I got a 1650ti gaming laptop. From 2020. But grab my og switch. Coz it just more relaxing to play little nightmares, in bed/easier to start playing. As a adult. I would like a oled steam but the power between my laptop and having a ps5. I just hope a bezzeless lcd steam deck 2 comes out soon. I can justify 300 for a lcd steam deck. emulate & indies & developers support it. But not 479. Just for a screen and a 2-5fps boost and the battery won’t matter, as I go away 1-3 times a yr. I be waiting forever for a steam deck 2😂 What are other people’s experiences or thoughts?

It looks nicer on camera. Irl, the plastic is cheap and that translates to its feel, look, and sound.

The top even acts as a tray to hold screws you take out, and it’s magnetized to help hold on to them.

I went from the nicest LCD version to the nicest OLED version. I think the upgrade was worth it because the LCD for the original steam deck was really not good at all.

What's great about the Ally is it's super portable, not super loud and hot, and can play games as well as do normal computer things. Plus, it's cheaper. You can plug it into monitors and such. And once it gets too old, you can then just keep using it as a normal computer and then use GeForce Now or Boosteroid and cloud game on it with the WiFi 6. So win win.

This could be a Life saver for my girlfriend as I shipped her a Steam Deck oled just only issues she has is if she has to jump through a bunch of steps to play a game like watching a 10 minute tutorial on how to get gamepass to work on steam, she just wants to literally press play n have the game work lol

Anyone figured out how to change language in games from xbox store from default english to other picked in geforce now settings?

For gaming anywhere, handheld is perfect because it will run games without compromising on performance, but we have to plug the laptop for gaming to get full performance

the num pad is an absolute must, not even a student, but i need it. i only wish that the speakers were better, but I supposed that's the sacrifice. Alternatively, I can just buy the speakers that I would prefer, because realistically laptop speakers are not really designed to be standouts.
