Technically she’s the long lost sibling as the original daughter of both Sidney and Billy was supposed to be Jill. Someone Sidney gave up to be adopted by her aunt. Until the story was changed. But you can see much of that story in Sam just arranged differently lol

One thing that makes no sense about scream 5 and 6 is how the fuck can Sam possibly hallucinate Billy Loomis when she never even met him. Literally makes no sense. How could she possibly know how he acted when he was alive in her hallucinations when she never met him in real life. Also why is it that more people aren’t talking about this blatantly massive plot hole.
The hallucinations are informed by what she knows about his actions (as the OG Ghostface), and she has likely studied the story and seen plenty of pictures-especially after learning he was her father.

It's possible. There could be another "Roman" to Sam. Maybe this hypothetical long lost sibling would be more in alignment with Billy's vision and be introduced to the franchise to teach Sam a lesson on how to 'do things right'.
I'm not too sure about them introducing another secret half sibling since Sam was one herself. I think it's a possibility that the killer will be Tara. They're half siblings, they were estranged for years like Richie said, and now that Sam revealed that she was the reason her dad left, she's got a motivation to kill Sam. I’ve literally have only been saying this since Scream 5, the new movies are obviously following the pattern of the original trilogy. The killer in Scream 7 will either be another sibling of Sam’s who’s also the illegitimate child of Billy Loomis or it’ll be Sam & Tara’s mother. The new movies are following the same formula as the original trilogy but not exactly. Unlike Billy & Stu, Richie committed the murders with his real girlfriend Amber, not to mention Amber actually managed to kill one of the core 3 legacy characters. Unlike Billy’s death being avenged by just his mother, Richie’s death was being avenged by his father, brother & sister, which was the very first time we’ve had 3 killers at the same time. Each movie has pulled off a first, 5 with Dewey’s death & 6 with 3 killers, whatever goes down in 7 we all know one thing for sure, it’ll be another first for the franchise & it’ll be something huge!
I really like the theory of scream 7 being the last movie, with Stu coming back and Sam both being the killers, kind of a symbolic way to end the series, but I actually really love this theory because we would still have Stu and Billy’s child be the killers without having Sam be one of them
I wouldn’t want that we need something that’s not a love interest, related to previous killer, or related to the protagonist. Ik it’s a similar formula but hear me out, what if they do the cult thing but the killers are related to some of the victims that were in previous films. Like idk if they talk about him I believe but what if Wes father became a killer for 7 as an example let’s say due to the divorce he hasn’t really been a part of Wes life but shows up again saying he wants to be part of his life again and that Wes agreed but then he dies before that can happen and his rage is aimed towards the Carpenter sisters and he finds other people like him who lost loved ones due to the ghostface killings. You bring in Sam and Tara’s mother and father possibly, you bring Sydney back and have her husband join this time, really get the whole thing of family and it’s them fighting to protect the ones they love. Also when the killers are revealed don’t make them start acting goofy make this the deepest realest thing ever. Just my take and ik it’s still close to home for killer reveals but I think it can be done well

this is cool, but I don't think Radio Silence would do something this unoriginal. 2022 was back to basics to astablish characters to pass the torch to, and it would be hard to step out of their comfort zone since it's the first Scream in 11 years and the first one with Wes Craven. What if in Scream 7, Sam and Tara’s mom, Christina, and her ex husband were the killers? They’d want to kill Sam for ruining their marriage, and both would have gone mad. The two only get along for the sake of the mission. Christina reveals she learned something from a drunk Billy. She learned that it’s better to work alone, so she kills Mr Carpenter. Sam ends up defeating Christina, though she hesitates to kill her own mother. Tara finally gives her approval when Christina tries to kill them again, and the two daughters lose all hope of still having a mother. I don’t think this is likely but it would be a good story.

I’ve literally have only been saying this since Scream 5, the new movies are obviously following the pattern of the original trilogy. The killer in Scream 7 will either be another sibling of Sam’s who’s also the illegitimate child of Billy Loomis or it’ll be Sam & Tara’s mother. The new movies are following the same formula as the original trilogy but not exactly. Unlike Billy & Stu, Richie committed the murders with his real girlfriend Amber, not to mention Amber actually managed to kill one of the core 3 legacy characters. Unlike Billy’s death being avenged by just his mother, Richie’s death was being avenged by his father, brother & sister, which was the very first time we’ve had 3 killers at the same time. Each movie has pulled off a first, 5 with Dewey’s death & 6 with 3 killers, whatever goes down in 7 we all know one thing for sure, it’ll be another first for the franchise & it’ll be something huge!
I really like the theory of scream 7 being the last movie, with Stu coming back and Sam both being the killers, kind of a symbolic way to end the series, but I actually really love this theory because we would still have Stu and Billy’s child be the killers without having Sam be one of them
I wouldn’t want that we need something that’s not a love interest, related to previous killer, or related to the protagonist. Ik it’s a similar formula but hear me out, what if they do the cult thing but the killers are related to some of the victims that were in previous films. Like idk if they talk about him I believe but what if Wes father became a killer for 7 as an example let’s say due to the divorce he hasn’t really been a part of Wes life but shows up again saying he wants to be part of his life again and that Wes agreed but then he dies before that can happen and his rage is aimed towards the Carpenter sisters and he finds other people like him who lost loved ones due to the ghostface killings. You bring in Sam and Tara’s mother and father possibly, you bring Sydney back and have her husband join this time, really get the whole thing of family and it’s them fighting to protect the ones they love. Also when the killers are revealed don’t make them start acting goofy make this the deepest realest thing ever. Just my take and ik it’s still close to home for killer reveals but I think it can be done well

Sam already has a half-sibling, one actually there from the beginning and not retconned. I think Tara is gonna be a big red herring in 7, Mindy calling her the new Roman the whole time, then Stu is gonna show up to kill one or both of them.

For me Scream 3 is the best knowing that Sydney has a half brother Roman Bridger and that was the only Scream franchise that has only one killer.

this is cool, but I don't think Radio Silence would do something this unoriginal. 2022 was back to basics to astablish characters to pass the torch to, and it would be hard to step out of their comfort zone since it's the first Scream in 11 years and the first one with Wes Craven. Scream VI was an original thing for the Scream franchise. I think that's a nice observation, but it's also unoriginal.

What if in Scream 7, Sam and Tara’s mom, Christina, and her ex husband were the killers? They’d want to kill Sam for ruining their marriage, and both would have gone mad. The two only get along for the sake of the mission. Christina reveals she learned something from a drunk Billy. She learned that it’s better to work alone, so she kills Mr Carpenter. Sam ends up defeating Christina, though she hesitates to kill her own mother. Tara finally gives her approval when Christina tries to kill them again, and the two daughters lose all hope of still having a mother. I don’t think this is likely but it would be a good story.
Maybe Roman Bridger had a child of his own. The niece or Nephew of Sidney and grandchild of Maureen.
