900whp. 60-130 should be around 5secs
😎🌶️
Time to invest in a battery tender.
Need some battery jump packs at the ready ⚡
Why use american made parts on japanese cars, makes no sense, having brands like Greddy and Hks.
Not sure I follow? Probably because greddy and HKS dream of ever making parts capable of making a 1000whp on a 4 cylinder lol
