Man, I am just torn between getting this or the Ally. I think the Go's bigger screen, 800p interger scaling, trackpad, apparently better performance, FPS mode and detachable controllers are super cool... but Ally is more portable, has better speakers, quieter fans, VRR, more mature software and a landscape screen (I heard the Go's portrait display is problematic for older games, which I plan on playing a lot). I've heard mixed things about ergonomics, build quality, controls and battery though. I think I might be leaning towards the Ally, especially since I can find it second hand for about 3/4 of the price of a new Go. Any suggestions?
Personally I still prefer the Ally. The Go is incredibly unique and takes some cool risks I can appreciate. But the execution of it all is what disconnects me from the experience. Both are awesome devices. If you don’t see yourself messing with the controllers and the FPS mode but 1 time, get the Ally. I’ll have more to say in my full review but for now I think it boils down to how often you’ll use the features of the Go versus just wanting a solid portable gaming handheld you actually take with you places.

A lie? It was well talked about during launch lol. Maybe they fixed it for newer units but the Go uses a portrait based display. That you can look up. The display is not custom made. Most handhelds don’t use custom built displays. Too expensive. The Go just happens to have a portrait native display that on first launch displays in portrait. Why would I lie? Literally watch my unboxing video. You can see for yourself. It was a sealed box and the Go booted up in portrait. I even joked about it.
I bought the go because of the size. The size was the main seller for me. I like seeing what im doing.
The thumbstick is supposed to be removed and put into the round spot for it in the carrying case when in FPS mode.
Yep!

The charger that comes with the ally is also 65w
Yeah I realized right after I posted this. 😩
Does anything beat the switch pro?
No one beats nintendo when it comes to handhelds 😎
Yes. The legion go the rog ally and the steam deck. The switch is a weak piece of crap
how about the fan noise
He was paid off to avoid talking about that
That’s what it seems like with most YT videos covering the LLG.
This is just an unboxing - stay tuned for the full review coming soon.

I just realized this IS the unboxing video lol. Bro it came that way. They all did. Look it up.😂
@@XXIVCONCEPT lol
Honestly the Legion Go Performance is very bad due to the lack of the CPU and the Resolution of the Screen
Who lied to you. It performs better than the ally and deck.
But just barely better than the ally.
